Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual learning media windows movie maker based on the ability to analyze the history of science students in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro second semester of the school year 2016/2017. This research uses quasi-experimental research (quasi exsperiment) with type Nonequivalent control group design. the sample was selected using random cluster sampling (taking classes at random). This research activity using audiovisual media based on windows movie maker where the ability to analyze historical results of students using audio-visual media-based learning windows movie maker is higher than the use of media power point. This can be evidenced mealui the acquisition value of the average post-test between the experimental class students and students of the control class. That the average yield of the ability to analyze the history of the experimental class and the control class earn 78.47 72.55 based on the average value obtained that the average value of 5.92 experimental class larger than the control class. Based on these calculations it can be concluded that the experimental class learning higher than the control class. The conclusion of this study is no influence of the use of audio-visual learning media windows movie maker based on the ability to analyze History Class X Science Semester at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Metro in the academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract

This research aims to description and analysis about the historical of Perguruan Rakyat School (Volksuniversiteit) in Jakarta (1928). The research of this special issue of  the  historical base of Perguruan Rakyat. This study in order to critical history method there are 5 steps such as: (1)  Topic selection, this is first step in a research to certain issue will investigates,    (2)Heuristic, this is step to assembling  the historical sources, (3) Critical Source, it is the research of tracks or historical source which assembling so we found the authentic source and accurate, (4) Interpretation, this is the analysis of historical sources where it accociated and verificated, (5) Historigraphy, this is to telling of synthesis from chronological research. The results of this research are: First, Perguruan Rakyat builded the base of Sumpah Pemuda and the effect from ethical-policy decisions. Second, appear of nationalism is base to offering the understand for societies. Third, education is the  effective step to offering the nationalism concept for societies. And Finally, the figures are the graduated of Perhimpunan Indonesia

Abstract

The history room is the important component in history teaching learning process. The history room can assist the teacher in giving a deep understanding about the student history awareness. But, in this case the using of history room by the teacher in teaching learning process isn’t optimal because of the room is limited. The limitation craeted some problem to the teacher so the socialization in managing and using the history room as a media in teaching and learning history was needed; and in the end  hopefully the student history awareness can be improved. The methods used to introduce the history room were explanation and discussion. The methods choosed as the first step because most of the teacher didn’t have enough information in using the history room as the media in teaching and learning history.  The result of this activity showed that the teacher understanding about history room improved. The understanding caused the teacher had a willing in developing and using the history room as a media in teaching and learning history. Although, there were some obstacles appeared in applying the history room in school, one of them was the support from the school but the communication with the school decision maker will be done to solve it.

Abstract

This study aims to menanalisis needs in developing learning modules integrated historical value religious character. Modules developed implementing integrated learning religious character so as to increase cognitive and affective aspects as well as foster appropriate behavior with Islamic values. Research method used in this research and development. The results showed that the curriculum is being developed today started out (in 2015) is the college curriculum (KPT), which refers to the Indonesian National qualifications framework (KKNI). Teaching materials are still not loading points the meaning of events (ibrah). Discussions undertaken by students only to the discussion of the material, while the value-laden character contained in the incident have not been able to convey. Models in the module that is taking advan theory organizer. The module was developed by entering a value-laden Islamic character of the events the Muhammadiyah development in 1912-1923. The module is equipped with exercises and questions and answers so that students can measure their own abilities. The test results show that our modules feasibility quality modules that are in both criteria with an average value of 78.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are 1) Describe the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 on teaching of history, 2) to explain the principal visual, history teacher, and students regarding the implementation of the curriculum 2013, 3) to formulate the factors that support and hinder the implementation of Curriculum 2013, Where this research is a study with qualitative research with descriptive approach. The data collection technique is to conduct in-depth interviews observation, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysis performed by the researchers is to perform the first reducing the data after its done after the presentation of data that do verifikasion. The results showed that a history teacher in the eleventh grade curriculum mengimplemntasikan 2013 quite well. This can be seen with the preparation of RPP conducted by the teacher never mind in accordance with the demands contained in the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia 103 2014. In the process of learning history teachers already apply learning with the scientific approach which consists of observing, ask, gather information, associate and communicate. This approach aims to guide students actively following the learning process. Besides scoring system using authentic assessment includes an assessment of attitudes, knowledge and skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of media on the ability to think a chronological timeline of history teaching students of class XI IPS SMAN 2 Metro Academic Year 2016-2017. This research uses quasi-experimental research (quasi exsperiment), while the design (design) research used in this study is Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS SMAN 2 second semester Metro, research using sampling methods clusterrondom sampling. Thus, in this study researchers randomly pick a class (any) in the sampling. Class XI IPS 2 by the number of students 30 as an experimental class, the class XI IPS 1 number of students grade 28 as a trial, and class XI IPS 4 with the number of students 31 as the control class. There were positive and significant influence on media use a chronological timeline of the history of students thinking ability Class XI IPS SMAN 2 Metro. Based on the analysis of the findings of instructional media use a chronological timeline of the history student thinks that has been obtained, it is concluded that the selected learning media timeline positive effect of increasing students ability to think chronological history.

Abstract

The involvement of a handful of Chinese society in the political movement around 1963 in West Kalimantan is an interesting thing to study. They assembled in PGRS-Paraku organization which was originally an opposition movement to launch “Ganyang  Malaysia”. But when the political map in Indonesia changed, PGRS-Paraku later declared a forbidden organization to be suppressed. This gave rise to a great conflict between Dayak and Chinese Communists. The Chinese that not a communist in land face of the impact. They had evacuated to safe places, especially in Singkawang. This incident resulted in the refugees have to start their lives over again due to leave their lives in the inland is sufficient before.
