Abstract

PT. Duta Palma Nusantara is a Palm Oil Plantation Company in Kuantan Singingi Regency, has an office to handle information activities ranging from receiving and sending data on palm production using the internet network. The background of this research is uneven Bandwidth allocation on each computer and results in one user can access the internet faster while other users are slower than other users. Therefore, the Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) Method is used using the Queue Tree feature, so that users get evenly distributed Nandwidth. Testing using Microtic Devices, Winbox Software as a configuration. The test results showed that the quality of network bandwidth management using the Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) method on the Queue Tree feature gave better results than without using the PCQ Method because bandwidth was divided according to the rules applied and no Client gets Over Bandwidth as specified. Abstract

School is one of the facilities that used for studying. All of teachers in that school do an assessment for students, this assessment has the function for measuring the extent of student achievement f or one semester in teaching and learning process at SMP Smart Indonesia Pekanbaru. The aspects that assessed are Academic and Non Academic Aspects. Academic Aspects which is include of Main Subjects and Muatan Lokal Subjects, then Non-Academic aspects which is includes of students’ Creativity, Students’Attitudes, and Students’ Absent. The selection of students’ achievement at SMP Smart Indonesia is still done manually and relatively take a long time. So far the selection of students’ achievement has only been determined by based on the Academic Assessment Aspects. So that in selecting of students’ acievement can be done quickly, precisely, fairly and able to combine about Academic and Non-Academic Apects, the researchers built a Decision Support System for Student Achievement Selection with the Weighted Product Method. Weighted Product Method is a decision making method that uses multiplication to link attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute must be raised first with the weight of the attribute in question. By using this system, it can be easier for the school to select students’ achievement. To create a system that aims to select high-achieving students, the researchers took a data collection process that included do an observation with the SMP Smart Indonesia directly, interviews with the Principal, and gave a questionnaire to the teachers in the SMP Smart Indonesia. The calculation results obtained from the system built, which compared with the manual calculation results Weighted Product Method has a value of 100% conformity calculation calculation. Testing the use of this system was also carried out by the school with the results of the assessment percentage of 93.74%, obtained from the accumulation of observations, interviews and questionnaires given to six respondents. These respondents consisted of all teachers at SMP Smart Indonesia. So, it can be concluded that the Achievement Student Support Decision Support System with the Weighted Product Method is feasible to be used in the SMP Smart Indonesia Pekanbaru environment Keywords : Decision Support System, Student Achievement, Weighted Product, SMP Smart Indonesia..

Abstract

In processing data on incoming and outgoing letters in LPP RRI Pekanbaru conducted by the secretary still has shortcomings namely the incoming and outgoing mail files have not been well organized. Inefficient in the process of searching for incoming and outgoing mail files, the secretary has to search one by one the letters stored in the folder, not to mention that the file is missing or scattered then it will take a long time to find the file. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based incoming and outgoing mail archiving information system and whatsapp gateway in LPP RRI Pekanbaru so that it can streamline the time in searching, data collection and making reports of incoming and outgoing letters. The programming language used in Information System Design is PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Javascript, and My Structured Query Language (MYSQL). While the system development method used is the Waterfall method. The results of the test based on the Likert calculation formula are as expected. And the Presentation Accuracy of the Questionnaire is 82.5, so the system is very amenable to use. The conclusion of this research is that it can facilitate the processing of letter data, the process of making reports, and facilitate the process of finding data.Keyword : Information System, Incoming Letters, Outgoing Letters, Disposition

Abstract

Design software interface controlling traffic light intersection ATMega8535 five-basic microcontroller is design to facilitate operator traffic light. This software design involves two different software,software Visual Basic 6.0 and CodeVision avr, Visual Basic 6.0 as a software interface that will send data and CodeVision avr as recipient of the data that is in its hardware. Sending and receiving data here using the existing serial port in komputere that use serial usb rs232 which serves to connect or bridge the respective software sendiri.Pengiriman data through the interface that Visual Basic 6.0, this shipment using the DO pin as data transmission (RX) which in usb serial and in ATMega8535 and received using D1 pin that serves as a data receiver (TX) .Each pin is connected using the USB serial rs232. This method allows an operator to use and change the time when need it. Because the software interface gives the ease of service at rush hour or operarator like solid hours already available, and only enter a number already there dikolom disediakan.Perpindahan in this column automatically, and a solid hour or busy can also be arranged according to the wishes of the operator.Keywords: interface, microcontroller ATMega8535, usb serial

Abstract

The problem of forest and peatland fires in Riau has become main topic to prioritize its revamping. Land and forest fires in Riau until reached 3,700 hectares area, happened in some last years,.Forest and peatland fires occured in the majority of districts in Riau Province, from low category of 4 hectares until 2,800 hectares. This researchdiscusses aboutanalysis of controlling wirelessTemperature Sensor for monitoring Peat-Land fire by using LM35 Temperature Sensor, Transmitter-Module (HC-12), Receiver-Module (HC-12), Arduino-ProMini to produce outputs on LED, LCD, Buzzer. Detector of Peat-Land fire works when it is burning, so heat will spread through aluminium stalk and be read by Temperature-Sensor1 upto Temperature-Sensor4. Output of each sensor is sent to each control block of Arduino-ProMini in Transmitter-Module(FU1?FU4). From Arduino-ProMini, it is sent toReceiver-Module(FU5). Receiver-Module only receives one data from Transmitter-Module in one time. Every data is received by Receiver-Module goes to Arduino-ProMini, processed to produce outputs on LCD that shows ID of FU1?FU4, Peat-Land Status, temperature of Peat Land. If LED is Green, Peat-Land not burned, LED shows SAFE Condition, Buzzer Off. If LED is Yellow, Peat-Land burned underground, LED shows BE-CAREFUL Condition, Buzzer On. If LED is Red, Peat-Land burned on the ground, LED shows DANGER Condition, Buzzer On. Temperature 0°C?21.9°Cis SAFE Category because Peat-Land not burned. Temperature 22°C?28.4°Cis BE-CAREFUL Category because Peat-Land burned underground. Temperature 28.4°C?50°Cis DANGER Category because Peat-Land burned on the ground. This equipment works as its frame work.

Abstract

Using of hybrid plant among battery, photovoltaic (PV) and generator for people in a remote area, can be a solution to overcome shortage of electrical energy caused by the electrical energy company cant not acces it. The aim of this riset is to make a prototype by desaining a switch control battery charger on hybrid plant for suplaying load(s) from households in rural. The Generator and photovoltaic are used to charge battery and supply load(s), while the battery used to supply the load only. There are three electric sources for supplying the load(s), there for, a switch control needed to choose which source will supply the load(s). The main priority of switch control consecutively is battery ,PV,and generator. Controlling it uses a microcontroller ATMega 8535 as relay controller, to connect or disconnect electrical source for suplying battery and load(s), base on voltage examided by a voltage censor. The Minimum limit to supply the load is 10.7 VDC for battery, 18 VDC for photovoltaic. On the other side, generator needs 209 VAC to supply the load. The measuring of voltage censors produce an average error around 0.61%. This prototype works well as it’s framework by controlling the switch control from three different sources to supply the load automatically, based onvoltage used microcontroler.Keywords : Photovoltaic, Battery, Generator, Microkontroler ATMega 8535, Hybrid Plant

Abstract

Hijaiyah Letter or also called the Arabic alphabet can be found in the Holy Book of Islam, the Qur'an. Every Muslim is obliged to read the Qur'an and recognize each of Hijaiyah Letters as its constituent letters in order to read and write in Arabic correctly. Humans are essentially intelligent because they are able to distinguish between one object and another through the object's characteristics or patterns. Certainly it is not difficult to identify a handwriting of Hijaiyah Letters even though written by different people. But it's hard if a machine is trying to identify it. The research aims to establish an Identification System of Hijaiyah Letters based on Gray Level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) using the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network to determine system accuracy results and produce sound output in according to how to read it. Image Data of Hijaiyah Letters obtained from hand-written scanning of five different people with total of Hijaiyah Letters as much as 600 data measuring by 300x300 pixels with extension. JPEG for each letter. GLCM-based systems as the extraction of texture features produce values of Energy, Contrast, Homogeneity, Entropy and Correlation, used as input for the training process of Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. Image Data of Hijaiyah letters used for the training process amounted to 420 letters and 180 letters of testing process. The result of the Hijaiyah Letters Identification System identifies 30 letters from Alif to Ya. The system is able to identify Hijaiyah Letters with an accuracy rate of 96.11% with error 3.89%.Keywords: Hijaiyah Letters, GLCM, Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network, Matlab R2018a.

Abstract

Nowdays traffic jam oftenoccurs at the crossroad of traffic light in Pekanbaru. It is caused by the increasing number of two-wheeled vehicles, four-wheeled vehicles, or more. Besides at the traffic light used are also still active based on the length of time that has been set by the system.it makes more of the long quene on that road, because the time needed for green lamp to be active at every intersection is same. Therefore, it is needed a controlling of traffic lights between can detect any traffic jam. This research makes anapplications of Smart Light Traffic(STL) control system between Tengku Bey street – Kaharudin Nasution street Pekanbaru, crowded uses LD Microsoftware. STL controllingsystem controls the functional length green lamp based on crowded a reading of the traffic light on the thirdcrossroads by proximity sensors. Traffic light active sequence is equal to clockwise traffic light will be actively started with red lamp, followed green lamp and yellow. For normal condition of STL, green lamp actives 20s, yellow lamp3s, and red lamp actives 49s.in peak condition of STL, green lamp actives longer 5s (be 25s), yellow lamp actives still 3s, and red lamp actives 59s. Abstract

Fire is one of the most common disasters. It causes a lot of collateral damages annually. Not just material damages, casualties also took place frequently. In accordance to deter, there’s a lot of challenge faced, for example the difficulties of finding the source of fire as early as possible, that let the fire continue to spread easily. This research attempts to examine how to anticipate the occurrence of a fire that requires a device that works automatically and can detect early and minimize the possibility of widespread fire. Therefore, a tool was designed to prevent all losses cause by fire. One of them is by utilizing early warning system. Device are built using the HC-12 module as the sender and receiver of serial data through the air media. Abstract

At present, PT.Mars Material Mitraindo only uses 2 computers to operate. This makes PT.Mars Material Mitraindo employees have to take turns in using a computer to input financial data. This queue makes employee performance inefficient in terms of time. So PT.Mars Material Mitraindo plans to add 14 units of computers to streamline employee performance. The method used in this research is to analyze in making simulations and designing systems. The first step taken in this study is to analyse of the placement of each computer unit then makes a simulation of it to packet tracer. The second step is to test each computer unit to make sure each computer is connected to each other. The results achieved in this study are an increase in data efficiency by 79.5978% and time efficiency by 78.1835% of the amount of data downloaded by the type of document data.
