Abstract

Interaction of several cucumber lines, fertilizer with development areas . This research was carried out in Bekasi, Karawang, Subang, Indramayu and Cirebon from Januari to April 2015, Experiment was arranged in randomized complete block design consisted of eight hybrid lines and two levels of fertilization with three replication. Hybrid lines used were  H-1, H-2, H-3, H-4, H-5, H-6, H-7 and Herkules variety control. The two levels of fertilization were recommendation dosage ( 150kg N P K per hectare ) and recomemended dosage for Riawan tani ( 225 kg  per hectare ). Plant components observed were cucumber hybrid lines productivity, number of fruit, plant height, branch diameter and number of generative branch. Results showed that  lines H-7 promised high result and was able to adapt to proper environment. Interaction of lines with location was shown by seven lines exset H-7. Lines of H-4 in Bekasi; H-4 and H-6 in Karawang; H-1 and H-4 in Subang; H-1 Indramayu and H-3 in Cirebon gained hight yield. From eight lines examined, only H-1 and H-2 represented lines with hight yield stability, genetic control on productivity. It was determined by hight estimation value heritability pf 65 %. Abstract

ABSTRACT Yield Trial of Cucumber Hybrid Lines at Bandung, Garut, Sumedang on Dry season and Wet season. The experiment was a series of activities to numbers of location and seasion of field trial for variety released. The experimental design  was Randomized Complete Block Design with 4 replications and consisted of 40  plant per plot. The objective of the research was to find out high yielding of cucumber lines for Bandung, Garut, Sumedang at dry and wet season. The results obtained that Hybrid one washighest yielding (40.97 ton/ha) than check variety of Roberto (33.51 ton/ha). The cucumber of hybrid one were comparable to check variety of Misano (41.82 ton/ha) and Wulan (41.00 ton/ha). The cucumber Hybrid one were adapted at mid altitude of Districts Garut, Sumedang and Bandung.   Keywords : cucumis sativus , hybrid lines, yield, location,season

Abstract

Test of productivity was held in West Java (Bandung, Bogor, Garut, Subang) and in East Java, Blitar (Pakunden sub district and Sukorejo sub district), at elevation 20? 400    sea level. The soil type are Aluvial Latosol and Sandy loam. The Experiment was conducted held 2009 from 2010 during dry season. Randomized Bloc Design was used for this experiment, with three replications and twelve entries. F1 hibrida lines were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and two F1 hibrid varieties: Hercules and Asian Star. The treatment was repeated three times as chek varieties, planting distance is 40 x 60 cm. This experiment purpose of is to choose the best hybrid line of cucumber for released variety. Statistics are analysis with Duncan multiple range test 5 % showed that the total yield of F1 hybrid 1 and the hybrid 7 is significantly higer than the F1 hybrid Hercules but not to the Asian Star production.Key words: yield, F1 hybrid, line, cucumber, location

Abstract

Red-bean (Vigna angularia Wild) is very important in human life as source of vegetable protein and can be consumed in various processed products. In Indonesia, there are a lot of industrial activities using red-bean as main raw material. Unfortunately, red-bean is still imported to meet this demand. In red-bean farming system, variety is one of key factor to achieve high yield. Therefore, a research was conducted in Lembang Bandung and Cikajang Garut districts, West Java from May to December 2012. The objective was to gain potential line of red-bean with high yield. The experiment was arranged in randomized complete block design with 10 genotypes as treatments and three replications. Results showed that LV 5563 lines reached highest yield of 1,88 ? 2,00 t ha-1. On the other hand, lowest yield was reached by LV- 5831 lines with yield of 0.98-1.30 t ha-1, followed by LV 0066-LV6168  lines with 0.37-1.47 t ha-1 and Local Garut with 0.71-1.40 t ha-1.  Key words: Vigna angularia, potential lines, yield

Abstract

An experiment was carried out at the experimental Station and Seed technology laboratory of Central Research Institute for Vegetable Lembang, from June until November 2010. Randomized Block Design was used to study six varieties of pepper. The six varieties of pepper were: YK 1, YK 2, Tanjung 1, Tanjung 2, Rk1 and Rk4. The results showed that there was no significant effect among varieties on yield, seed viability and vigor, except on seedling vigor classification test. The Tanjung 2 was the best variety for seed weight per plot and normally for seedling vigor classification test.  Key words: pepper, variety, seed, yield, viability, vigor.
