Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh sistem manajemen mutu terhadap kinerja operasional perusahaan di PT. Waskita Beton Precast. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sampel 100 responden karyawan yang dipilih secara acak serta proporsional pada setiap unit kerja. Metode analisa yang digunakan dalam menguji hubungan antar konstruk laten sistem manajemen mutu terhadap kinerja operasional perusahaan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan program AMOS V.24. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa sistem manajemen mutu pada karyawan dipersepsikan sudah baik oleh karyawan. Hasil pengujian pada analisis full model, menunjukkan bahwa model secara keseluruhan memenuhi kriteria model fit. Keseluruhan indikator konstruk, yaitu fokus pada pelanggan, kepemimpinan, keterlibatan personel, pendekatan proses, pendekatan sistem terhadap menejemen, peningkatan berkesinambungan, pendekatan factual dalam mengambil keputusan, dan hubungan pemasok yang saling menguntungkan adalah valid dan reliabel dalam mengukur konstruk kinerja operasional perusahaan, serta pelanggan, tanggung jawab manajemen, realisasi produk, pengukuran analisa dan perbaikan adalah valid dan reliabel dalam mengukur konstruk pengaruh sistem manajemen mutu. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan hasil yang konsisten dengan kajian teoritis bahwa sistem manajemen mutu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

Lean Six Sigma is a collective approach, which uses various techniques and tools for quality improvement. Here, Lean Six Sigma methodology was applied to a small injection molding unit (which can be taken as representative of small and medium-size industries) manufacturing casing of electronics part. The DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) approach of Lean Six Sigma was applied to reduce the rejection rate of the casing (child part of an electronic product) by changing setting parameters: mold temperature, injection pressure and injection speed in the injection mold process. The statistical techniques such as DOE full factorial experiment, and process capability analysis were done to finding the process capability before and after the Lean Six Sigma implementation. After implementing the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC approach it was found that injection molding firms can increase their profit by increase yield rate and deleting rejection rate of casing part. Lean Six Sigma implementation increase the process sigma level from 4,3σ to 4,7σ by a reduction in casing flow mark variation and transparency. This increase in sigma level will give defect cost reduction to the industry which is a good figure for such an industry. Abstrak Lean Six Sigma adalah pendekatan kolektif, yang menggunakan berbagai teknik dan alat untuk peningkatan kualitas. Di sini, metodologi Lean Six Sigma diterapkan pada unit injection molding kecil (yang dapat dianggap mewakili industri ukuran kecil dan menengah) manufaktur casing part. Pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) Lean Six Sigma diterapkan untuk mengurangi tingkat penolakan casing part (bagian anak dari produk elektronik) dengan mengubah tiga setting parameter: suhu mold, tekanan dan kecepatan injection dalam proses cetakan injeksi. Teknik statistik seperti DOE full factorial experiment,dan analisis kemampuan proses dilakukan untuk menemukan kemampuan proses sebelum dan sesudah implementasi Lean Six Sigma. Setelah menerapkan pendekatan Lean Six Sigma DMAIC ditemukan bahwa perusahaan injection molding dapat meningkatkan keuntungannya dengan menaikan yield rate dengan mengendalikan tingkat penolakan casing part. Implementasi Lean Six Sigma meningkatkan tingkat sigma proses dari 4,3σ menjadi 4,8σ dengan mengurangi variasi flow mark dan transperancy. Kenaikan tingkat sigma ini akan memberikan pengurangan biaya akibat cacat ke industri yang merupakan contoh yang baik untuk industri semacam ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this research background to the problem in this study is based on the problems that have occurred including an increase in complaints from customers due to defective products from 2015 to 2019 and a decrease in the customer satisfaction index from 2018 to 2019. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine how much the level of quality culture absorption of employees in the company Jababeka Dua area. (2) To find out how big the level of application of the principles of ISO 9001 quality management systems in the Jababeka Dua area company. (3) Knowing the effect of the absorption of quality culture on the implementation of the ISO 9001 quality management system in the Jababeka Dua area company. The data of research were obtained from a sample of 125 respondents randomly selected employees and proportionate in each work unit. The Method of analisys used in testing the relationship between latent constructs the quality culture to the succesful implementation of quality management system ISO 9001 is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS V.24. This research found that the quality culture on employees and the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001 has been well perceived by employees. Based on full model analysis, the result of this research shows that full model fill goodness of fit. Overall construct indicators, that is philosophy, beliefs, habits, behavior, values, traditions, procedures, and expectations are valid and reliable in measuring the construct of quality culture, and top management commitment, supplier partnerships, continuous improvement, employees involvement, customer focus, and product quality are valid and reliable in measuring the construct of the implementation of quality management system iso 9001. hypothesis testing showed result consistent with the theoretical study that the quality culture positive and significant impact on the implementation of the quality management system ISO 9001.
