Abstract

One of the government effort in accelerated development is believed to be done with maximum natural resource management, sustainable, and without any conflict. This 2800 ha of land conflict happened between rural citizen in sub regency Tapung Hulu and PTPN V Kebun Sei Kencana. The aim of this research is to find out information about social network and land conflict in rural communities in Senama Nenek vilage. This research is done within November 2015 until March 2016. Research method is using survey method and research sample for community leaders (12 people by census) and ordinary citizen (113 people by Snow Ball). The data that needed is primary and secondary data, the analysis used SPSS and UciNet program. The result showed that there are 12 actors involved in this conflict which are : 8 actors that maintain customary land (Ishk, Myya, Mkwr, Frds, Abms, Ahyn, dan Tmsn) and 4 actors uphold interests of the company (Abcn, Sprn, Sjls, dan Srdi).

Abstract

The combination ofcoconutcoirandrubbercan produce rubberized coir products(sebutret). The sebutret is verypotential to be developedto gain value added and increase farmers and local government incomes. The research objectiveswere to assessinternal and external factorsthat affect theproduct development and the implicationofstrengths,weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively in the form of weighted average scores and analysis strategies with SWOT analysis matrix, IFE, EFE and IE. The studyshowsthat the main strength is the availability of sebutret product market and its main weakness is thelow competitiveness, limited scope of local villages and districts. Meanwhile the main opportunity is sebutret manufacturing technology already exists and the main threat is the absence of a strong business partnership. The analysisshows thedevelopment of sebutret agro industry can be managedwith market penetration strategy and product development. Implication of the analysis is formulated alternative strategy, namely: conduct accurate data collection, conduct a feasibility study, produce sebutret accordance with market demand, conduct the preparation of resources, establish processing industries, cooperate with the competent institutions, provide equipment and machinery, provide expert as facilitators, conduct promotion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to: 1) analyze the role of gender differences in the response of consumers as well as eco-friendly behavior; 2) Develop a model of eco-friendly education to encourage changes in society behavior. This research was conducted  by survey techniques. Respondents in this study were consumers who shop through the Small Market which numbered 60 people. Descriptive analysis and t test  are used to answer the purposes of this study. The results showed a significant difference between men and women  in collective values, affective response, conative response and eco friendly behavior.To construct  eco friendly behavior  requires the responsibilities of all parties. , Governments, producers, consumers, educational institutions and the media have their respective roles to be able to raise awareness of eco friendly behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of profitability, productivity, and output growth as well as to analyze the development of the competitiveness of the beef cattle bussiness in Mempawah Regency. This research took placed in 9 Sub-distric in Mempawah. The method used was the descriptive method using the panel data from 2008-2013. The data were processed using the method of ICI (Industrial Competitive Index) by finding out the indicator which included the index of profitability, productivity and output growth. The results of the analysis showed that the growth rate of the profitability index was 15.07%, the productivity index 12.67% and output growth index -4.74%. Based on the result of the analysis, the growth rate of the industry competitive index (ICI) for 9 Sub-distric in Mempawah Regency overall had a positive value. This indicated that the 9 Sub-distric in Mempawah Regency had the capability of competitiveness. The growth rate of the industrial competitive index for Mempawah Regency was 9.12%.

Abstract

This study was aimed to analyze the competitiveness of farming palm oil (competitive and comparative advantage), Random Sampling method was used to select 88 respondens was determined purposive. The reason for choosing of Subah District because this area is largest palm oil producers and largest and oil palm planting area in the Sambas Regensy . The data used primary and secondary data. The Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) method was used to analysis data. farming palm oil in Subah District has competitive and comparative excellence.Private propitability(PP) and Social propitability (SP)is positive value of,   Private Cost Rasio (PCR) 0,24, Domestic Resources Cost Ratio (DRCR) is 0,15. Transfer Output (TO) is value negatif Rp – 6.909.408,00/ha/year , it’s shows nothing transfer from consument to produsent, value 0,80 Nominal Protection Coefficient on Output (NPCO) or NPCO < 1,  output price not significant for farmers income.

Abstract

MEA market is a great opportunity for our farmers. One commodity that is likely to be competitive in the MEA market is mangosteen. In fact, various problems faced by Gapoktan to plunge into the free market MEA. This study tried to assess the problems faced by Gapoktan Arta Mukti in the face of the MEA market and looking for problem-solving strategies faced. The method used is descriptive survey, with respondents 30 members Gapoktan Arta Mukti. Soft Systems Methodology used to analyze the problem and produce a conceptual model Gapoktan institutional improvement. The results showed there were many constraints faced by farmers groups in the face of the MEA level of motivation among farmers to compete in the MEA is still lacking, the availability of ICT is not yet supporting, international networking has not been formed. But on the other hand the farmer has a carrying capacity of which has been certified organic and GHP as an important factor in commodity Manggis a prerequisite for entry into the free market. To prepare gapoktan jump directly to the required socialization MEA MEA, Quality Supervision, ICT Applications and Preparation of international networks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine consumer preferences of fish crackers product in Sintang city, and to determine which attributes are most considered by consumers.Attributes of the product that were analyzed in this study is the flavor, packaging, price, location, shape, color, and thickness. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling, by conducting interviews with 150 respondents which were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 software with conjoint method. From the seven attributes of fish crackers, the most preferable attributes as the consumers consideration, sequentially are the price attributes, flavor, packaging, location of purchasing the fish crackers, fish crackers shapes, colors and the last one is the thickness of the fish crackers.
