Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and student character Civics value by applying the model of problem-based learning in class VIII-1 SMP 1 Torgamba. This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects are students in the class VIII-1, amounting to 32 people. The object of this research problem-based learning model application in improving student learning outcomes and student character. Based on the results obtained by the first and second cycles can be concluded that the implementation of problem based learning in class VIII-1 to improve student learning outcomes and student scores in the category of successful characters

Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada pelajaran IPS di kelas IV Negeri 067774  Kelurahan Suka Maju Medan Johor T.p. 2012/2013 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada pelajaran IPS di kelas IV SD SD Negeri 067774  Kelurahan Suka Maju Medan Johor Kota Medan T.P. 2012/2013. Sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 067774  Kelurahan Suka Maju Medan Johor T.p. 2012/2013 sebanyak satu kelas yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Objek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa pada pelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Poblem Based Learning di kelas IV Negeri 067774  Kelurahan Suka Maju Medan Johor T.P. 2012/2013 Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam kelas meliputi kegiatan pelaksanaan tindakan kelas (PTK) berupa kegiatan refleksi awal dan melakukan observasi untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas, perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus dilakukan dengan 2 kali pertemuan dan pada setiap akhir siklus dilakukan observasi untuk mengetahui hasil peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa. Hasil penelitian  dpat dikemukakan bahwa kategori persentase keterampilan sosial siswa hasil observasi siklus I pertemuan I termasuk kategori rendah yaitu sebesar 46,67%, siklus I pertemuan II termasuk kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 33,33%, siklus  siklus II pertemuan I termasuk kategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 53,33%, dan siklus II pertemuan II termasuk kategori sangat tinggi yaitu sebesar 90,00%. Dengan demikian dapat dikemukakan kesimpulan bahwa  implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada pelajaran IPS  di kelas IV SD Negeri 067774  Kelurahan Suka Maju Medan Johor Kota Medan T.P. 2012/2013.   Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Keterampilan Sosial Siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of life pharmacies on the introduction of science in children aged 5-6 years old at TK Aisyiyah BustanulAthfal 06 Bromo Medan. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research design. The design in this study was Pre-Experimental Designs, in the form of One-Group PretestPostest Design. The sampling technique is done by random sampling, namely by selecting samples by random method, because the population has the same characteristics in terms of age, namely 5-6 years of age. Data collection techniques by observing with the observation guide instrument. Data analysis with descriptive statistics and t-test to test hypotheses. The results of the analysis show (posttest) that utilizes a better pharmacy / higher compared to the control class. The highest score was in the posttest 14 data, whereas in the 12th pretest. Posttest data averages 10.1, for pretest data 7.5. Based on these results it states that a live pharmacy provides a significant influence on the introduction of children's science that is from the results of hypothesis testing obtained t count = 18.57> t table = 1.729. This shows that there is a significant influence of life pharmacies on the introduction of science of children aged 5-6 in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 06 Bromo Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of learning model and vocabulary mastery toward writing poetry of Grade V student at SDN 066041 Medan. The population of this study is all students of grade V SDN 066041 Medan Year Learning 2016/2017 consisting of four classes with a total of 123 students. Method used in this research is quasi experimental method (quasi experiment) with 2x2 factorial research design. The results of study found that the synectic learning model is very helpful for student writing poetry with the development of student creativity through analogy. The research findings show that (1) There are differences in poetry writing skills taught by the model of synectic and CTL learning in grade V students of SDN 066041 Medan, (2) There is differences of writing poetry skill which has high vocabulary mastery and low vocabulary mastery in grade V students at SDN 066041 Medan, and (3) there is interaction between synectic learning model and vocabulary mastery of writing poetry skill of grade V student at SDN 066041 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dengan menggunakan kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas VI SD Negeri 104205 Tembung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD yang berjumlah 21 orang siswa. Penelitian ini sangatlah diperlukan dalam menerapkan pendekatan kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada mata pelajaran IPA. Data yang diperoleh meliputi, test dan lembar observasi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri, dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi, berdasarkan hasil penelitian siswa diberikan test sebanyak 10 soal. Dari hasil tes awal dapat dilihat bahwa nilai rata-rata mencapai 52,4. Dari 21 siswa terdapat (33,3%) atau  7 orang siswa yang mendapat hasil belajar tuntas dan (66,7%) atau 14 orang siswa masuk dalam kategori tidak tuntas atau tidak berhasil pada pokok bahasan IPA. Dari hasil penelitian siklus I dapat dilihat bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai materi IPA masih rendah, dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 66,2. Dari 21 siswa terdapat (47,6%) atau 10 orang siswa yang mendapat hasil belajar tuntas dan (52,4%) atau 11 orang siswa masuk dalam kategori tidak tuntas atau tidak berhasil pada pokok bahasan IPA. Dari hasil penelitian siklus II dapat dilihat bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai materi IPA sudah mengalami peningkatan yang lebih baik, dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 74,8. dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 71,9. Dari 21 siswa terdapat (90,5%) atau 19 orang siswa yang mendapat hasil belajar tuntas dan (9,5%) atau 2 orang siswa masuk dalam kategori tidak tuntas atau tidak berhasil pada pokok bahasan IPA. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilaksanakan pada sekolah  SMP Eka Prasetya Medan, Jln. Eka Prasetya No.1 Helvetia Medan, Kecamatan Medan Helvetia pada semester genap tahun pembelajaran 2011/2012 dalam rentang waktu enam kali pertemuan, satu siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan yang dilaksanakan di bulan Juni 2012. Waktu belajar mata pelajaran yang disediakan 10 jam pelajaran dalam satu minggu, 1 jam pelajaran dilaksanakan selama 40 menit.  Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Eka Prasetya Medan semester 2 Tahun Pembelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh peneliti   dan dibantu oleh dua orang guru mata pelajaran matematika sebagai observer di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dengan menerapkan metode permainan  pada pokok bahasan bangun datar. Berdasarkan hasil dapat diperoleh bahwa: 1) Melalui penerapan metode permainan dapat meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di sekolah, 2) Melalui penerapan berbantuan tangram dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP kelas VII  SMP Eka Prasetya Medan, dan Nilai rata-rata siswa dalam memahami luas bangun datar pada tes awal 46,8 pada siklus I, dan yang memenuhi KKM hanya 65 dari 40 orang siswa. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan rata?rata  menjadi 75 atau secara klasikalnya 85% dengan menggunakan metode permainan berbantuan tangram. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan nilai rerata hasil observasi terhadap aktifitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 5% dan naik pada siklus II 85%. Rerata pengangkatan hasil belajar matematika dengan tingkat secara signitikag ketuntasan klasikal 85%. Pada siklus I nilai rerata hasil belajar permulaan siswa 5% dengan tintgkat ketuntasan secara klasikal 25% dan dapat memenuhi standartKKM matematika kota medan 65

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain a factual description of teacher?s readiness in the implementation of authentic assessment for attitude domain in elementary schools Tebingtinggi. The problems of this study were the lack of socialization and training provided to the teacher, the teachers were still not optimal in the process of implementing the assessment was still considered very difficult. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative research. The fourth grade teachers at 3 different elementary schools, SD Negeri 163080, SD Negeri 163084 and SD Swasta Inti Nusantara Tebing Tinggi. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis from interviews, observation and documentation showed that the readiness of teachers authentic assessment for attitude domain implementation was still not ready.

Abstract

This study aims to produce social studies based social studies teaching materials on historical relic materials. This type of research is development research with the Dick & Carey development model. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class were higher than the learning outcomes obtained by the control class. This was seen in the results of the pre test and post test conducted by researchers. At the time of the pre-test of 31 students in class IV-A only 13 people (41.94%) completed, while another 18 people (58.06%) did not complete with RRK 60. While in class IV-B out of 34 students only 10 people (29.41%) who finished, as many as 24 more people (70.59%) had not finished with RRK 56.03. At the time of the post-test of class IV-A as many as 28 students (90.32%) had completed only 3 more people (9.68%) who did not complete with RRK 68.71. While from class IV-B as many as 33 people (97.06%) had been completed, the remaining 1 person (2.94%) who had not completed the RRK was 73.82. (2) The validity of the product also gets a very good value, it is proven from the values obtained from the four validators, namely: material validation score 3.62 (90.63%), language validation score 3.75 (93.75%), the media validation score was 3.69 (92.19%), and the learning design validation score was 4.00 (100%).

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the feasibility of civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013 in terms of aspect of the content/ material, the presentation based on a scientific approach, the presentation based on an authentic assessment, language, and graphic and also factors cause of publication of civics textbook which has not appropriate with the demands of Curriculum 2013. The problems is discussed in this study are how feasibility of civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013 reviewed by those various aspects. This study is a descriptive content analysis. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique which is civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013. Data was collected by questionnaire, documentation, interviews, and literature technique. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques, statistical hypothesis with one sample t test, and analysis of qualitative. The results showed: (1) some aspects of the content / material in the textbook are still in need of improvement, (2) textbooks generally has not enough to encourage the learning activities carried out by the scientific approach, (3) component of authentic assessment has been accommodated in the book, (4) some aspects of language are still need of improvement, (5) some aspects of the graphics are still need of improvement, (6) the factors that cause the emergence in the problem of the book are compilation of the textbook is still trapped on cognitive aspects, civics used as a tool to perpetuate power, and the difficulties to implement book valuation with multilevel mechanism. The conclusions acquired in this study are: (1) aspects of conformity contents/ materials and participation skills have not complied the feasibility standards, while civic knowledge, intellectual skills, and civic dispositons have complied the the feasibility standard, (2) aspects of the scientific approach has not complied the feasibility standard, (3) aspects of authentic assessment has complied the feasibility standard, (4) aspects of language has not complied the feasibility standard, (5) aspect of graphics has not complied the feasibility standard, and (6) the factors that cause the emergence in the problem of the book are compilation of the textbook is still trapped on cognitive aspects, civics used as a tool to perpetuate power, and the difficulties to implement book valuation with multilevel mechanism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of experimental methods to improve student learning outcomes in science learning in class V SDN 014648 Padang Mahondang. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students in grade V SDN 014648 Padang Mahondang, totaling 25 students. Data collection instruments used were written tests in the form of multiple choices, observation sheets, observations of teacher and student activities, and photo results. The results of the study stated that learning science through experimental methods can improve learning outcomes in science subjects. This is evident in the initial conditions before completing the action percentage of 28% completeness, the first cycle of 56% completeness percentage, completeness learning cycle I still has not been achieved. In the second cycle the percentage of completeness was 92%. In this second cycle learning completeness has been achieved.
