Abstract

Ethical decision making has become a critical issue as the pressure to improve the behavior of successful salespeople in all the current economic conditions. The values contained in the employees will affect the decision making of individuals or employees that will have an impact on organizational performance. Moral or cognitive moral is at the core of the most ethical decision-making models in the marketing and management. This study examined the effect of cognitive moral behavioral performance and  outcome performance of the sales force and influence behavioral performance in sales force outcome performance. By using simple linear regression method obtained  results that the  hypothesis that cognitive moral effect on behavioral performance of salespeople, singnifikan effect (b = -0.296; sig 0.000) supported. Hypothesis 2 is not supported, which suggests that moral considerations affect the outcome performance in this study were not significant (b = -0.122; sig .148). The next hypothesis states that behavioral performance positive influence on the outcome  performance of the support (b = 0.217; sig 0.009). To obtain the results of an individual's performance is good and responsible, it must enhance or improve the behavior of decision-making is based on cognitive moral salespeople. Performance results of the sales force increased when the behavior of salespeople work better and responsible.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to identify the influence of product quality (X1) and service quality (X2) towards King Cake’s customer satisfaction (Y). The population of this research is King Cake’s customers. The sample size is 63 respondents. Respondents are selected using non-probability sampling, which is Purposive Sampling. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The validity and reliability testing to each indicator is taken before performing the multiple linear regression analysis. The research shows that  product quality (X1) and service quality (X2) significantly influences King Cake’s customer satisfaction (Y). The finding shows that service quality (X2) gives more significant value towards customer satisfaction (Y) than product quality (X1) does.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand consumer perception of color, typography, graphical form and picture at product packaging using multidimensional scaling. Result from this research successfully understands consumer perception to color, typography, graphical form and picture at product packaging. This research concluded that positioning product simply influences packaging design. So packaging company cannot disregard graphical element in design packaging because correct combination between graphical elements of packaging can assist company to create packaging that is not only interesting but also can communicate visually carefully. Result of research is expected able to become benchmark for packaging company in making packaging design.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain two empirical proofs, are about the difference of total portfolio risk between internationally diversification and domestically diversification, then, the influence of the number of shares in the portfolio toward the total risk of portfolio. The model analysis  used in this study is the difference t test on average two independent sample groups and for effect estimation, using simple regression equation. There were 21 blue chips stocks( LQ45 Indonesia;DAX30 German;FTSE100 UK;DJA – USA) choosen randomly, and used as sampel for both of internationally diversification and domestically diversification within period beginning January until December 2011. The results show that there are a difference in the total risk of the portfolio which is generated through internationally diversification and domestically diversification .Total  risk of portofolio internationally diversification is smaller than total risk of portfolio  domestically diversification,  and the number of shares in portfolio affect significant negative toward the total risk of  portfolio.

Abstract

The complication of inventory is a crucial problem for the company because inventory is one of the valuable assets for the company. The existence of inventory control is needed so the inventory levels that exist within the company is not in very large (optimal) therefore the costs incurred by the company can be suppressed as minimum as possible. PT NM is a company engaged in spare parts, especially branded cars in West Jakarta. The level of inventories of goods owned by  these  companies is high because The company did not want to experience stock out of stock but on one side the stock is large enough so the costs incurred  by  companies  such as storage costs of goods becomes even greater. In order to control inventory levels, this study uses a Markov Chain method that can identify optimal inventory level and the expectation of profits earned per month by making estimates of the future demand a previous demand. From the research results shows expectation of profit of each state starting from state 2 to state 10 is Rp 13.146,98921; Rp 12.246,94064; Rp 11.346,61466; Rp 10.444,64569; Rp 9.534,074035; Rp 8.584,408534; Rp 7.484,413248; Rp 5.913,288143; Rp 3.211,609986,-. While the profit expectations that earned by the company per month is Rp 694.233,333, and the optimal inventory level is 50.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to give a proof that the factors of style of thinking, global mindset, and personal finance management are the predictors for the entrepreneurial intentions. Through the distribution of questioners for 150 respondents, the results show that style of thinking and global mindset gave significant effects on personal finance management and it was also gave significant effect on entrepreneurial intentions. In the final section, the limitation of the research was also discussed which can be a follow-up by other researchers.
