Abstract

The research was conducted in Jeruju Besar village in the district of Kubu Raya and Sungai Bulan village in Sungai Raya District. These two locations were chosen because of its location within program The DEMAPAN (Self Sufficient Dietary Village). The purpose of this research was : (1) to analyze the quality of food consumption in the Desirable Dietary Pattern/DDP communities, Kubu Raya District (DDP score). (2) to analyze the relationship between socio-economic aspects and the diversity of food consumption in the DEMAPAN village in Kubu Raya district. The research was carried out for 6 months, in which the data collection finished for 5 weeks, i.e. from January to June 2013. Population of this research is the head of the family who live in the Village of Sungai Bulan Sungai Raya District, the locations of DEMAPAN program in 2010, and also in the village of Jeruju Besar, Sungai Kakap District by 2011. The sample selection was based on Randomize Simplified Sampling method, in which the sample were randomly selected. The research variables were socio-economic factors (income, education, and family size), Score DDP (Desirable Dietary Pattern). The results showed that the DDP score of 68.52 in the research area is still low compared to West Kalimantan DDP score of 71.79 and score of 100 DDP ideally. DDP score Jeruju Besar Village were not significantly different than the score DDP in Sungai Bulan Village. Factors effecting the DDP Score in Jeruju Besar were income, education, and number of dependants. While at Sungai Bula Village they were family income and number of dependants. So, the factor of income level, education, and number of dependants were key determination of the level of food diversity in the commuity. Abstract

Vegetable Farmer Behavior Analysis in Purchasing insecticides (Case Study In Vegetable Farmers in Sungai Selamat Siantan Hilir District) The objectives of this study were: 1) determine the behavior of vegetable farmers in the purchase of insecticides based on product attributes in Sungai Selamat Siantan Hilir District and 2) identify the product attributes that taken into consideration in the purchase of insecticide. The research was conducted on vegetable farmers in the Sunagi Selamat Siantan hilir district North Pontianak within sampling by simple random sampling. Observed variables are variables which consists of consumer behavior and beliefs purchase evaluation based insecticide product attributes that include price, quality, volume and packaging manufacturers instructions indicated on the package label. It also investigated behavior is also influenced by external factors which include variable normative beliefs and motivation variables. Analysis of research data using the model of Fishbein multiatribut. Fishbein multi-attribute analysis results indicate that the value of a vegetable farmer attitudes to insecticide products is good on all three insecticides used are derived from the manufacturer Syngenta, Dupont and DGW. Quality attributes against insect pests of the class to be a major consideration in the purchase of the three insecticides. Keywords: Consumer Behavior, Vegetable Farmers, Purchasing insecticides.

Abstract

Budi Syahrizal "Rice Agribusiness Development Strategy Development Through Rice Estate in Kubu Raya District", under the guidance of Ir . A. Hamid A. Yusra, MS and Dr. Ir. H. Sutarman Gafur, M.Sc. The research aims to : 1. Knowing the real rice management by Kubu Raya District Government in increasing rice production. 2. Identifying factors external environment into opportunities and threats management of real rice and internal environmental factors are the strength and weaknesses of the management of real rice. 3. Formulate alternative strategies that can be implemented according to the manager of the rice area real environmental conditions. 4. Analyzing priority management strategies that can be implemented in accordance with the environmental conditions of real rice area . Benefits of this research are : 1. As an input for the management of real rice in Kubu Raya District to be considered in carrying on their business in the face of environmental changes occur real rice. 2. This study is also expected to be material information for the various parties involved in the management of real rice to prepare measures that can improve the production and productivity of rice in order to self-sufficiency and food security in Indonesia , particularly the Kubu Raya District immediately reached. 3. As for the academics, hopefully this study can be material information, comparisons and references for further studies. The research was conducted in the village of Kuala Foreman A B District Overseer Kuala Kubu Raya district of West Kalimantan Province and held for about 2 months. Method used was a survey method and included in the descriptive study. The population in this study are all stakeholders involved in the system of rice agribusiness. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, which determine directly or selecting respondents deliberately . The results of this study are : SWOT analysis matrix shows the internal - external strategic factors obtained is : SO the value of 3,2748 , with a value of 3,0448 ST, WO and WT with a value of 2.5888 with a value of 2.3588. Abstract

Business Investment Feasibility Analysis of Fish Hatchery in Local Fish Breeding Center (BBI) of Kubu Raya Regency. Development of freshwater fish farming in Kubu Raya regency is highly depends on the availability of qualified fish seed, since it is the input for the fish farmers. In relation with the provision of qualified fish seeds, the local government through the Department of Fisheries and Marine has build a local fish breeding center (BBI) in Kubu Raya regencyas aunit that produces qulified fish seed. It aimstomeet the needs of fish seed in Kubu Raya, so that may contribute toan increase in local revenue (PAD). The objective of this researchare: to analyze the demand of the type and the amount of fish seeds in Kubu Raya regency, how muchfish seeds produced in accordance with the capacity of facilities and infrastructure in BBI;to analyze the feasibility of a fish hatchery business investments, how much profit sobtained compared to costs incurred by local governments which can contribute to the increased of PAD; and to analyze the sensitivity of investment feasibility fish hatchery operations in the event of changes in the factors that may affect the benefits and costs . This research was conducted by using a qualitative descriptive and Microsoft Excel program to assess the feasibility of business investment in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regency. Based on the analysis of fish seed demand in Kubu Raya regency, namely 4.084 million seed catfish, 2.776 million tilapia and 808.640 carp, while in West Kalimantan fish seed requirement are 36,106,560 catfish, 20,913,680 tilapia and 20,482,880 carp. Fish seed production capacity in local BBI of Kubu Raya Regency is 2.288 million seed catfish, 1.884 million seed tilapia and 1.055 million seedcarp. The results of the feasibility analysis of business investment in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regency shows NPV = 4,698,084, Net B/C 1.19, IRR 16.17% and PBP 5 years 1 month with10 years project duration, and thus the investment business in fish hatchery local BBI of Kubu Raya regencyis feasible. Sensitivity analysis shows that if there is an increase of production costs (feed, fertilizer, lime and drugs) of 7.62%, the value of profitability NPV = 4,575,511, net B/C 1.101, IRR 16, 11%, and PBP 5 years 6 months. In conclusion, business investment of fish hatcheries in local BBI Kubu Raya regency is feasible. Keywords : Demand seeds , investment feasibility, fish hatchery, Local BBI .

Abstract

The purpose Of this study is to know how much of Contribution plasma estate concerning to Profit Ngabang Estate of PTP Nusantara XIII (Persero). Methods of reserch conducted is case research. Case researach is commit direct relationship between variable accourding to cause effect. The methods that use in this research is common size. Its making over number in loss/Profit balance become percentage. Database that use in this reasearch from accounting report of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIII (Persero) from 2007 to 2012 at Ngabang estate. Ngabang estate have 31,7% of plasma estate and 68,3% inti esatate. The age of palm oil estate with have average 29 years old. According result of research plasma estate have a negatif relation to profit of Ngabang esatate PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIII (Persero) with percentage -161,91%. Its cause some factor, first advantage of amortisasi, second low productivity of palm oil caused the age too old. Third, Prices of plam oil comodity lower with the result next year must be relationship between plasma estate and inti estate has been loss. Beside that have suggestion the palm oil must be replanted and formation of Private managemet in plasma estate. Key Words : Contribution, Plasma, inti, Profit

Abstract

Program diversifikasi memberikan keuntungan berupa meminimumkan resiko, menghindari akibat buruk dinamika pasar dan sebagai sumber pertumbuhan baru. Petani di Kota Singkawang sudah lama melakukan diversifikasi pada lahan sawah mereka dengan memasukkan usahatani sawi (Brassica juncea) dan mentimun (Cucumis sativus L). Produksi sawi dan mentimun di Kota Singkawang lebih tinggi dibandingkan jenis sayuran lainnya hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis sayuran tersebut memiliki kontribusi yang cukup besar bagi pendapatan petani, sedangkan padi diusahakan sebagai sumber beras keluarga petani. Tujuan penelitia ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendapatan maksimum dari usahatani padi dan sayuran (sawi dan mentimun), produksi optimal, alokasi sumber daya produksi dan kisaran perubahan harganya dalam kondisi optimal dalam usahatani tersebut. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan menggunakan alat analisa Linear Programming POM-QM for Windows3, model fungsi tujuan (Zmax) = C1X1 + C2X2 + C3X3 dengan keterbatasan sumber daya produksi (constrain) berupa lahan, benih, pupuk urea, pupuk NPK dan tenaga kerja (HOK). Analisis sensitivitas dilakukan guna mengetahui kepekaan perubahan sumberdaya produksi dengan tidak mengubah pendapatan optimal usahatani tersebut. Penggunaan lahan, pupuk NPK dan tenaga kerja belum optimal atau belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan sementara ketersediaannya ditingkat petani berlebih, sehingga dalam kondisi optimal penggunaan lahan, pupuk NPK dan tenaga kerja perlu ditambah dari persediaan yang ada. Benih dan pupuk urea merupakan sumber daya yang langka karena dalam kondisi optimal semua persediaan habis terpakai. Tingkat pendapatan setelah dilakukan optimalisasi adalah sebesar Rp. 18.294.980,00 lebih besar dari pendapatan aktual petani sebesar Rp. 12.665.325,00. Abstract

West Kalimantan, in addition to prioritize the programs to increase food production, also relying on the kind of horticultural crops as one of the new growth in the agricultural sector. The development of horticultural plants have good prospects of other agricultural commodities. This study aims to analyze the economics of agribusiness Papaya Hawaii. This study uses survey methods. Location is determined by purposive in kecamatan pontianak Utara. Population which is the object of research is the entire Papaya Hawai farmers in the District of North pontianak as many as 118 farmers. Sampling in this study determined by a simple random sample method. The sample in this study were a total of 32 farmers from around the Papaya Hawaii farmers in the district of North Pontianak. Data analysis is the analysis of profit, R/C ratio and Break Even Point (BEP). The results show that the profit received by papaya hawaii farmers is Rp 7216585.2 /year. R/C ratio is 3.82. In the agribusiness Papaya Hawai achieved selling price of Rp 1179 with sales volume of 569.3 kg to achieve the BEP. Key words: Profit, R/C ratio, Break Even Point (BEP), Papaya Hawaii.
