Abstract

In the taxonomy of Benjamin S. Bloom there are three domains of education, namely the realm of thinking (cognitive domain), the realm of values ​​or attitudes (affective domain), and the realm of skills (psychomotor domain). These three domains of education are the objectives of education in Indonesia, as stated in the Republic of Indonesia Law number 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system to develop the potential of students to become people of faith, and devote to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens, so we can conclude that the cognitive domain is knowledge. The affective domains are faithful and pious, noble, independent, democratic, responsible. The psychomotor domain is healthy, capable, creative. These three areas must be targeted in every learning evaluation activity. In measuring the learning outcomes of affective areas, including difficult because it involves areas of attitude and appreciation. Affective evaluation deals with the formation and change of attitude.

Abstract

Multiculturalism in UNDARIS is not only limited to cultural diversity, but also to various aspects especially related to education developed by religious lecturers as educators in tertiary institutions. Practical multiculturalism in question is the ability of lecturers and students in adapting themselves to the environment in which there are a variety of cultures, regions and religions. The most important element in character building is the mind, in which there are all programs that are formed from his life experience, is the forerunner of everything. This program then forms a belief system that can eventually form patterns of thinking that can influence his behavior. The awareness of differences in belief has increasingly been understood as a necessity, moreover driven by the condition that the difference becomes a beauty realized by lecturers and members of UNDARIS. Commitment to having the ability to capture differences is one vehicle for character building.

Abstract

Every individual who is on this earth is inseparable from a country where he is affiliated with him, so he is obliged to respect and even defend him with all his abilities even though he must sacrifice all his body and soul. The concept of a nation state (nation state) is one of the political concepts of a state (state) or community group that is jointly bound by general loyalty and solidarity. This understanding explains the nation state is a territorial entity where the state is as large or coextensive as the nation. The Nation State in the contemporary Islamic world is upheld by a spirit of nationalism or a spirit accompanied by high awareness to build a nation state. The debate about the nation state sounds strange when it is clashed with the ethics of the Qur'an and the historical setting of Islam (Rahman calls it Historical Islam). Historical facts show that throughout the life of the Prophet Muhammad, as concluded by Rahman, the Messenger of Allah was the Ruler of almost the entire Arabian peninsula, but he never called himself a ruler. At that time the term Islamic state (Daulat al-Islam) was not yet known. the charter of Medina is the forerunner to the formation of a Nation State (nation state) and places the Prophet Muhammad not only as a religious leader, but also as a leader of the country. Therefore nationalism in the perspective of classical Islamic repertoire can actually be seen in the formation of the Medina Charter which was carried out by the Prophet Muhammad together with the inhabitants of Medina.

Abstract

It is undeniable that religion is something that is needed by humans. Where religion is used as a benchmark and guide for the survival of his life. Therefore, it is very necessary the implementation of religious research that can make a major contribution in understanding what religion really is. In Indonesia, religion research has begun to emerge, but the results do not contribute to understanding what religion is. This was revealed by H. A. Mukti Ali who explained that religious research so far had not used the right method in its implementation. So he formulated a method called the synthesis method in response to his anxiety about the shortcomings of religious research so far. Through this method, religious research developed by Mukti Ali can produce the latest research results related to understanding of religion, including Islam. Because what is obtained is not only doctrinal, but also scientific in studying matters of religion. Thus, religious research can contribute or contribute to various other scientific disciplines, such as social, cultural, political, economic, including can also make a major contribution to the development of the concept of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of cross-cultural and religious counseling services in MTs Negeri Yogyakarta 2, as well as the effectiveness of these services in helping students overcome the problem of independence in emotional aspects. This type of research is qualitative field research. The research subjects were grade IX students, who had different cultural and religious backgrounds. The data collection method uses the method of observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques using critical analytical methods. The results showed that MTs Negeri Yogyakarta 2 had implemented cross-cultural and religious counseling services well, and proved to be effective in dealing with students' problems regarding the problem of independence in emotional aspects. This can be shown from the existence of significant changes from students regarding their interactions with peers, as well as their ability to determine future choices in the career field. The data obtained can be formulated into alternative paradigms by counselors or guidance and counseling teachers in providing cross-cultural and religious guidance and counseling services in schools.

Abstract

Competition in education becomes inevitable, many educational institutions are abandoned by customers so that the negative dynamics of some educational institutions. Meanwhile, Islamic educational institutions, especially madrassas, are still overwhelmed by second-class education institutions with a favorable level under public education institutions. There are still many people who are lacking or even not yet know madrasah. Therefore, many changes have to be made, especially madrasah related to the management pattern. Madrasahs as education service providers need to learn and have a passion for increasing customer satisfaction because education is a circular process that is facing each other and sustainable. The madrasah initiative starts from finding out. In a world full of innovation, competition and expansion, marketing terms need to be redefined. The marketing of educational services in Madrasahs does not necessarily mean commercialization, but prioritizes quality education, and provides excellent service to its stakeholders, thereby providing satisfaction to the community that can be beneficial in increasing the "selling point" of Madrasahs.

Abstract

In the modernization era, pesantren as one of the Islamic educational institutions can not only be silent and run traditional learning methods and systems, if they do not want to be left behind. Therefore, pesantren need a lot of changes in meeting the demands of the times. Various ideas and opinions also emerged along with the start of modernization in the world of pesantren. However, pesantren still cannot be fully reconstructed by modernism in Indonesia. Because pesantren, besides being the oldest Islamic education institution in Indonesia, is also a cultural asset of the nation that is religious in nature. This can be seen from the existence of elements of cultural originality, such as pesantren buildings, dormitory systems, several types of teaching that are absorbed from certain regional cultures and so on. So pesantren in the modernization era face a very heavy dilemma, on the one hand he must try to adjust to the changing times that require him to leave the traditional systems and methods. On the other hand he must maintain the nation's sublime culture that is identical with religiosity and norms so as not to participate in the plagiarization of Western culture.

Abstract

This study is to examine the effect of teacher efficacy (TE), emotional intelligence (EI), on classroom management (CM) moderated by transformational leadership style (TLS) in Randudongkal District Private Vocational Schools. The research population was the Randudongkal Islamic Vocational Teachers, 7 Randudongkal Muhammadiyah Vocational Teachers, Mejagong TIO Vocational Teachers, Randudongkal 3 Vocational School Teachers in Randudongkal District, amounting to 185 people. Research data is primary data obtained directly from respondents with a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression using SPSS for Windows program. The results of the study were: teacher efficacy had no effect on classroom management, emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on classroom management, transformational leadership style had a positive and significant effect on classroom management.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify and analyze 1) The Influence of motivation on Islamic Primary School (MI) Teacher’s Commitment; 2) The effect of religiosity on Islamic Primary School (MI) Teacher’s Commitment 3) The Influence of motivation and religiosity on Islamic Primary School (MI) Teacher’s Commitment. The method used for this research was descriptive method with quantitative approach. The populations were all Islamic Primary School teachers in Pamulang, South Tangerang. The data were collected by using questioners of motivation, religiosity and teacher’s commitment. Those were analyzed by descripting and inferential whereas the hypothesis test used multiple linear regressions. Result: 1) There was influence between motivation on teacher’s commitment with the coefficient correlation 0,606, it was indicated that motivation gave the impact on teacher’s commitment 60,6 % in the strong category. 2) There was influence between religiosity on teacher’s commitment with the coefficient correlation 0,565, it was indicated that religiosity gave the impact on teacher’s commitment 56,5 % in the medium category. 3) There was simultaneously influence between motivation and religiosity on teacher’s commitment with the coefficient correlation 0,669.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Jigsaw method (X1) and the Quiz Team (X2) method on the Courage of Opinion (Y). In this study, data were collected through questionnaire techniques on students of Islamic Education Department respondents in the Faculty of Education and Teaching Sciences on IAIN Pekalongan by using cluster sampling method to determine respondents' responses to each variable. The data is processed so as to produce multiple regression equations as follows: Y = (28,228) + (-0,148) X1 + (0,596) X2. The results of the analysis found that the Jigsaw method and the Quiz Team method simultaneously had a positive and significant influence on Courage of Opinion. Hypothesis testing using t test shows that the Jigsaw method has proven to be insignificant towards Courage of Opinion of -0.148. Whereas the Quiz Team method is proven to be significant and influences the Courage of Opinion of 0.596. Then through the F Test can be known the Jigsaw method and the Quiz Team method both simultaneously influence positively and significantly in increasing Courage of Opinion.
