Abstract

Many children with special needs do not have access to education. The number of children with special needs who have to attend primary school is still very minimal. Most schools only provide regular education, while students are ordinary children who do not need special needs in their education. This study aims to describe the model of implementing inclusive education in Tamansari Elementary Schools and find problems in implementing inclusive education. The research method is qualitative interactive. Data collection use interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis uses interactive analysis. The results showed that Tamansari Elementary School used a full class model. Identification and assessment are carried out before accepting students with special needs. This is done to gather information before preparing a learning program for students with special needs according to their learning needs. The curriculum is modified to suit the children’s needs. The special teacher comes from a special school near the location. Supporting factors are the acceptance of children with special needs, local government support in the implementation of inclusive education, while obstacle factors in the application of inclusive education are limited special teachers and limited infrastructure.

Abstract

Teacher’s pedagogical competence can be developed and the quality can be increasedthrough the application of cooperative learning model. By using this model, a teachercould use many interesting methods to improve the students’ interest, motivation andachievement. By this strategy, the learning interaction will be more “many-direction”and learning source diversification. The cooperative learning strategy was directed todevelop the students’ cognitive ability as well as their interpersonal competence.Cooperative learning strategy is one of the alternatives can be used in Islamic Educationfor effective and efficient learning to achieve the determined learning goals.Cooperative learning strategy is psychologically suitable with the students’ socialdevelopment in their age of SD/MI and suitable with their characteristic that is to enjoyworking in groups. Cooperative learning strategy is also a reflection of the Indonesiancharacter namely mutual cooperation. Therefore, the learning should be suitable withthe society condition and the mutual cooperation should be the principle coloring thislearning practice for the students. In the application of cooperative learning, it needs thewillingness and the ability as well as the teachers’ creativity to manage class, so theteacher will be more active especially in making well-done lesson plans, classmanagement in action, and make assignment for students with groups.Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Cooperative Learning Model, Islamic Educationin SD/MI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendskripsikan penerapan metode pembelajaran untuk peserta didik slow learner. SD Negeri Wirosaban merupakan sekolah inklusi di Yogyakarta. Berdasarkan hasil asesmen, 10 dari 14 anak berkebutuhan khusus yang ada termasuk anak slow learner.jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini disebut penelitian deskiptif karena menghasilkan data studi kasus berupa gambaran mengenai metode pembelajaran anak lambat belajar kelas III di SD Negeri Wirosaban Yogyakata.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi berperan serta, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif: reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan metode pembelajaran untuk anak slow learner di SD Negeri Wirosaban adalah  dengan tanya jawab, ceramah dan diskusi dengan demonstrasi. Metode pembelajaran yang dipakai anak slow leaner dan peserta didik normal tidak ada perbedaanya hanya anak slow leaner dimodifikasi dengan tambahan waktu dan tambahan tugas khusus sebagai tindak lanjut. Kegiatan evaluasi seperti tambahan waktu mengerjakan soal untuk anak slow leaner sekarang tidak ada karena full day school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the steps of developing teaching materials in the form of brochures and know the feasibility of teaching brochure materials in learning Islamic Religious Education in primary schools. The method used Research and Development (R & D) with reference to that developed by Borg & Gall. Development steps are product analysis to be developed (needs analysis), initial product development, validation and revision, small-scale field trials and revisions, large-scale field trials and final product acquisition. Data were collected using interview guides, validation sheets, questionnaires, observation sheets, and tests (pre-test and post-test). The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah SD Muhammadiyah Trini Gamping Sleman. The result of the research shows that the development of teaching materials for brochures is feasible to be used for Islamic education learning. By using teaching materials brochure can integrate the spiritual values in the learning process of Islamic religious education to learners in elementary school.

Abstract

One of the common and yet not well understood learning difficulties is dyslexia. Most teachers in Indonesia are still not equipped with enough information or knowledge to enable them to identify this learning difficulty. As such, most students with dyslexia are undiagnosed and as a resulttheir learning needs are not properly met. This paper argues that identification and assessment are important steps to developingan appropriate learning plan for a student with dyslexia. The identification process can be done by teachers through careful and systematic observation. Further, steps of identification can be done through in depth interviews with both students and parents as well as other means of assessment such as assignment or standardized psychological testing.This paper also argues that in the case of dyslexia,early intervention will minimize children’s social and emotional challenges. At the elementary school level the psychological challenges can include low self-esteem, feelings of incompetence, and powerlessness which will easily lead a student with dyslexia to be the object of peer bullying. The absence of proper identification and assessment also often leads teachers and parents to misdiagnose dyslexic children as those with mental disabilities.

Abstract

Aqidah akhlak is one of the topics of Islamic education study program which is urgently and fundamentally importance since it explains and study the values of iman and akhlak. The values of iman and akhlak are fundamental values for student so that she/he could implement the appropriate good religious value and social value. The discussion of aqidah and akhlak becomes important in emerging the knowledge and understanding the iman, meanwhile at the same time the student enables to implement the iman values in his/her real life in the form of good akhlak. This is one of the urgencies of aqidah akhlak education which has a goal to collaborate the concept and the implementation of hablumminallah and hablum minannas fair and well. The pattern of the design and the development of aqidah akhlak teaching should be prepared and implemented well so that the teaching of it will be effective and efficient. By doing so, the goal of teaching will be achieved well.

Abstract

Kecerdasan adalah kemampuan yang dimiliki seseorang yang meliputi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan keahlian untuk menyelesaikan masalahnya.Pada hakikatnya setiap individu memiliki beberapa kecerdasan diantaranya kecerdasan bahasa/linguistik, logis-matematis, visual-spasial, kinestetik, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musikal, dan naturalis. Tetapi kombinasi dan porsi kecerdasan yang dimiliki tiap individu tidak sama tergantung pada bagaimana cara mengembangkan segala kecerdasan yang telah ada.Dengan memahami bahwa tiap individu terlahir dengan berbagai jenis kecerdasan, diharapkan para pendidik tidak hanya menganggap bahwa siswa yang cerdas dan berprestasi hanyalah siswa yang cerdas secara akademik. Karena ada berbagai potensi besar lainnya yang dimiliki siswa selain kemampuan dibidang akademik saja. Kedelapan kecerdasan dapat beroperasi dalam mendampingi secara independen satu sama lain. Berbekal teori kecerdasan majemuk seorang guru secara tidak langsung dapat menguasai dan belajar berbagai metode pembelajaran. Abstract

The research aims to find out the evaluation result of the implementation of four months program of Iqra pass, to know the supporting and inhibiting factors, and to know the follow up plan of the implementation of the four month program pass Iqra. The research used is evaluative research with descriptive data analysis method. Research subjects are principal, teacher coordinator of program implementer. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 3 Yogyakarta by using interview, observation, and documentation. Validity of data using credibility test that is using triangulation of source and technique.The results showed the four-month program Iqra graduated successfully and performed quite well. Supporting factors in the implementation of the program include student activeness, contributions of principals, teachers, learning facilities are quite good, as well as sufficient program funds. As for the inhibiting factors is the lack of parental participation and differences in ability of each child. Based on these results, the four-month Iqra program can be continued by performing several improvements such as in terms of infrastructure, the use of Iqra teaching guidance, and improvements related to the contribution of parents to the program.

Abstract

The behavior of primary school-age students today is very diverse, one of these behaviors are children who are very difficult to manage, can not be silent and as if not paying attention to the lessons in the classroom. These children usually experience emotional and behavioral disorders in its development of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). This study aims to describe the behavior and impact of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the learning process in grade 4 students of SD Negeri Gejayan.This type of research is a type of Descriptive Qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation, interview, and doumentation. The subjects in this research are DA fourth graders of SD Negeri Gejayan. While the data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.The results showed that there was Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) behavior in the learning process in Grade IV of Gejayan State Elementary School which consisted of three behaviors: inattensi, hyperactive and impulsive behavior. The impact of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) behavior affects three aspects including (1) impact on learning process or education, (2) impact on student's behavior in learning process and, (3) impact to social aspect of student in process learning.
