Abstract

Inventory control of raw materials is veryimportant in proses production in thecompany, without inventory control, thecompany will face the risk that the companycannot production goods and fulfill thecustomer demand on time.PT Sidomuncul Pupuk Nusantaraimplemented the Min-Max method in theirinventory control of Biolit but in the actualthis method does not fit properly. They ordersraw materials still available by aconsiderable amount in the warehouse andwith quantity between 100-300kg per orders,there is over stock.EOQ method and POQ method could solvethat problem, they could determine the orderquantity become more economical, minimizereorder cost, and storage costs. Inventorycontrol will be optimal if PT SidomunculPupuk Nusantara used EOQmethod becausethe company does not require warehouse withgreat capacity for saving their quantity,thecarrying cost for biolit will be less,depreciation can also be reduced, theinsurance cost will be less. Frequency ofpurchases for EOQ method as much as 42times a year with quantity of 26 kg per orders.EOQ method can save the inventory cost ofraw materials as much as Rp127.985.727,-from Rp 182.053.200 (actual state of thecompany) to be Rp54.067.473 (EOQ Method)

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to find out (1) The influence of physical work environment on employees’ work motivation at PT. Pusri Palembang, PPD Jateng, (2) The influence of non-physical work environment on employees’ work motivation at PT. Pusri Palembang, PPD Jateng, and (3) work environment on employees work motivation at PT. Pusri Palembang, PPD Jateng.  This study was a survey method with questionnaires, and literature study.  The sample in this study were 35 employees’ of the PT. Pusri Palembang, PPD Jateng.   The data analysis technique used was multiple regression.  From the analysis of multiple regression in this research, it could be found that the physical work environment and non-physical work environment had positive impact on the employees’ work motivation.  The most dominant variable that positively influenced the employees’ work motivation was the non physical work environment.  While from the result of determination coefficient (Adjusted R Square) showed that 0,46 or 46% of the independent variable were physical work environment and non-physical work environment.  It meant that 46% of the employees’ work motivation was explained by work environment.  While  54% was explained by other factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of customer relationship managementwhose variable consist of continuity marketing, one to one marketing, and partnering programon the customer loyalty at PT Garuda Indonesia (persero) Tbk branch office Semarang. Dataobtained from literature search and spreading of the questionnaire to 100 respondents bypurposive sampling techniques. Meanwhile, the analysis techniques uses validity test, reliabilitytest, normality test, multikolinearity test, heteroskedasticity test, linearity test, multiple linierregression analysis, T test, F test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the calculationsusing SPSS version 24, the result of the research showed that the regression equation Y = 0,117+ 0,313 + 0,494 + 0,189 + e. It means that continuity marketing, one to one marketing,and partnering program have significant and positive influence on the customer loyalty. Themost influence variable is one to one marketing with the highest coefficient regression of 0,494.The coefficient of determination test is 0,490. It means that the customer loyalty of 49,0% isinfluenced by continuity marketing, one to one marketing, and partnering program. While therest of 51,0% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

This research is purposed to find out whether there was any direct or indirect significant and positive influence between service quality which consist of 5 indicators: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible, price, customers’ satisfaction to customers’ loyalty. The population of this research are all exporters of PT.Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang in 2016 which are 80 exporters. The sample technique used for this research is saturation sample which means all exporters. The analysis technique used was path analysis.The result shows that the F test for regression stage 1 and 2 are higher than F table so it is concluded that there is an influence between Service Quality and Price variable to Exporter’s Satisfaction simultaneously or H3 is accepted, and hypothesis that there is an influence between Service Quality, Price, and Exporter's Satisfaction to Exporter’s Loyalty simultaneously or H7 is also accepted. Partially, based on t test for regression coefficient stage 1 and 2, price is proved to have the biggest influence directly and indirectly to customer loyalty with regression coefficient between 3,485 and 4,362. While the coefficient of determination (R test) is obtained by adjusted R2 value = 0.608 = 60.8% shows that the influence of Service Quality, Price, Exporter's Satisfaction on Exporter’s Loyalty is 60,8%, and the influence of other variables that influence the value of exporter's satisfaction variable beyond this research is 39,2%.It is recommended that PT.Samudera Perdana Selaras Semarang provides services as promised and in accordance with customer’s expectations, also by improving the service quality by 24 hours availibility of services whether there is a change or no change of stuffing or loading and unloading schedule.

Abstract

Indonesia's competitiveness as a determinant factor of the term of trade, that has been declining in recent years, due to the sluggish world trade triggered by the economic slowdown in China, as well as the increamental of the Fed’s interest rate, is very influence to stability of the exchange rate in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze and assess the influence ofthe competitiveness effects on the term of trade, and its impact to stability of the exchange rate in Indonesia. The secondary data of the research is time series for 22 years from 1995 until 2016. The research method used is explanatory research to explain the causal relationship between  variables in a model, through hypothesis test. Analytical technique used linear regression. The result of the research shows significant influence between the competitiveness  variable on the term of trade, and its impact has significant effect to stability of the exchange rate in Indonesia

Abstract

Object of this article is the culinary industry in Semarang. This article was formulated based on the important fact is found in the field. Where the facts show competition in the culinary industry at this time spawned creativity in formulating the business name of culinary and culinary quality. This is a unique name on one side in an effort to build differentiation to competitors and at the same time aims to influence customer satisfaction. While in the culinary industry it remains an aspect of quality of other important things into superior value. This article attempts to explore further the factors that led to the better culinary value and how the value of culinary and business names into determinants of customer satisfaction. Formulation variables and indicators of the article refer to the previous article. A model has been developed and four hypotheses have been formulated to address the problem of this article. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and quota sampling. Respondents from this article numbered 100 respondents, of which the respondent is a culinary consumer around Semarang State Polytechnic. Data analysis tool used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS 18.0 program. The results of the data analysis this article shows the results of the model and the fourth hypothesis can be accepted article. Managerial implications of providing advice to focus on the indirect effect culinary quality on customer satisfaction around Semarang State Polytechnic through consumer value have the most dominant coefficient.

Abstract

Based on the research background,, the problem in this research is the sewing department never reached the production target in 2018. The purposes of this research are to find out influence of work motivation on employee performance at PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill branch of Mpu Tantular Semarang, compensation on employee performance at PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill branch of Mpu Tantular Semarang, and work motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill branch of Mpu Tantular Semarang. Data collection used are questionnaires, interview, and literature review. The sample in this study are 80 employees of the sewing devison at  PT Pantjatunggal Knitting Mill branch of Mpu Tantular Semarang. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. From the analysis of multiple regression in this research, could be found that the work motivation and compensation influence employee performance. The most dominant variable that influence the employee performance is the work motivation. While from the result of determination coefficient (Adjusted R Square) shows that 0,319 or 31,9% of the independent variable are work motivation and compensation. It means that 31,9% of the employee performance is explained by work motivation and compensation. While 68,1% wis explained by other factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN yang dimulaitahun 2016 membuat persaingan industrisemakin meningkat, tak terkecuali industriasuransi kerugian. Underwriting sebagaitonggak dari bisnis asuransi merupakan kuncidari daya saing perusahaan. Maka dari itu PTAsuransi MSIG Indonesia memerlukanstrategi rekrutmen dan seleksi yang idealuntuk merekrut karyawan bagianunderwriting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialahuntuk (1) Mengidentifikasi pelaksanaanrekrutmen dan seleksi di PT Asuransi MSIGIndonesia, (2) Mengidentifikasi faktor, aktor,tujuan, dan alternatif skenario yangmempengaruhi penentuan strategi rekrutmendan seleksi bagi Underwriting Staff, (3)Menentukan strategi rekrutmen dan seleksikaryawan yang ideal untuk UnderwritingStaff di PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia. Datayang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahprimer dan sekunder. Metode yang digunakanadalah Proses Hierarki Analitik (PHA)dengan non probability purposive samplingkepada pakar. Hasil pengolahan menunjukkanstrategi terbaik yang digunakan adalah denganbidding atau promosi untuk mengisi posisiunderwriting.

Abstract

This study aims to forecast the polyesterusage for the upcoming 12 months and to findout the suitable method of imported rawmaterial inventory control in PT Apparel OneIndonesia by comparing and analyzing theimplementation of JIT concept and EOQmethod as well as to determine the safetystock and reorder point in inventoryprocurement of the company. The data usedin this study are secondary data of importedraw material procurement system, the costsassociated with raw materials inventory2015-2016 and other relevant data. Polyesteris observed since it is imported fabric rawmaterial which mostly used in the company.The polyester usage predicted by regressionis continuously increases per month. Theforecasting result can be accepted becausethe tracking signal value is not more than ± 4.Whereas, EOQ method is more suitable to beused by the company since the inventory costis lower than the cost applying JIT concept. Itis possible to save 13% or 9,512,693.3 IDR.Moreover, by applying EOQ method, it alsodetermines the reorder point (ROP) andsafety stock inventory to guarantee thesmoothness of production activities. Thecompany can purchase raw materials whenthe quantity of inventory is amounted to375.547 yards (ROP), while the safety stockof polyester fabric is 43,006 yards.
