Abstract

This study is aimed at revealing the functions of human resource management in MAN  Yogyakarta III (State Islamic Senior High School) that includes human resource planning, recruitment, selection and placement, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation,   health program,  teacher  and employee relation  and the effectiveness of  human resource  management.This study is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study are the principal, teachers, employees and students of MAN Yogyakarta III. The data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interview and documentation. The technique employed to measure the data validity was triangulation. The research instrument was the researcher herself. The data were analyzed using interactive model consisting of three phases:  data reduction, data display, and verification.The findings show that MAN Yogyakarta III (1) arranges  human resource  planning based on the vision, however, it is not effective because madrasah has no right to plan; (2) recruits competent teachers and employees effectively through  news paper; (3) sets four types of effective selection: administration selection, academic selection, interview and micro teaching and positions the teachers and employees based on their academic qualification and competences; (4) implements effective   training  and  development  programs   in  accordance  with  the  teachers` and employees` needs such as sharing ideas and knowledge, comparative study, internal presentation,  evaluation and coordination; (5) appraises performance by checking the administration of teaching and supervision but the  implementation of performance appraisal is not effective. (6) gives the effective compensation for the teachers and employees  in accordance with their   status; (7) undertakes effective health programs by creating clean and healthy school  environment; (9) organizes some programs to establish  effective relationship between the teachers and  employees.

Abstract

ABSTRACTChanges in education in modern society in the era of the expectation that is in accordance with the needs of the community, especially to meet the needs in the field of education through the inculcation of Islamic values in the teaching and learning process of students. Islamic education is expected to be an education that is not only as knowledge but Islamic education must be able to be applied to personal learners to the fullest as Muhaimin said that Islamic education that is currently underway in several Islamic educational institutions is more dominant in the transfer of knowledge, while the practical aspects are not serious maximum attention. the transfer of knowledge is very important but far more important is the practice of science itself through Islamic values.Basically, Islamic education is sourced from the Al-Qur'an and Hadith therefore a person who wants to develop the concept of Islamic education must base on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith in an Islamic-based educational institution starting from the stake holders of existing Islamic educational institutions, Therefore, in applying Islamic education there must be Islamic values that must be carried out continuously, so that Islamic education can be applied by stakeholders in Islamic-based institutions, so that these values can become a culture that must be implemented in the environment of Islamic education institutions with such institutions can be good and advanced in the eyes of society or government.Studying KH. Salahudin Wahid Hasyim in the concept of Islamic education, he tried to present the concept of Islamic education through Islamic values that originate from the Qur'an and hadith, such as sincerity, honesty, responsibility, hard work and tolerance (tasamuh). These values must be implemented in the world of Islamic education and Islamic education institutions. Islamic education which is based on the values of the Koran and Hadith provides an opportunity for all students to be directly involved in developing their abilities and talents, so that students are able to become good human beings, have good morals and have active, creative and innovative abilities in accordance with values - the value of good Islamic education.  Keywords: Islamic Education Value, KH. Abstract

Early childhood learning uses the principle of playing while learning so that it must be arranged so that it is fun, uplifting, and democratic. Quantum Learning is a learning method that is loaded with edutainment concepts. Based on the studies conducted, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) Quantum learning and edutainment both emphasize the urgency of a pleasant and easy atmosphere; (2) Equally starting from the world of non-education; (3) Both give primary attention to an exciting learning process, which involves physical-sensory, emotional, and suggestive beliefs; (4) Quantum learning and edutaintment are able to foster student confidence; (5) Quantum learning builds student learning skills through a variety of cutting-edge discoveries, and edutainment continually seeks to facilitate optimal learning processes; (6) Quantum learning and edutaintment simultaneously build effective communication to students. Keywords: learning, quantum learning, edutaintmen

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study focuses on the taÍfÍ al Qur’an education model conducted by KH. M. Arwani in the Islamic Boarding School Yanbu'ul Holy Qur'an. The author in conducting this research uses a literature study and a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the research that the authors did found several educational concepts memorizing the Qur'an according to KH. M. Arwani Amin, among others; 1. Sincerity, 2. Obedience  3. Importance of Quality, 4. Patience and Thoroughness. The method applied in PTYQ, namely the pesantren which he initiated as the following; 1. The musyrifahah method, 2. Recitation method, 3. takrÊr method, 4. MudÉrasah method, and 5. Test method.While the Al-Qur'an memorization system at the pesantren which is fostered by KH. M. Arwani is divided into five groups or classes, namely: Preparation Class, Class I, Class II, Class III, and Special Classes. “Adab“  learning and memorizing the Qur'an in  accordance with KH. M. Arwani Amin, covering adab before memorizing the Qur'an, must be based on sincerity, and adab when memorizing the Qur'an, namely; always pray and always obey all the rules of the teacher and the pesantren. Keywords: Al-Qur'an, Tahfidz, Education, M. Abstract

This article is based on the library reseach using an analysis content. This research is trying to analyse an Islamic education based on Abdurrahman wahid or Gus Dur’s thought, before he was elected as the fourt President of RI periode, from 1970 to 1998. This essay is based on the text written by Gus Dur, whether in the form of books, articles, newspaper section and any other types of the text , and also the papers from other figures who tried to interprete his thought. Based on Abdurrahman Wahid, the unclear national education direction programmed by the government - since colonial period until the reform era , that did not eliminate the colonial era heritage - is to create "kelas kerani". This class featured an alternative education concept with Paulo Freire and Ivan Illich as the figure with their oppressive education system as the main concept or the domination of strong people to the weak people. Based on Gus dur, the alternative education proposed by Paulo Friere still has the weaknesses in the approach used. It is still political in the confrontative context to the ruler. Therefore, this can make the confrontation against the ruler. This is not appropiate with the Indonesian society character who are not easy to accept the paradigm “ the confrontation between “the have and the have not”. Thus, Gus Dur offered “an alternative education” with the cultural approach” represented by “ Islamic Boarding School”.Keywords: National Education, Islamic Education, Islamic Boarding

Abstract

This paper is motivated by there are some dishonesty in the community, such as hoax news, hate speech, prejudice, cheating, corruption, theft, fraud, robbery that cause anxiety, mutual suspicion and disharmony in social life. Why does this happen? Because teachers at school and parents at home can not build honest characters to their children. Therefore, this writing will describe how teachers and parents form an honest character in children. Stages of character formation will be correlated with psychological theory. The results of the study found that to educate an honest character, children are not only given cognitive knowledge about honesty, but also must touch the level of affection domain and implemented in real behavior.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time has developed rapidly. Several Android-based applications have been created and used in various fields. One of them is in the field of learning through gadgets. Android applications for learning quite a lot make it easier to carry out various activities to support productivity. It cannot be denied that gaming is one of the big industries today. Games can be an alternative entertainment to fill spare time and be a very fun activity for children. Various kinds of games currently being developed are based on Desktop / PC (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.), Mobile (Symbian, Java, Android, iOS), and Web-based (HTML5, Flash). One type that is developing currently is RPG (Role Playing Game) because besides being popular and much in demand by game players, RPG is a type of game that is simple and fun to play. This RPG game contains various features and has an interesting game play. When one examines the necessity to learn the Alquran with technological developments, as well as its popular features, an idea is born to create a new learning innovation that can make it easier for children to learn and understand the Qur'an. This game was created using the RPG Maker VX Ace Game engine with the Ruby programming language because of its simplicity and high level of flexibility. This RPG Maker VX Ace game engine adopts an event script system, where events are specified in the map. Keywords: Alquran, Aplication, Android

Abstract

Islam as a worldview has a different point of view from other religion and civilisation perspective to see the world. This point of view is reflected and accumulated in the key concept understood from the main Islamic teaching source, Al-Qur’an and Sunnah. For example, related to the concept of science in the western civilisation. The concept of science in Islam has an effect on the goal orientation of Islamic education, that is different from the goal orientation of the western education. These Islamic Education goal are: Producing human being, having a good moral value, who can put something based on the real honor, using the right ways to reach the correct goal, and struggling for something to reach the right goal. The concept of science in Islam has an orientation to curriculum and classroom learning process. The education curriculum has to be developed integrally. Integrate between fardhu ‘ain and fardhu kifayah science development. In addition, the implementation of this can be dinamic. In the learning process of courtesies related to the science, the courtecies of the relationship between teacher and student in the educative interaction has to be implemented.Keywords: The concept of science, courtecy, and education

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the implementation of strategy of the teacher  in selectif the method variation on the learning of SKI in MTs. Miftahul Ulum Weding Bonang Demak and how is the positive response of learners to the variation of methods on learning SKI in MTs. Miftahul Ulum Weding Bonang Demak.The method used in this study is a qualitative method, data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation, and documentation.The result s of this study are: 1) there are variations of strategy used by the teacher on learning SKI in MTs. Miftahul Ulum, the consideration of using strategies are: the healt condition of learners; the psychological condition of learners; the scheduled time for SKI subjects;the contens of the SKI lesson material to be delivered. 2) positive response of learners to the variation of methods on learning SKI in MTs. Miftahul Ulum is shown by the spirit of learning when the lesson of SKI is delivered by using variation of learning method, the learners are not sleepy when subjects of SKI are delivered with varied method, they feel good and not bored when SKI lesson is presented by using varied method, lacking of the subject of SKI organized by the school, and felt the need to add additional hours of SKI subject. Keywords: method variation, learning SKI

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Arabic learning model in SMP Kartini Bumi in an effort to improve the ability of Arabic-speaking students, besides that this study also attempts to explain some of the inhibiting factors and factors that support the implementation of intensive Arabic language programs (extracurricular activities) carried out in the boarding environment school in the Bumi Kartinid SMPUT in an effort to improve the ability of the Arabic language students in addition to the Arabic subjects that they actually get in learning in the classroom as subjects of local content. The focus of the problem in this study included: (1) the model for implementing Arabic learning at SMP Kartini Bumi, (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of intensive Arabic language programs. This research uses descriptive analytical method by collecting data from interviews, observation and documentation, the data is collected and analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it was found that the Arabic learning model in SMPUT Bumi Kartini used a direct learning model that is the teacher conveying the content of the subject matter in a structured and structured manner, directing the activities of the students, and maintaining the focus of academic achievement. the forms are in the form of Arabic (local content) and school extracurricular subjects. Extracurricular activities aim to support the improvement of students' ability to speak Arabic which is implemented in intensive classroom activities in Arabic, and Bilingual Club. Language intensive extracurricular activities are held every day after school, even though these activities are carried out on school boarding, but the intensive class is included in the extracurricular activities of the school. The main purpose of the direct learning model is to maximize the use of student learning time. Which in practice students practice it using Arabic in their daily lives in the boarding school environment. The supporting factor remains the implementation of intensive language classes is the existence of adequate infrastructure and students who are very enthusiastic in attending intensive language classes. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of teachers and the lack of varied learning media used in the learning process. Keywords: learning model, Arabic, SMPUT Kartini
