Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbandingan jerami dan kotoran sapi terhadap profil suhu dan karakteristik pupuk kompos yang dihasilkan. Percobaan dilakukan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan tiga level perlakuan perbandingan antara porsi bahan jerami dan kotoran sapi. Sedangkan perlakuan yang digunakan sebagai kontrol hanya menggunakan bahan jerami. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap dua hal yaitu profil suhu selama proses pengomposan dan karakteristik kompos yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan kotoran sapi meningkatkan suhu proses pengomposan yaitu suhu fase mesofilik (30-35?C). kompos yang dihasilkan memiliki karakteristik antara lain pH rata-rata 7.3, kadar air rata-rata 5.5%, dan C-organik rata-rata 26,9%. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of straw and cow manure comparison to the temperature profile and the characteristics of the producing compost. The experiments ware performed using a randomized block design (RBD) with three levels of treatment comparisons between the composition of straw and cow dung. Whereas the treatment was used as control only using straw materials. Observations conducted on two things the temperature profile during the composting process and the characteristics of the resulting Compost. The results showed the addition of manure increases the temperature of the composting process is temperature mesophilic phase (30-35?C). Compost produced has characteristics include an average pH 7.3, average content 5.5% and C-organic 26.9%.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the distribution pattern of subsidized fertilizer in Klungkung regency, as well as to determine the distribution pattern of subsidized fertilizer that produced the minimum distribution cost. The research method used in the study, were a survey, measuring the distance and collect secondary data. The survey was conducted to official distributors to obtain the amount of farmer groups which recieved the subsidized fertilizer. The information of farmer groups’ distance to the official distributors, received fertilizer, and the cost spent to distribute the fertilizer were needed to calculate the unit cost of distribution. All of those information were obtained by field survey and direct measurement in location. The data obtained then was analyzed by applying three methods of transportation that was North West Corner Method, the Lowest Cost Method and The Vogel's Approximation Method. The results indicated that the methods produced different costs in which the minimum distribution cost by Rp 6.065.846,00 was produces by the Lowest Cost Method. The value of the result is vsame with the transportation minimum cost that produced by the distribution pattern of subsidized fertilizer at this time in Klungkung regency, so it can be concluded that the distribution pattern of subsidized fertilizer in Klungkung regency at this time is meeting with the all criteria distribution pattern with transportation minimum cost.

Abstract

The measurement of EC can be conducted in two ways, namely electromagnetic induction and direct contact. This study using capacitive direct contact. The aims of this study were to determine the relationship of configurations shape each other of electrode to the measurements performance, and to determine to treatment that has the best performance. The study was started by designing the electrodes then continued by functional test and performance test. The treatments used was electrodes shape of ring, hair and triangle, and electrodes configuration of each shape was 2, 4, 6 and 8. The electrode probe was inserting into the soil with the depth of 20 cm to get the frequency and at the same time soil sample was collected for analyzed in the laboratory to get the EC values. Based on those data the relationship of between soil frequency and EC were then analyzed. The results indicated that the best performance was hair shapes with 2 configuration. The equation of soil frequency and EC was EC = 0.080590 F(soil) - 4.48289 with R2 = 0.851, RMSE = 0.066, stability = 0.02 and respond time = 7.41 second.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola historis penjualan masing-masing varian produk, indeks special event yang berpengaruh terhadap permintaan dan model peramalan (forecasting) yang paling sesuai digunakan sebagai dasar perencanaan produksi produk Coca-Cola 200 ml, Sprite 295 ml di PT. CCBI Balinusa. Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh pola penjualan bulanan pada masing-masing produk tahun 2015 mengalami fluktuasi dari waktu ke waktu. Data penjualan tertinggi produk Coca-Cola 200 ml terjadi pada bulan September dan Sprite 295 ml terjadi pada bulan Desember. Sedangkan data penjualan terendah pada produk Coca-Cola 200 ml dan Sprite 295 ml terjadi pada bulan Juli. Indeks special event tertinggi untuk produk CocaCola 200 ml yaitu pada Natal dan tahun baru (I=2,43), terendah yaitu Idul Adha (I=1,42) dan Sprite 295 ml tertinggi pada Natal dan tahun baru (I=2,17), terendah pada Waisak (I=1,47). Model peramalan terbaik untuk produk Coca-Cola 200 ml adalah eksponential smoothing eventbased (ESEB) dengan ?=0,3 dan untuk produk Sprite 295 ml adalah eksponential smoothingevent based (ESEB) dengan ?=0,1. This research aims to determine the historical pattern of sales of each product variant, the index of special events that influence the demand and forecasting models are most appropriate to use as the basis for planning the production of Coca-Cola 200 ml and Sprite 295 ml in PT. CCBI Balinusa. From these studies obtained pattern on the monthly sales of each product in 2015 fluctuated from time to time. The highest sales of Coca-Cola 200 ml occurred in September, and Sprite 295 ml occurred in December. While the lowest sales data on Coca-Cola 200 ml and Sprite 295 ml occurred in July. Index top special event for Coca-Cola 200 ml is on Christmas and New Year (I=2.43), the lowest was Idul Adha (I=1.42) and Sprite 295 ml highest at Christmas and New Year (I=2.17), the lowest in the Waisak (I=1.47). The best forecasting model for Coca-Cola 200 ml is an exponential smoothing event based (ESEB) with ? = 0.3 and for Sprite 295 ml is an exponential smoothing event based with ? = 0.1.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari ketinggian akuisisi dengan kualitas hasil foto udaraterbaik. Akuisisi foto udara dilakukan dengan drone. Ketinggian akuisisi foto udara adalah 10m,20m dan 30m. foto udara yang diambil merupakan foto tanaman padi varietas ciherang denganumur 100 hari setelah tanam. Analisis detail foto udara dilakukan dengan proses zooming danbinerisasi citra. Proses zooming menggunakan software Adobe Photoshop Cs6. Proses binerisasicitra menggunakan Software MatLab 2013. Ketinggian akuisisi 10m memiliki kualitas detailterbaik. Aim of this research is to find aerial photography acquisition altitude with the best quality image. The acquisition of aerial photography was done by using drones. Altitude of aerial photography acquisition was 10m, 20m and 30m. Aerial photos taken a image of ciherang rice varieties with the age of 100 days after planting. Detailed analysis of aerial photography was done by zooming and image binary. Zooming process was used Adobe Photoshop CS6 software. Binary imagery processed using MatLab 2013 software. The best quality of photo detail was obtained at 10m acquisition altitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to measure the quality of dried pineapple pulp resulting from pre-drying treatment and method of drying, which done using randomized complete block design with factorial experiments. The first factor was pre-drying treatment consisted of two treatments, namely with and without blanching and the second one was method of drying such as control, vacuum drying at 60 oC,70o C, and 80 oC. The experiment was repeated three times. The results of the experiment showed that the best treatment resulting dried pineapple pulp with the highest organoleptic values was interaction between fruit pulp without blanching and employing vacuum drying at 70oC. The organoleptic values of this dried pineapple pulp based on its colour, crispiness, and taste were 5.70, 4,20, and 5.35, respectively.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the concentration of dextrin and tween 80 in the drying process by using dryer cabinet and determine the concentration of dextrin and tween 80 which can speed up the drying process of aloe vera gel. This study used a Randomized Complete Design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration of dextrin (10%, 14%, 18%, 22%) and the second factor was the concentration of tween 80 (0.3%, 0.4%, 0.5%) with the drying temperature of 70°C. The experiment was repeated three times. Observations were made every 2 hours until the sample weight did not decrease. Variables which observed were rate of drying, whiteness, yield, and pH of flour aloe vera. The results showed that concentrations of dextrin and tween 80 significantly affected water content, the degree of whiteness of the flour was affected by concentrations of dextrin. Treatment interaction between dextrin concentration and tween 80 did not significantly affect all parameters observed. The addition of dextrin will slow the drying process, on the contrary the addition of tween 80 will speed up the drying process. The highest yield at amount of 10.99% was obtained from the treatment interaction of 22% dextrin with 0.3% tween 80. The degree of acidity (pH) of the flour at 4.00 which was the highest value of pH was yielded form the treatment interaction of 10% dextrin with 0.5% tween 80. In this study, the best treatment resulting aloe vera flour that approaching the standards of quality of Terry Laboratories was a treatment interaction of 22% dextrin with 0.3% tween 80. The flour had a water content of 8.68%, the degree of whiteness 50.51, yield 10.99%, and the degree of acidity (pH) 3.65.

Abstract

Jeruk siam (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan provinsi Bali. Namun demikian, fakta menunjukan bahwa sistem agribisnis jeruk siam saat ini belum memberikan kemakmuran kepada petani skala kecil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui struktur, mekanisme, dan kelembagaan rantai pasokan jeruk siam di Kelompok Tani Gunung Mekar Kabupaten Gianyar; dan (2) Mengetahui prioritas rekomendasi dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja sistem manajemen rantai pasokan jeruk siam. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap dan setiap tahap membutuhkan responden serta alat analisis yang berbeda-beda. Tahap pertama (mengetahui struktur, mekanisme, kelembagaan rantai pasokan) menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan tahap kedua (mengetahui prioritas rekomendasi) menggunakan metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process (AHP) sebagai alat analisisnya. Pengambilan sampel petani dilakukan secara purposive sampling dan sampel setelah petani ditentukan dengan metode bola salju (snowball sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat tiga pola distribusi jeruk siam dengan mekanisme rantai pasokan yang bersifat tradisional. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja manajemen rantai pasokan jeruk siam, kriteria meningkatkan akses informasi, alternatif reliabilitas, dan indikator kinerja kualitas produk menjadi prioritas yang paling berperan penting. Siam citrus (Citrus nobilis var. microcarpa) is one of Bali's main commodities. However, the fact showed that agribusiness system of Siam citrus is not profitable enough for small scale farmers group. This research aimed to; (1) acknowledge the structure, mechanisms, and the systematic supply chain of Siam citrus in the Gunung Mekar Farmers Group of Gianyar Regency; and (2) know the priorities recommendations in order to increased supply chains performance of Siam citrus. This research study consisted of two stages, and each process required different respondents and analysis tools as well. The first stage (to know the structure, mechanisms, and systematic of the supply chain) is using the descriptive qualitative analysis, and the second stage (to know the recommendation priorities) is using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP) as the analysis tool. The sampling on farmer levels conducted purposively and the next sampling level determined by snowball sampling method. The research resulted three distribution patterns of Siam citrus with traditional supply chain mechanism basic. The improvement of performance supply chain management on Siam citrus, information accessibility improvement, alternative reliability, and performance indicator of product quality became the most important priority.

Abstract

Divider structure (tembuku) numbak and ngerirun is one of structure that used as divider in Subak water irrigation. Diversion of flow in the tembuku ngerirun was causing reduction that influenced by the difference speed and makes the difference rate of flow with tembuku numbak. The purposes of this research were: (1) to determine the level of the pemias coefficient on tembuku numbak and ngerirun, and (2) to calculate the dimensions of the tembuku numbak and ngerirun that review by pemias aspects. The real rate of flow analysed by measuring the width and height of water on the tembuku and the must rate of flow calculated by using the ratio of irrigated land area. The real rate of flow and the must rate of flow were used to determine pemias coefficients and pemias coefficients used to determine the must width of the threshold design of tembuku. Based on analysis, the average pemias coefficient was 0.095 or a value of pemias reduction was 0.095. Correlation of height of water and pemias coefficient was very high with R2 was 0.942. RMSE of width threshold value was 38.86%. The must width of the threshold at Subak is obtained by dividing the real width threshold with (1- pemias coefficients). After socialized to some pekaseh, they were mostly agree if there pemias coefficients that can be used to give pelampias on tembuku ngerirun.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh ragam konsentrasi lilin lebah dalam basis emulsi 0.5% minyak wijen dan 0,5% minyak sereh terhadap perubahan mutu buah mangga Arumanis selama penyimpanan pada suhu kamar (26-32oC). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan ragam konsentrasi lilin lebah 0% sebagai control, 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Parameter mutu yang diamati adalah parameter fisik-kimia yang terdiri atas susut bobot, intensitas kerusakan, kekerasan, total padatan terlarut dan total asam, serta parameter sensoris yang dilakukan oleh 10 orang panelis terhadap tingkat kesukaan aroma, warna, rasa dan tekstur daging buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelapisan buah mangga Arumanis dengan konsentrasi lilin lebah berbeda secara nyata berpengaruh terhadap perubahan mutu selama penyimpanan pada suhu kamar. Pelapisan buah dengan konsentrasi lilin lebah 2% adalah terbaik dalam memperlambat perubahan fisik buah dan memberikan nilai sensoris kesukaan terbaik terhadap aroma, warna, rasa dan tekstur daging buah selama penyimpanan. The objective of this research was to study the effect of various concentrations of beeswax in the baseemulsion of 0.5% sesame oil and 0.5% lemongrass oil on the quality of Arumanis mango fruits duringstorage at room temperature (26-32oC). This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) withvarious concentrations of beeswax, namely 0% as control, 1%, 2% and 3%. Quality parameters measured were physical-chemical changes consisting of weight loss, spoilage intencity, hardness, total soluble solids and total acidity, as well as sensory parameters were evaluated by 10 panelists on the preferences of aroma, color, flavor and texture of the fruit flesh. The results showed that the coating of Arumanis with different concentrations of beeswax significantly affected the quality changes during storage of the fruit at the room temperature. Coating the fruit with a concentration of 2% beeswax gave the best result in slowing the physical changes and provided the best values of the sensory preferences on aroma, color, flavor and texture of the fruit flesh during the storage of coated fruit.
