Abstract

Liquid Fertilizers contain a lot of organic waste which has been decomposed and ready for consumption by plants. By utilizing the remaining vegetables, dried leaves and tofu, it is expected to increase the economic value of waste and reduce environmental pollution. Liquid fertilizer composted by anaerobic fermentation and carried out in a closed bucket (composter) with a comparison of bio-activator wastewater of tofu and EM4. The characterization of liquid fertilizer products was carried out by Nitrogen Analyzer, UV-vis spectroscopies, and AAS tools to test the levels of Nitrogen, Phosphor and Potassium respectively. The Result shown that the N total levels (0,38 %), Phosphor levels (0,06 %), and potassium levels (0,15%) of POC that made from waste water of tofu are higher than POCEM4.

Abstract

Teaching and learning process to determine student learning outcomes requires the selection of appropriate learning models so that it can provide maximum learning impact. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of better learning models for the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This type of research is quantitative using the Quasi-experimental design method. Data collection in this study uses a description test with the type of questions based on indicators of mathematical concept understanding ability. Hypothesis testing uses a non-correlated 2-sample t test with decisions taken through the left-side test. This shows that the Flipped Classroom learning model is more effective than the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model in influencing students' mathematical concepts

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick di SDN 02 Metro Timur pada mata peajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN 02 Metro Timur dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V B SDN 02 Metro Timur. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan observasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V B SDN 02 Metro Timur menggunakan model pembelajaran talking stick mengalami peningkatan, dimana sebelum diterapkannya model pembelajaran talking stick persentase keaktifan siswa hanya mencapai 70%, setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran talking stick persentase keaktifan siswa meningkat menjadi 90%. Selain dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa, diterapkannya model pembelajaran talking stick pada kelas V B SDN 02 Metro Timur juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswanya. rata-rata tes kognitif siswa yang sebelumnya hanya 76,59 menjadi 89,31. Bersdarkan hasil penelitian model pembelajaran Talking Stick dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa.Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick, Keaktifan Belajar

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the characteristics and availability of literature cited in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student Thesis of 2012 in the Library of the Medicine Faculty, Andalas university. This study is descriptive quantitative research that is the subject of the entire thesis, which has 21 theses. Object of research is all citations contained in the bibliography thesis studied. Data collection techniques used was documentation technique with the application of citation analysis methods. Instrument that used is secondary data. Data analysis is the data tabulated and analyzed based on the percentage and it presented in tabular form. The results showed that the characteristics of the cited literature that there are 19 types of literature with a total number of 848 citations. Kind of literature the most widely cited is a book that is 399 citations (47,05%). Title of literature that is often cited is the Journal of Nutrition 18 citations (2,12%). Author who often cited is Guyton about 10 citations (1,18%). The dominant language of literature cited is Indonesian, namely 451 citations (53,18%). Half life literature cited in the thesis is 9,37 years. The Percentage availability of the cited literature as a whole is 57,55% and 42,45% not available at the Library of the Medicine Faculty, Andalas University. Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic with high prevalence and it can increase the risk of the complications, if it not handled properly. Medication adherence is one of the determining factor to achive therapeutic outcome. This research aims to determine the affecting factors of adherence in  diabetes mellitus type 2 outpatient at RSUD Sukoharjo in 2020. This research type is  cross sectional with a purposive sampling technique. A total of 85 patients diabetes mellitus type 2 outpatient at RSUD Sukoharjo with inclusion criteria received OAD therapy (Oral Antidiabetic Drugs) or a combination of OAD with insulin for at least 1 month, recruited in this study. The data was collected from medical records and questionnaires. Adherence was measured by using the MARS 5 questionnaire (Medication Adherence Report Scale 5). Factors contributing to medication adherence was analyzed by using chi-square test. The results showed that 37 respondents (43.5%) were obedient. The significant factors of medication adherence are monthly income (p-value = 0.018 and OR = 2.887), Medication (p - value = 0.007 and OR = 3,551), the frequency of treatment (p-value = 0.006 and OR = 3,529) and blood glucose level (p-value = 0.006 and OR = 3,529).
