Abstract

Kualitas lampu pijar secara umum ditentukan dari parameter terangnya lampu, bentuk bola lampu, dan bentuk filament yang berpijar saat lampu menyala. Jika lampu pijar pada tahap jauh dari ketiga kriteria tersebut maka lampu dikatakan tidak berkulitas dan dinyatakan reject. Penelitian dilakukan pada mesin exhaust departemen produksi lampu pijar PT GE Lighting Indonesia, data yang digunakan adalah jumlah produk jadi dan produk cacat di mesin exhaust, serta Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kecacatan. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara menghitung tingkat dan peluang kecacatan, menghitung DPMO, membuat paretto diagram, dan Fishbone diagram. Nilai sigma dari mesin exhaust berada pada kisaran 4,6 σ, nilai ini cukup bagus untuk proses produksi namun perlu ditingkatkan melalui perbaikan-perbaikan lain secara terus-menerus. Kecacatan paling banyak dijumpai pada mesin exhaust adalah patah poli dengan prosentase 69,8%. Faktor utama penyebab kecacatan adalah setting mesin yang kurang tepat dan bagian poli sendiri rapuh karena suhu pembakaran dari proses sebelumnya kurang tepat.

Abstract

Based on Trans Semarang Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) traffic accident data, it is known that the Trans Semarang BRT still often experiences traffic accidents. Corridor I Trans Semarang with the Mangkang-Penggaron route service area is the Corridor with the highest accident rate compared to other corridors. The high number of accidents occurs because of human error. To solve these problems, in this study using the HEART and SHERPA methods. The HEART method is used to find out what activities constitute critical activities that have the potential to cause accidents and also the probability of human error for each critical activity. Then the SHERPA method is used to strengthen the answers of the HEART method and also to determine recommendations for improvement to fix the existing problem. After conducting research and data processing using the HEART and SHERPA methods, it is known that sub-task 6.4 be careful when driving is a sub-task with the highest probability of human error is 0.549. Furthermore, the subtask was given recommendations for improvement in the form of zero accident socialization to all BRT Corridor I Trans Semarang drivers and to make a particular lane for BRT, especially Corridor I so that the road is separated from other private or public vehicles.

Abstract

The Study of supply chain risk in shallot commodity needs to take more concern. This is related to the increasing number of risks that faced in different the Industrial and business world. Based on these risks, currently the condition of the Shallot commodity supply chain performance is less than expected. In Relations of existence of risks in the supply chain, risk management plays an important role in keeping the supply chain system in order to be not disrupted. Risk Management is the part. Risk management is an integral part of the management process that runs continuously to minimize losses either increase opportunities or opportunities. This risk management process starts from the process of risk identification, risk assessment, mitigation, monitoring and evaluation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the risk of supply chain shallot commodity. The Step that has to do is risk identification, risk analyze, and risk evaluation of supply chain. House of Risk (HOR) model is the method that used to identification, analyze, and evaluation the risk of shallot commodity.

Abstract

Population growth rate and urban lifestyle have an impact on increasing the volume of waste. The problem is related to the concept of Municipal Waste Collection (MWC) for waste management. Waste management considers transportation and distribution from the Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) to the location of the Final Disposal Site (TPA). Routing and allocation for waste disposal in the urban area gave a big concern for the society. This study will raise the issue of allocation, distribution and transportation to support overall waste management in urban areas. This study will use Integer Linear Programming approach for modeling the selection of the final location of TPA by considering the distance from each TPS to the TPA. This study also considers the conversion value of the weight of municipal solid waste in Yogyakarta City. In the practice, Yogyakarta City has 1 TPA with 73 TPS. Authors generate 1 new TPA as an alternative. This study will give an alternative allocation, distribution and transportation from each TPS which optimized the capacity of TPA.

Abstract

Accreditation is a government assessment for a Higher Education. Based on the regulation of the minister of education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 87 of 2014 article 6, the validity period of the accreditation status and ranking of accredited study programs and tertiary institutions is 5 (five) years. During this time, the institution must prepare the documents used for accreditation. In 2019, the government has implemented changes to the standard accreditation assessment criteria of an institution, the evaluation of accreditation documents refers to several documents, one of them is Study Program Performance Sheet (LKPS) which is recapitulated in an excel. This research focuses on data integration at LKPS. In the LKPS excel data there is a relationship between the data with one another. One of the data that has a relationship is data related to lecturers with tridharma activities. Given that the application of this new rule began in 2019, this research focuses on designing the concept offline, namely Database integration made using Microsoft Access. LKPS analysis results have determined that there are 30 tables of which there are 22 integrated tables and 8 tables that do not have integration.

Abstract

Brass material is widely used by SME industries in Indonesia including the gamelan industry, the pottery industry, and the handicraft industry. This research aims to improve the quality of brass material which is a combination of copper and nickel material. The ability of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia in processing mining raw materials with good quality is still low. There has not been a specific effort to improve quality through research and development. The long-term goal of this research is to build excellence in the material field in Indonesian industries. This advantage is very important for industries in Indonesia to compete globally.The method used is a 3 variable factorial design (temperature, temper time, cooling media) with each of 3 levels (33) to determine the most influential factors and improve product quality so that the highest level of product hardness. Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have a very important role in the development of the Indonesian economy. Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is one of the provinces that has many SMEs. The SMEs has the potential to penetrate the international market, one of which is a wooden handicraft SMEs. Woodencraft can be used as a cluster because it fulfills three factors that enable it to compete in the international market, namely the factor of global market needs, the factor of superior products, and potential SME product factors. However, woodencraft SMEs still face obstacles in product penetration abroad, namely obstacles from internal SMEs, the government, and international markets. The solution offered to help woodencraft SMEs to go international a program called Integrated Woodencraft Cluster, which is a cluster of woodencraft SMEs that integrates supply chain management (SCM) based distribution systems with four main lines (suppliers, production, sales, and information), internet-based information systems, and Just In Time (JIT) principle. The program involves local government, civil service, wood handicraft SMEs, suppliers of raw materials, and academics. The advantages of Integrated Woodencraft Clusters compared to conventional clusters include having a clear vision for exporting production, a structured managerial system, having an export agency, supplying raw materials, clear lines of information, and being able to facilitate all SME woodencraft, both on a small scale and intermediate.

Abstract

Kalasan Fried Chicken Industry Center is one of the home industries producing fried chicken in Yogyakarta. Initial measurements obtained from the working environment conditions of occupational health and safety are still considered to be less than comfortable and in accordance with standards. As a result of lack of lighting and high room temperature, workers often experience eye fatigue, dizziness, frequent loss of focus and poor quality fried chicken production. Occupational health and safety according to the standard, it is necessary to improve the lighting aspect with the Lumen Method (Lumen Method or Zonal Cavacity Method, ZCM), the physical environment in terms of temperature is designed by increasing the fan capacity needed by the work environment so that the number and type of fans with quality can be determined the right air for the room. The lighting needs of the work environment are 9 24 watt lights and an exhaust fan and sufficient air volume. The results of the implementation were able to increase the level of lighting and temperature in accordance with work comfort.

Abstract

Changes in leaders in an organization are common and will affect all units from the management level to implementation. This is related to the leadership style and organizational culture developed by new leaders, especially in terms of motivating and providing job satisfaction in achieving the best performance. This research is explanatory research that proves a causal relationship between work motivation, transformational leadership, organizational culture, and employee job satisfaction as a mediating variable on employee performance. The study also aims to see whether or not two or more variables have a relationship, and how significant the relationship is and how the relationship is going. In this study, to analyze and find out the significant level, and the relationship between variables, the structural equation model analysis method is used. The results of the study on 385 respondents who were a sample of research in educational foundations that shelter educational institutions from early childhood education to university level that are spread in almost all regions of Indonesia showed the need for special attention to work motivation which did not significantly influence job satisfaction and satisfaction work does not mediate employee performance against motivation, leadership, and organizational culture variables. Other results indicate that the variables of work motivation, organizational culture, and transformational leaders significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

The problem in this research is to determine the criteria and criteria weights from the suppliers. PT. KBP is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of export shoes with the main raw material for leather and supporting raw material for heels. The products produced are various kinds of fashion model shoes for adult women, including boots, mid boots, sneakers, and sandals. During this time, the company set suppliers based on the price offered and the number of goods. This study aims to establish the criteria and sub-criteria used as aspects of consideration for selecting suppliers based on company conditions to produce the best supplier decisions. The method used in this study is AHP and TOPSIS. AHP is used as a weighting of criteria and sub-criteria, while TOPSIS is used to determine alternative priorities that are close to positive ideal solutions. This study uses seven criteria and 17 sub-criteria. The results with the AHP method obtained weighted price criteria 18.2%, quality 28.7%, delivery 11.1%, flexibility 9.9%, responsive 9.0%, performance history 10.9%, and warranty and claim policy 12.2% whereas the TOPSIS method was obtained for PT. B is 0.710, and for supplier, G heels are 0.537. Thus PT. KBP can prioritize PT. B, as the main supplier.
