Abstract

Muslimah salon means a beauty salon business which is run according to the elements of Islamic business. Not only the label but also the application and practice must also be based on Islamic teachings. This study is entitled An overview of the Islamic economy of the Muslim salon business in Medan. The purpose of this study is to explain how the Muslim salon business according to the Islamic economy, to explain the application and practice of Muslim salon in the city of Medan.  The purpose of this study is to explain how the Muslim salon business according to the Islamic economy, to explain the application and practice of Muslim salon in the city of Medan. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, the research subjects were determined through purposive sampling techniques. The object of this research is about the business of Muslim salon according to Islamic economics. While the subjects in this study were 3 salon owners and 5 informants who were each customer and salon employee. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in the salon business applying the rules and practices of care in accordance with shariah, honest in managing the salon, reliable in terms of care, specifically for female consumers both Muslim and non-Muslim, do not accept male customers or employees, no conduct treatment practices that are prohibited in Islam, change the image of salons, closed places, prioritize halal and quality products, do not use illicit substances, provide religious care of this type based on ornate principles that are permitted in Islam, prioritize Islamic economic values in do business. The salon business labeled Muslim city of Medan in running its business is in conformity with what has been outlined by the criteria in the implementation of Islamic economics.

Abstract

So far many people have assumed that debt is the only way to start a business, so assessing the normal rate for debt which is mediocre, in other words this mindset will make the person live accustomed to debt without regard to the long-term impact long due to debt interest. Therefore, the existence of the community without usury (MTR) in the city of Medan has the aim to change the information and mindset of the people to no longer owe and free from the bondage of interest/usury. This study aims to address the issue of how to understand interest/usury according to the MTR community and want to find out what strategies MTR uses to socialize the anti-usury movement. This research is a qualitative study using field research methods in the MTR community. The data source used is the primary data obtained from the interview and documentation process. The results of this study are: first, according to the MTR community, usury is taking additional assets that are oppressive. Riba is an act that violates the commands of Allah SWT which at this time many people practice it. This usury practice is inseparable from the lack of public knowledge about usury and interest law. Second, there are several strategies used to socialize the anti-usury movement, namely programs that include consultation, assistance and study.

Abstract

Some of the problems faced by small businesses most importantly are capital problems for business development. Because of the difficulty of accessing capital, business development is hampered which results in businesses run by business actors not running smoothly, BMT Pradesa Mitra Mandiri provides solutions by providing financing to prospective customers who lack capital to run a business. This study aims to analyze the effect of financing provided by BMT Pradesa Mitra Mandiri on the development of customer business before and after getting financing, business development indicators in this study are, how the venture capital, sales turnover and business profits after and before getting financing. This type of research used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study used a non-probability method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample used is the customer members who get financing from BMT Pradesa Mitra Mandiri with a sample of 40 respondents. Data collection technique using questionnaires, interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis techniques through validity, reliability, and Paired T-test with SPSS 18. The results showed that the funding provided by BMT Pardesa Mitra Mandiri greatly influenced the development of customer business in the area of Langkat District, as evidenced by the results of the study showing that venture capital, sales turnover and business profits had increased between before and after getting financing from BMT Pradesa Mitra Mandiri.

Abstract

Investors tend to calculate the company's ability to manage profits from assets and capital owned will affect the earnings value reflected in the price of a company's stock. Price Earning Ratio (PER) or also called earnings multiplier approach is a popular approach that uses earnings value to estimate intrinsic value. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression data analysis using spss 21 software. With companies listed on The Jakarta Islamic Index as a research sample shows that the ROA variable has a significant effect on PER seen from the t test where t counts 5.179> t table 1.658 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and with a coefficient value of 0.875. ROE variable has a significant effect on PER seen from t test where t counts 4.191> t table 1.658 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and with a coefficient value of 0.716. Simultaneously the ROA and ROE variables have a significant effect on PER with the value of Fcount 72.260> Ftable 3.08 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of variables of interest, self-potential, with the decision of students to choose the study program of Takaful insurance. The research method used is quantitative research method with primary data obtained from the questionnaire data measured using Likers scale. The data of this study were collected by using questionnaires which were then processed by using multiple linear regression test with the help of SPSS 17 program. The result of this study stated that the interest variable (X1) correlated positively and significantly to the selection of sharia study program with a partial correlation of 0.358 with p <0 , 05., self-potential variable (X2) correlated positively and significantly to the selection of sharia study program with partial correlation of 0408 with p <0,05, while together with the variable of interest and self potential also positive influence toward the selection of Sharia insurance program evidenced by the coefficient of Frag = 58.654 where p <0.05.

Abstract

Algorithm is a classification algorithm C4.5 decision tree  data  type (decision tree). C4.5 decision tree algorithm is built in three phases, namely the selection of attributes as root, create a branch for each value and divide the cases in the branch. These stages will be repeated for each branch until all cases the branches have the same class. Of the completion of the decision tree will produce some rule or knowledge of a case. In this thesis, the author classifies the criteria of non-Muslim customers save money in Islamic banks. The resulting rule greatly determined by the input variables in the set such as gender, age, religion, education level, employment and decision variables, namely customer saving and not saving. Abstract

Changes in the globalization of the ASEAN economic community, we are ready not to be prepared to face in the pattern of internal and external environmental changes globally in ASEAN where the Asian economy is determined by free markets or mutual competition to grab the market at the top level globally agreed by ASEAN countries before. The Indonesian government must be able to focus and care for human resources, especially local employment (employee empowerment) with the quality of the workforce in line with the needs of the competitive advantage of the organization / company. For this reason, the parties involved in terms of government, education and society are moreover discouraged or design programs in the future, one of which is to re-audit resources that have standardized other countries, so that regional competition is beneficial for our country.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influential strategies in the development of Ucok Durian's business. In this study, there were several strategies that were carried out in the preparation of research. Program development strategies to determine and achieve company goals and implement their mission. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach, using SWOT analysis method, analysis made to know the strength, weakness (weakness), opportunity (opportunity) that open to company and some threats (Treath) which is identified. From the results of research based on interviews found that durian shoot is a strategy ranging from improving product quality, determine the characteristics of the product, and also determine the model dansu of the products it sells. In the price, Durian pricing sets the price starting from positioning the product through price and quality and also setting price and benefit for the consumer. At the strategy stage, Durian idioms choose places ranging from choosing a strategic location, a comfortable place, and meeting places for consumer convenience. In the promotion strategy, Durian urges a promotional strategy ranging from founders of billboards or banners, installing branding, mascots and slogans, and using social media for online promotion. Based on SWOT Analysis, durian ucok business has weakness (Weaknesses) that is promotion that is not used specifically, do not use technology, and goods are sold only one product. However, the durian cuttings still have strength (Strenght) to improve the condition. To develop businesses that need to be done is to maintain product quality, increase service, and increase product sales.

Abstract

Poverty is a complex and multidimensional social problem. Facing this acute social problem, the Qur'an explains the terms and how to solve poverty problems. Therefore this study aims to find out the meaning of poverty. The approach in this study uses a descriptive approach by reducing data, presenting and concluding data. As for the results in the study that poverty in the view of the Qur'an is more dominant structural than cultural. This means that poverty is caused more by a system of social and political structures. Because poverty is more dominant in its structural nature, the Qur'an provides a multidimensional solution in order to overcome it, namely in the form of endeavors for each individual, taa'wun (help to help) fellow human beings through the ZISWAF concept and the form of cooperation contract, then the role of government in providing and encourage the availability of opportunities for those who want to improve their standard of living). The Qur'an builds motivation for social care, requires responsibility and social security both in terms of ethics and in terms of means of social care application, fair wealth distribution, law enforcement, and warns of the negative effects of poverty and mental fear of poverty.

Abstract

A business that is growing very rapidly is a food business or known as culinary, one of the culinary places is a restaurant. A restaurant is an effort to provide food and beverage services equipped with equipment and equipment for the process of making, storing and serving in a fixed place that does not move. To give satisfaction to consumers, companies must be able to sell goods or services with the best quality at a reasonable price in accordance with what is obtained. The company also carries out strategies to shape customer satisfaction by providing quality services. With good quality will encourage consumers to establish good relations with companies such as the Caribbean Seafood restaurant Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction Caribbean Seafood Medan restaurants. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. The study population was 35 Caribbean Seafood Medan consumers. The results of this study indicate that customer satisfaction occurs due to a positive and significant influence on the two independent variables tested, namely product quality and service quality to customer satisfaction through t test and F test, while the R Square number shows 96.6% is a variation of satisfaction consumers of the Caribbean Seafood Medan restaurant which can be explained by the two independent variables, the rest explained by other factors outside of this study.
