TANGGAPAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP TAYANGAN INFOTAINMENT DI TELEVISI

Abstract

The goal of the research is to knowing people perspective, especially to infotaintment assess on Television. That study do at sub-distric Batibati, Tanah Laut Regency, South Borneo Province. Result of researh showing infotaiment assess is a controversial program on television. Infotaiment tend to gossip with detail issues that facts, because infotaiment workers not be with clarification, verification, and confirm every issues will reported. Infotaiment program dominated with Silet, Insert, and Cek and Ricek. Object of reporting is about celebrities life. Aspects lead of celebrities divorces case, marital affair, unregistered marriages, broken-connected status, etc. So that infotaiment program it so deviated from ethics and religion moral, like an open disgrace or privacy other people, so as always violate against ethics of journalistics, break of Act No.40/1999 about Pers, Act No.11/2008 about Information and Electronics Transaction, break of Article 335 from KUHP (Indonesian Pelican Law of Book to Criminal Laws) about unpleasant action, so law is can be finished that, thus be expected infotaiment workers be a quality TV show, because still many positive side from celebirty can be showed on television like a celebrities wedding, birthday, concert to charity, and all.Keywords: Community, Response, Infotaiment, Television Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat, khususnya dalam menilai tayangan infotainment di televisi, studi tersebut dilakukan di Kecamatan Bati-bati Kabupaten Tanah Laut provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tayangan infotainment merupakan program televisi menuai kontroversi. Cenderung mengedepankan gosip secara detail ketimbang fakta, semua pekerja infotainment tidak disertai klarifikasi, verifikasi dan konfirmasi. Maka acara infotainment didominasi oleh silet, disusul Insert kemudian cek and ricek yang mendongkrak rating tinggi dan mengejar bisnis serta mengedepankan sensasional. Objek pemberitaan seputar kehidupan selebritis atau publik figur, menjurus aspek bergunjing tentang kawin cerai, berselingkuh, kawin siri, putus sambung pasangan artis dll, sehingga tayangan infotainment cenderung menyimpang dari etika dan moral agama, seperti membuka aib orang atau privasi orang lain, sehingga selalu melanggar etika jurnalistik, melanggar UU No. 40 tahun 1999 tentang pers. UU No. 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronika (ITE), melanggar UU RI No. 32 tahun 2002 tentang penyiar dan pasal 335 KUHP tentang perbuatan tidak menyenangkan, maka hukumlah yang bisa menyelesaikannya. Dengan demikian diharapkan pekerja infotainment akan menyajikan tayangan yang bermutu, sebab masih banyak sisi positif selebritis atau publik figur yang bisa diangkat dilayar kaca seperti perkawinan selebritis, ulang tahunnya, konser-konser bantuan Kata Kunci : Tanggapan, Tayangan Infotainment, Televisi
