Abstract

Abstract : Influence of Personal Selling, Display, Sales Promotion to Brand Awareness and Intention to Buy Pond?s Beauty Products. The purpose of this research is to observe how the influences of personal selling, sales promotion toward brand awareness and intention of buying to Pond?s beauty products. This study took 200 respondents and used judgmental sampling method. The data analysis technique that used was factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The result of this research shows that sales promotion give positive effects for brand awareness of beauty products of ponds and personal selling, brand awareness has positive effects toward in intention of buying products, and personal selling and display don?t influence significantly toward brand awareness of beauty products and sales promotion influencing positive effects of intention of buying for beauty products of Pond?s. With this, PT Unilever  to pay more attention to important points that can be used to market their products.   Abstrak : Pengaruh Personal Selling, Display, Promosi Penjualan Terhadap Kesadaran Merek dan Intensi Membeli Pada Produk Kecantikan Pond?s. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengamati bagaimana pengaruh personal selling, promosi penjualan terhadap kesadaran merek dan niat membeli untuk produk kecantikan Ponds. Penelitian ini mengambil 200 responden dan menggunakan metode judgemental sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi penjualan memberi efek positif untuk kesadaran terhadap merek produk kecantikan Pond?s. Temuan lain adalah bahwa personal selling dan brand awareness memiliki efek positif terhadap keinginan untuk membeli produk, personal selling dan tampilan tidak berpengaruh signifikan untuk variabel kesadaran terhadap merek produk kecantikan Pond?s serta promosi penjualan mempunyai efek positif  pada niat untuk membeli produk kecantikan Pond?s. Dengan ini, PT Unilever untuk lebih memperhatikan poin penting yang dapat digunakan untuk memasarkan produk mereka.   Kata kunci: personal selling, tampilan, promosi penjualan, kesadaran merek, niat untuk membeli

Abstract

Implimentasi desentralisasi fiskal berimplikasi pada transfer pusat melalui Dana Alokasi Umum (DAU), Dana Alokasi Khusus (DAK) dan Dana Bagi Hasil (DBH). Analisis data panel digunakan untuk empat belas kabupaten/kota antara tahun 2010-2015 melalui tiga tahap estimasi, pooled least square (PLS), fixed effect model (FEM) dan random effect model (REM). Model FEM merupakan model paling baik dalam menjelaskan data. Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa DAU secara statistik signifikan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi secara positif di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat.   Kata Kunci: Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, Dana Perimbangan

Abstract

The effect of work enviroment, work conflict, work stress and leadership to employee perfomance in PT. Telkom Indonesia, Tbk (Denpasar area). Adaptive leadership role and able to interesting for further study, particulary associated with the work environment, work conflict, work stress, leadership, and employees performance. The result showed that: increasing the quality of working enviroment can improve the quality of leadership. Leadership is the dominant factor that can enchance the performance of employees in PT. Telkom Indonesia Tbk Denpasar Area. It is suggested to make the management of an integrated program to solve these gaps, especially respondents who include into the low category, because it can lead to word of mouth (WOM) employees who can influence leadership and employee performance. Keywords: work environment, work conflict, work stress, leadership, employee performance

Abstract

Higher education or college is an institution that gave birth to the intellectual resources expected to contribute in the human resources quality improving. All activities should be directed for the excellent academic performance. Management, especially university leaders, must start it from an awareness of the entire academic community. Awareness of university leaders should be depart from the philosophical, that not only manage the college-oriented economic capital (profit oriented), but also have socio-oriented capital. The question is what type of leadership that is appropriate to apply to higher education institutions in Indonesia? Leaders who have the spirit of academic leader or manager? Academic leaders must have the spirit of academic excellence, and is selected from the academics who have adequate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Abstract

This research aims to get empirical evidence about influence of credit risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk on profitability. This research adopts goal setting theory and risk and return theory. Empirical studies conducted as banking company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange on period 2011-2015 with 112 company years as a sample was that obtained using purposive sampling technique. In this reseacrch has using secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used in this study is the technique of regression analysis support with tools statistical applications product and service solutions version 16. The results showed that (1) NPL have a negative effect on profitability, (2) BOPO have a negative effect on profitability, (3) LDR have a positive effect on profitability.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk membandingkan kinerja keuangan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT. Indosat Tbk, dan PT.XL Axiata Tbk Periode 2008 ? 2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah perusahaan jasa telekomunikasi yang terdaftar sebagai perusahaan publik (emiten) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2008 ? 2017 serta teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria tertentu dan ditentukan perusahaan yang masuk dalam kategori 3 perusahaan telekomunikasi terbesar dan terbaik dalam periode 2008 ? 2017 serta telah menerbitkan laporan keuangan tahunan pada tahun 2008 -2017. Dengan demikian sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT Indosat Tbk dan PT. XL Axiata Tbk. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan untuk menguji perbandingannya menggunakan analisis statistik (uji beda statistik parametrik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji beda menggunakan One-way ANOVA memperoleh hasil terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kinerja keuangan PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, PT. Indosat Tbk dan PT. PT.XL Axiata Tbk dilihat dari rasio likuiditas, rasio solvabilitas, rasio aktivitas dan rasio profitabilitas.

Abstract

Overcoming Poverty Trap : The Case of  Water & Sanitation in Indonesia. Poverty trap is a cycle in which poor individuals exhibit low health quality due to malnutrition and limited access to health related facilities. Poor health causes low productivity which eventually cycles back to low income. Indonesia significantly reduced poverty from 15.6% in 1990 to 3.3% in 2010. However, this achievement is not conveyed equally across regions. Using data form RAND Corporation, estimations showed that access to sanitation and clean water play a crucial role in improving one?s health quality. Keywords: poverty trap, productivity, income, health facility.

Abstract

Abstract : The Influence of Economic and Socio-Demographic Variables to The Woman?s EconomicStatus in Jembrana District. This research was aimed to analyze the influence of economic variables(income, working hours, employment sector, employment status) and socio-demographic variables (areaof residence, number of household members, education level) to the woman?s economic status, eithersimultaneously or partially. The results showed that economic variables (income, working hours,employment sector, employment status) and socio-demographic variables (area of residence, number ofhousehold members, education level) simultaneously have significant influences to woman?s economicstatus in Jembrana. Socio-demographic variables (number of household members) have a significantlypositive effect, meanwhile economic variables (working hours) and socio-demographic variables (levelof education) have a significantly negative effect to the woman?s economic status in Jembrana.Thedominant variable that influence the woman?s economic status in Jembrana is number of household members. Keywords: economic, socio-demographic, woman economic?s status

Abstract

  Rapid flow of information through on the Internet has tended to be confusion (confusion) among users. It will cause potential customers perform undesired actions. This study will confirm the Consumers Online Tourism Confusion Model on Indonesian citizen. The population in this study are: Citizen of Indonesia who are at least 18 years, using online media (internet) in seeking information on tourism products and are planning a trip (vacation). This research is analysed by using regression method with a total 100 respondents being involved. The results showed that learning orientation and price consciousness variables bring negative and significant effect on consumer confusion, while the level of need for cognition brings positive and significant impact on consumer confusion. The results of this study suggest that the company in particular that rely on product differentiation as a competitive advantage, should continue to use other media in implementing marketing communications strategies in order to avoid consumer confusion.

Abstract

Abstract : Analisysis of the effect of financial information, non - financial and macroeconomics to company underpricing when IPO.Initial public offering (IPO) is activity of company in order to public offer of primary share sale. A company who want to go public will be doing an IPO process. Phenomenon that happened commonly is underpricing. Underpricing is conditions which show that share?s price at primary market was to low than first day of secondary market.This study aimed to analyse influence variabels which have an impact to underpricing at company when IPO in Indonesian Stock Exchange During 2007-2011. The factors studied were Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Inflation Rate, Reputation?s Of KAP And Reputation Of Underwriter. The result of multiple regression model for this study indicates that Return on Equity, KAP Reputation and Reputation of Underwriter has a significant effect on underpricing at 5% significantly level, while financial leverage and inflationrate has no effect on underpricing.
