Abstract

Canteen is a producer of domestic liquid waste that has the potential to cause pollution. Likewise with the student canteen, it has the potential to produce waste that causes environmental pollution if it is not treated properly. The use of Montecarlo software in this study is to support quantitative analysis in predicting potential pollution from Ubhara canteen waste with Crystall ball prediction. The results of laboratory analysis in the form COD, BOD dan TSS, showed that the quality of the canteen waste water did not meet the requirements for wastewater quality standard based on Ministry of Environment Decree No. 112 of 2003. Supported by the results of CB Predictor simulations showing the potential of pollution of the Ubhara canteen waste water to the environment continues to increase significantly, also seen from the Double Exponential Smoothing Method, producing MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) 170.82, Theil's U 0.9951, and Confidence Interval Lower 5% and Upper 99.5%.

Abstract

The queuing system can influent customer satisfaction and always interesting to analyze. The queuing at HokBen use a Single Channel Multi-Phase system, 1 service to offer and prepare order menus and 1 cashier. The study was conducted at the Hokben Ujung Menteng Store in East Jakarta, for one week, at 4 sessions during rush hour. After the data obtained, a Single Channel Multi-Phase queue parameter was calculated, namely: the average arrival per unit time, the average service unity of time, the level of server usage, the number of customers in the queue, the number of customers in the system, the waiting time in the queue, the waiting time in the system, and customer probabilities in the system. The result showed that the customer's arrival pattern meets the Poison distribution and the service pattern meets the Normal distribution, but the service time still greater than the standard service time, and of course not satisfy to customers, because they waited a bit longer. After a multi-channel multiphase simulation, which used 2 service lines, the service time smaller than the standard service time, and service more efficient. This research becomes useful for Hokben management specifically, and also for the fast-food industry in general.

Abstract

Abstrak: Potensi Daur Ulang Sampah Dari Kampus Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. Aktivitas di kampus Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya (Ubhara Jaya) merupakan salah satu sumber timbulan sampah di kota Bekasi yang perlu dikelola dengan baik untuk mencegah timbulnya dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Untuk mengetahui kuantitas sampah yang harus dikelola di kampus Ubhara Jaya perlu dilakukan pengukuran sampel timbulan sampah. Pada penelitian ini pengukuran sampel mengikuti panduan dalam SNI 19-3964-1994. Sampah yang berasal dari 4 gedung utama, kantin, kebun dan taman diukur berat, volume, dan komposisinya selama 8 hari berturut-turut. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, timbulan sampah rata-rata dari kampus Ubhara Jaya adalah 138,3 kg/hari. Komposisi sampah terdiri dari sampah plastik sebesar 41.14%, sampah kertas 28.49%, sampah sisa sebesar 24.27%, dan sampah lain-lain 5.67%. Sampah plastik dan kertas yang masih memiliki nilai ekonomi dapat dimanfaatkan kembali sedangkan sampah organik dapat diolah dengan pengomposan. Dengan pemanfaatan kembali dan pengomposan, sampah yang harus diangkut ke TPA dapat dikurangi sebanyak 94%. Dengan demikian, kampus Ubhara Jaya dapat mengurangi beban sampah yang harus dikelola di kota Bekasi. Kata kunci: Reduksi, Sampah, Plastik, Kompos Abstract: Recycling Potential Of Waste Generated From Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. Daily activity in Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya (Ubhara Jaya) is one of the domestic waste source ini Bekasi which shall be managed properly to prevent negative impact to the environment. Sampling of waste quantity is required to identify the number of waste that shall be managed Ubhara Jaya. In this research, sampling was performed according to the guidance in SNI 19-3964-1994. Domestic waste from 4 main buildings, canteen, yard, and garden was measured for its weight, volume, and composition in 8 days consecutively. The sampling result indicated that quantity of domestic waste in Ubhara Jaya is 138.3 kg/day The composition of domestic waste, i.e. 41.14% plastic waste, 28.49% paper waste, 24.27% organic waste, and 5.67% other waste. Plastic and paper waste are still valuable and can be recycled, while organic waste can be treated by composting. Domestic waste management through recycling and composting can reduce waste which shall be transported to final disposal site by 94%. Subsequently Ubhara Jaya will reduce the quantity of waste in Bekasi. Keywords: Reduce, Waste, Plastic, Compost

Abstract

Genangan air di musim hujan dan tumpukan sampah telah menjadi masalah bagi banyak kota. Masalah lain yang sering dialami adalah kekeringan di musim kemarau yang diakibatkan sedikitnya air hujan yang mengisi kembali rongga tanah. Semakin banyaknya lahan hijau yang berubah fungsi menjadi bangunan menyebabkan berkurangnya daerah resapan air. Dengan berkurangnya daerah resapan air, hujan yang turun tidak meresap kembali ke dalam tanah melainkan mengalir di permukaan.Hal lain yang harus menjadi perhatian adalah pengelolaan sampah domestik. Apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik, sampah domestik menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan. Perumahan Mutiara Gading Timur merupakan salah satu tempat di kota Bekasi yang hanya memiliki sedikit daerah resapan air karena sebagian besar lahan telah dipergunakan sebagai rumah atau jalan.Pembuatan lubang resapan biopori dapat menjadi alternatif untuk mengurangi volume air permukaan, meningkatkan tingkat resapan air hujan ke dalam tanah, dan mereduksi sampah organik yang mudah terurai. Lubang resapan biopori dibuat vertikal ke dalam tanah, dengan diameter 10 – 25 cm dan kedalaman sekitar 100 cm. Di bagian atas lubang diisi dengan sampah organik yang kemudian akan terurai menjadi kompos.Adanya kompos di bagian atas lubang biopori akan meningkatkan aktivitas organisme dalam tanah yang membentuk rongga-rongga untuk meresapkan air ke dalam tanah.

Abstract

The fashion industry that is gamis in Indonesia is growing rapidly because the majority of the population is Moslem. Elzatta is a company that does business on Moslem clothing, one of its products is the gamis. The company is experiencing problems with stockpiling in warehouses, because of models that were not sold, as well as outdated models. With the accumulation of products in warehouses in 2017 and 2018, many products will be damaged. For this reason, the company runs a buy one get one business strategy and sells products at low prices. As a result, the company suffered a substantial loss. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the inventory management that has been carried out using the EOQ model. For 2019, it is necessary to plan the number of products to be sold and apply the EOQ model. The results of evaluations in 2017 and 2018, by using EOQ the company could save 64.78% for 2017 and 63.40% for 2018. Whereas for 2019, after forecasting the number of sales using the seasonal model, sales projections are similar to the number of sales in the previous years, so that the number of products needed for a single order is 1364 pcs.
