Abstract

The development of information technology has ampact on changes in human life. One of them is Cloud Computing technology. Cloud Computing is computing model that it giveaway saat toaccess services by offering resources suci as hardware, software, and data storage as user guidance services. SMPN 1 Karimun is one of the Junior High Schools in Karimun Regency,still uses conventional storage namely computer storage or tiger storages. So, the ampun of data cause a lack of effeciency and effectiveness in accessing data. As a technology like cloudcomputing. Cloud computing has function as a server for digital-based storage, renew using cloud computing can storage performance in SMPN 1 Karimun to knot it any attack of DoS ( Denial of Service ). The research methodology is to design a cloud computing system by testings function in the application with the quality of existing network. The average value of throughput without DoS attack is 21,21 Mbit/s, the average throughtput value two PCs using DoS attack is18,76 Mbit/s while four PCs is 17,21 Mbit/s. Avarage result of packet loss without DoS attack is 0,046 %, the average of packet loss value using two PCs DoS attack is 0,082 % while using fourPCs is 0,104 %. Average result of delay value without DoS attack is 0,000354 ms, the average delay value using two PCs is 0,000475 ms while using while four PCs is 0,000517 ms.Keywords: Cloud Computing, DoS (Denial of Service), QoS (Quality of Service), SMPN 1 Karimun

Abstract

Rangkaian alat ukur yang diantarmukakan padakomputer pribadi ini, dirancang untuk melakukanpengukuran terhadap kecepatan dan arah angin. Anginyang menerpa cup anemometer akan menggerakkan cup,sehingga poros anemometer yang dikopel dengan motor arussearah berputar dan menghasilkan keluaran berupategangan analog, yang menjadi masukan untuk Analog toDigital Converter (ADC) sehingga didapatkan keluarandalam bentuk digital. Begitu juga pada saat angin mengenaibaling-baling penentu arah angin, akan menggerakkanporosnya sehingga baling-baling berputar, hal ini akanmenyebabkan lempeng lingkaran yang telah dilubangisepanjang 45odan merupakan bagian tembus cahaya, ikutberputar diantara delapan buah sensor optocoupler. Jikabagian yang tembus cahaya terkena cahaya LEDinframerah, maka ada keluaran pada optocoupler, keadaanini dinamakan logika 1. Sebaliknya jika bagian yang tidaktembus cahaya terkena cahaya LED inframerah makakeadaan ini dinamakan logika 0. Setiap output dari sensorsudah mengalami konversi ke bentuk sinyal digital, berupabilangan biner agar dapat dibaca dan diproses olehkomputer melalui antarmuka modul PPI8255. Informasidata masukan tersebut digunakan untuk menetukankecepatan dan arah angin dengan bantuan program VisualBasic, selanjutnya hasil pengukuran ditampilkan pada layarmonitor komputer.

Abstract

Fire Robot serves to detect and extinguish the fire. The robot is controlled by the microcontroller ATMEGA8535 automatically. This robot contains of several sensors, such as 5 sets of ping parallax as a robot navigator, a set UVTron equipped with fire-detecting driver, DC motor driver L298 with two DC servo motors. The robot was developed from a prototype that has been studied previously with the addition on the hardware side of the sound activation and two sets of line detector. The robot will active if it receives input from the sound activation unit and will start to find the fire with “search the wall” navigation techniques. The line sensor was used as a door and home detector and circle the fire area.To extinguish the fire, this robot uses a fan driven by a BD139 transistor circuit. The overall test results show that the robot can detect the presence of the fire in each room. The robot also can find the fire and extinguish it within 1 minute.

Abstract

The antenna has a big role either in high or low frequency of wireless communication. In transmission process, antenna also become a determinant factor of successful communication between transmitter and receiver. In this project, we will design an omnidirectional antenna that will be connected with electrical unit measurement device. To make analyzing process easier, ansoft hfss 13.0 software will beused. The simulation results show that the antenna canwork well at frequency of 2,4 until 2,5 GHz, return loss -30,4670, gain 5,08 and VSWR 1,0618.Keyword: microstrip antenna, Wi – Fi , return loss, VSWR

Abstract

Data are valuable information in an agency or an institution, both engaged in politics, culture, education, economics and etc. Therefore, data very important to be properly maintained and stored by the relevant agencies. Nowadays, data are no longer just archived on a piece of paper but also stored in a storage medium that uses internet network to access it. Library and Archives Service (DISPUSIP) in Pekanbaru,Riau Province, Indonesia is a government institution that embodies the seriousness of the local Government in Pekanbaru to educate the life of Indonesia. DISPUSIP Pekanbaru, has problems in managing data storage. In this case, it is necessary to have file management which includes data storage and file sharing in a computer that is made a server, so all data will be stored centrally. Data storage on a server side or known as cloud computing is a technology where is owners data do data storage on server storage or known as cloud storage. Cloud storage used in this study is OwnCloud. After OwnCloud operates, it is required analyzing the use of OwnCloud. OwnCloud is a private cloud service. With OwnCloud, IT can maintain complete control over all documents or archives in DISPUSIP, knowing exactly where the data is at all times and deciding who might or might not have access to certain documents and folders. This analysis is intended to determine the acceptance of Cloud Storage with a OwnCloud that will be assessed by DISPUSIP employees. Analysis in this study will use the Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3) method by revealing the influences of 16 hypotheses. Computer Anxiety has a positive impact on Perceived Ease Of Use, Computer Self Efficacy has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Image has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Job Relevance has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Object Usability has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Output Quality has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use has a positive impact on Behavioral intention, Perceived Ease of Use has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Perceptions of External Control has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Result Demonstrability has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Subjective Norm has a positive impact on Image, Subjective Norm has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Behavioral Intention does not have a positive impact on Use behavior, Computer Playfulness does not have a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment does not have a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness does not have a positive impact on Behavioral Intention. From the test results 12 hypotheses have a positive impact and 4 hypotheses do not have a positive impact on research in DISPUSIP. Abstract

This study aims to design a feeding and drinking tool for pet cats automatically based on SIM900A GSM Module. Design using GSM SIM900A, Arduino, RTC, load cell and Direct Current (DC) pump. This tool can be controlled to feed and drink the cat automatically at a distance. The working system of the tool consists of load cell 1, load cell 2 and water limit sensor which is an input result of measurement object which will be processed by arduino. Load cell 1 is used for measuring cat body weight, load cell 2 serves to measure cat feed weight and water limit function to enable and disable direct current pump. The pump will pump water to fill the cat drinking container if the container is empty. Data received by Arduino will be processed when the Real Time Clock (RTC) indicates the schedule of the cat?s feeder that has been set. Then the SIM900A GSM module will work sending short messages (SMS) to the mobile phone to inform the system has been working automatically feed the cat.

Abstract

The location of the research was carried out at Villa Melati Permai II Housing which is on the Melati Indah Street, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. Villa Melati Permai II is categorized as middle to upper-class housing but does not have its access network. This research will make the modeling of FTTH (Fiber To The Home) networks with network feasibility parameters to produce quality and appropriate FTTH networks. Manual calculation on the feasibility of FTTH networks using the power link budget and rise time budget shows results within the feasibility limit, which does not exceed the maximum limit for the power link budget of -27 dBm and rise time budget below the total time of bit rates. Calculation with NRZ (Non-Return to Zero) coding produces a downstream value of 0.2813 ns and upstream 0.562 ns. System performance parameters that show signal to noise ratio and bit error rate deliver good quality. Signal to noise ratio exceeds the minimum limit of PT. Telkom standard that is 21.5 dB and the bit error rate does not exceed the optical link standard which is 10-9. Good performance is also shown by eye pattern in optical simulation that displays amplitude signals with the same time and shows clear differences between bits 1 and bits 0.

Abstract

Computer networks are one of the main parts in the telecommunications system. To support reliable network technology, a centralized network is needed so that network traffic can be managed more easily. Software-Defined Network (SDN) technology is a centralized network that provides a separation between control planes and data planes in different systems. This study discusses the optimization of network management at the University of Riau (UNRI) using SDN. Optimization is done by designing a UNRI computer network in the form of SDN then simulated using the Mininet. Quality of Service (QoS) analysis is performed from the measurement results using Wireshark. The network simulation results give a delay value of 0.506 ms, 0% packet loss, the throughput of 590,392 Mb / s and jitter of 0.093 ms. The SDN network provides better delay and jitter performance compared to conventional UNRI networks with a delay value of 13,874 ms, 0% packet loss, 635.1 Mb/s throughput and 2.6 ms jitter. UNRI's SDN network design is worth considering because it has better QoS values, delay, and jitter below ITU standards and conventional networks.

Abstract

The design of the utilization of motorcycle wheel rotation for portable battery charging aims to make a device that can be used to charge batteries or gadgets by utilizing motorcycle wheel rotation. This tool works by using the rotation of a motorcycle's wheels into electric power for charging power bank or cell phone needs. This tool consists of 3 parts, namely dynamo, a rectifier circuit, and a regulator circuit. From testing the tools that have been made, it is proven that the device can work and produce an output voltage of 5V and a maximum current of 0.95A. The power produced is 4.75 Watt. This tool can charge a cell phone for 0-100% in 226 Minutes and charge a power bank for 50% for 131 Minutes. The recommended speed of the motorbike when charging is 30Km / h.
