Abstract

This research was conducted based on the facts indicating that the integrated thematic     learning was not run as it was expected. The teacher seemed to ignore the involvement of the students in  applying each of the values obtained in a learning stimulus in the form of a theacher’s demonstration. The purpose of   this research  was  to  describe the application  of VCT Percontohan approach  in integrated thematic learning process. This research is a class action. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut Kota Padang. The subject of the research was the teacher and the students of class IV totaling 25 people . The result of the research revealed that the quality of integrated thematic learning increased. The first cycle of meetings one aspect of teacher 84,4 % (B) and 84,4 %(B) of student aspects, second meeting aspect teacher 90,62 % (SB) of the students aspect of90,62% (D). The second cycle of meetings one aspect of teacher 93,75% (SB) of the student aspect 93,75% (SB).

Abstract

Penelitian ini menunjukkan pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Batusangkar dalam mewujudkan Pendidikan Damai (Peace Education). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini diambil melalui wawancara mendalam kepada pihak-pihak yang dinilai dapat memberikan data secara maksimal terkait pendidikan damai yang dilakukan melalui pembiasaan yang dilakukan, seperti peserta didik, kepala sekolah, guru serta orangtua siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik SMA Negeri 3 Batusangkar dalam mewujudkan Pendidikan Damai (Peace Education) dengan membentuk karakter peserta didik, diantaranya adalah religius, peduli sosial, saling percaya, komunikatif, jujur, peduli lingkungan, toleransi/tenggang rasa, kreatif dan bertanggung jawab. Adapun kegiatan pembiasaan yang dilakukan adalah pembudayaan salam, pembacaan Asmaul Husna dan Tadarus, shalat berjamaah, membawa bekal dari rumah, upacara bendera, muhadharah, kantin kejujuran dan sebagainya. Pembentukan karakter tersebut mengarahkan kepada pencapaian dari tujuan Pendidikan Damai (Peace Education).

Abstract

This Study aims to determine the effect of Course Review Horay (CRH) modeling method on the student’s learning outcome in civic education. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. In the implementation, this research consists of two cycles, namely cycle I two meetings and cycle II one meeting. Includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 34 teachers and grade IV students.Student learning outcomes in research Cycle I 62.0 with good qualifications increased in cycle II to 86.64 with very good qualifications. Thus the Cooperative Learning model type Course Review Horay has been able to improve student learning outcomes in Integrated Thematic learning in class IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas Bukittinggi.The Key word: Course Review Horay (CRH) clasroom action research, Integrated Thematic learning

Abstract

In order to enhance the students' learning activities on thematic learning at SDN 36 Cengkeh, Padang. Classroom action research conducted. Objectives to be achieved by the researchers is to increase the activity of teachers and students during the learning takes place by using the Matrix Model VCT approach. This study consisted of two cycles with data analysis techniques qualitative and quantitative descriptive implemented through three stages: planning, action and observation, reflection. The data collection was assisted by VB classroom teachers using teacher and student activity sheets. The results showed that the activity of teachers increased by 6% from 78% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle. While the student activity increased by 9% from 75% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  Value Clarification Technique (VCT) modeling method on the studnts’ learning outcome in civic education. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research was conducted in cluster VI elementary school akabiluru sub-district district fifity cities. Sampling data is taken by purposive sampling. The sample of this study amounted to 40 people, with a population of 92 people. Based on the research that has been done, obtained t count> t table, 1,98 >1,72 with α = 0.05 is means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that the Value Clarification Technique modeling method affects the students’ learning outcome in civic education in cluster VI elementary school akabiluru sub-district district fifity cities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning processes using the Quantum Teaching model in class V SD N 16 Koto Baru Solok. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects in the study were 22 teachers and students. Research site at SD N 16 Koto Baru Solok. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I with an average of 80.05% and cycle II 97.22%, b) Implementation of the aspects of the teacher Idengan cycle on average was 77.77% and cycle II 94, 44%, while the implementation of aspects of the first cycle students with an average of 79.1% and the second cycle 94.44% (very good), d) Assessment of student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 72.9 and the cycle II 94. Conclusion, that the application of the Quantum Teaching model shows an increase in student learning outcomes and processes in integrated thematic learning. Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes by using the Portfolio model in integrated thematic learning of fifth grade. In the implementation the teacher has not used a learning model that can arouse students' enthusiasm, and does not provide problems in learning and student work outcomes are not kept together so it is difficult to see student development. This type of research is Classroom Action Research and uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of this research is the fifth grade elementary school students. The data of this study are the results of observations and tests of each learning improvement action by applying the portfolio model. This portfolio model has 6 stages namely "1) identifying the problem, 2) selecting the problem for the class study, 3) collecting information about the problems studied in class. 4) developing portfolios in class, 5) collection of materials, 6) portfolio display section. The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle the average cognitive value of students was 71.5 and in the second cycle increased that the average cognitive value of students became 92. Conclusion, that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after applying the portfolio model to learning integrated thematic in grade V elementary school. Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of the use of cooperartive learning model of type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to the result of learning PKN student class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This Type of research is quasi eksperment. The Population in this study is class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP with samples of class IV A dan IV B consisting of 20 and 18 students. Based on the result of t test calculation obtained t value = 2,325 and price t table = 2,042. This proves that the use of cooperative learning model type of TAI effect on the learning outcomes PKN class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.

Abstract

The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) approach can foster a student’s awareness of critical thinking ​​through clarification and test the truth of values. In practice of learning sometimes teachers ignore the guidance of attitudes and character values. This is caused by the lack of teacher’s skills to implement the ​​learning approach in learning Civics and Social Science. So that impact on low student character and student unready to face competition globally. The purposes of this training are to increase insight and train teachers in Talawi to apply VCT approach model matrix in Civics and Social Science lesson, in order to improve the student’s character. The targets are elementary school teachers in Talawi (20 people). The method in this training consists of the Lecture Method, Question and Answer, Discussions, used to describe the material, encouraging active participation of teachers, selecting material to be designed with steps of the VCT model matrix. Recitation Method for training teachers in designing RPP with the VCT matrix. Simulation Method to train teachers to implement Civics and Social Science learning with the VCT model matrix. The results are teachers in Talawi can understand, design-implement, improve their skills in implementing Civics and Social Science with VCT matrix model that can influence the improvement of student’s character values.
