Abstract

Education is a planned effort in the process of guidance and learning for individuals to grow and grow into an independent human being, responsible, creative, knowledgeable, healthy, and noble good seen from the physical and spiritual aspects. Humans of noble character, who possess high morality are strongly demanded to be formed or built. Given the present and future conditions, the preparation of the next generation of characteristic nations is a vital necessity. This is done to prepare for global challenges and national competitiveness. Departing from the phenomenon, it is necessary strengthening the character of the students so that they can form a strong and tough person, which is done through education. Education is the most effective means to build and nurture the character of learners. character education aims to improve the quality of education implementation and results in schools that lead to the achievement of character formation and noble character of learners intact, integrated, and balanced in accordance with the principles derived from the cultural values of the nation and religion

Abstract

Poetry is an old Malay literary work that rhymes after pantun, seloka, and gurindam. Appeared at the end of the 17th century AD. Pioneered by an Indonesian Sufi cleric. He is from Barus City (present: Singkil, Aceh), living in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. In his lifetime he is a mufti Kesuthanan Islam Aceh Darussalam. The most important element that distinguishes poetry with other old Malay literature is the final sound of his poetry. If the pantun uses the A-B-A-B, and the A-A-B-B cultivation, the verse is A-A-A-A. Another thing that distinguishes it from its predecessor on the content format. Where, pantun or gurindam on the first and second lines in a stanza contains a sentence (introductory) sentence, and the third and fourth lines are the content or message content. While the verse, the four lines in one stanza are all contents, or the content of the message the poet wishes to convey. In addition, in poetry, in a single line can be composed of three words, while in pantun never got a model like this. The inspired verse of the Arabic literary form, syiir, the structure and style can not be separated from the influence of the Arab syiir. Some of the direct influences of Arabic syiir include the ending sounds of poetry, containing the dawah and teachings of Islam, writing at the beginning of its emergence using Arabic letters in Malay, many using Arabic terms and quotations, and decorated by natural symbolic words which is often used by Arabic Sufi poets.

Abstract

Initiated by none other than education to defend humanity as a whole through physical and psychological dimensions. Therefore, education can not be reduced merely to deliver students a mere material satisfaction, while the value immersiaal as social, spiritual and transcendental. Therefore, the curriculum should be developed on the basis of social conditions, culture and history which is held up the process of education or it is called place-based education. This brief paper will try to indigenous community "Sedulur sikep" perspective or better known as Samin in scrutinizing the school children which is not sensitive to social phenomena such as natural disasters and the environmental sustainability. Important message of this paper asserts that the most basic education is delivered into the individual learners who have senses of curiosity, so they still learn though it is complete / graduate school at their level. So awareness of lifelong learning woke up and could open eyes and mind to always seek and find wisdom so that the parts coming civilized community will wake up.

Abstract

Ratu Adil means a just leader who leads the just and at the same time spreading the justice. According to Ronggowarsita there will be seven Ratu Adil. It turns out that the first Ratu Adil until the sixth has the criteria that match the first RI president to sixth. The seventh fair is the Satria Pinandhita Sinisihan Wahyu. He is a knight, that is someone who is familiar with the state administration. He is also a religious scholar who walks on the revelations of God. Ratu Adil is only limited to be understood as a prophecy for the coming of a character to bring goodness. This is the problem, should be seen as a concept of national leadership that needs to be realized for the progress of Indonesia. Abstract

From the first writing of 1612 to the final version in 1836, the Babad Tanah Jawi (BTJ) has always been debated mainly regarding its function as genre, prophecy, historical narrative, genealogical prototypes, and testimonial structures on Javanese history. Nevertheless, it is rare for the study of how Islam Nusantara, specifically described in the Babad Tanah Jawi, is considered to have a problematic double genealogy as the effect of the breaking down of the basket between Batara Guru and Prophet Adam, a discrepancy that reflects Islam Nusantara as the result of a syncretistic forces between (Islam) Demak and (Hindu) Majapahit. This study seeks to illustrate the scholarly contestation of the double gynowogy of the Islamic revival of the archipelago after the fall of Majapahit and its implications for the ambivalent narratives of insurrection in Babad Tanah Jawi, a text that sparked much debate among anthropologists, philologists and archaeologists of the world, Pararaton and Nagarakertagama - many referred by anyone who wants to learn about Islam and Javanese kings.

Abstract

Understanding of fiqh (Islamic law) - by linking it to the socio-cultural conditions of Indonesian society and the spirit to restore its function as a guide - continues to be made by Muslim scholars and intellectuals in the country. Throughout the years 1970 to 2000, appeared figures whose ideas and ideas surfaced. Their thinking becomes a topic in various discussion forums of Islamic law, both in the environment of pesantren, civitas academika, and in social institutions. One of these figures is KH. M.A. Sahal Mahfudh who not only carry the discourse with his book Nuansa Fiqh Sosial, but also has done a lot of social movements in the framework of implementation of his thinking. Fiqh as a practical derivation of the teachings of the Quran and Hadist actually has a position that distinguishes it apart from other scientific disciplines. Fiqh also serves as a normative foundation for behaving Muslims, either individually or collectively. However, the formalistic fiqh character is not infrequently invite a contradiction with the theological life of the human life. Therefore, KH. MA Sahal Mahfudh carries the Social Fiqh which he calls the development effort of madhhab qouli and manhaji in the framework of fiqh is no longer as a rigid positive law, but denotes it as social ethics and the foundation for social movements in realizing the ideals of human life , saadatuddaraini (happiness in the world and the hereafter).

Abstract

Culture is a value, norm, morals and beliefs, assumptions that are believed by the commodities of society. A culture that expresses a persons behavior is distorted, right, wrong, or good. As social beings, human beings give birth to systems of thinking, values, norms, rules and beliefs. However, humans also become part of what it produces. When human life moves with its dynamics, the dynamically moving is the systematic it has produced. Cultural education is done through the education of values or virtues that become the basic values of the nations culture. The virtue that attributes culture is essentially value. Therefore, cultural education is basically the development of values derived from the perspective of life or ideology of the Indonesian nation, religion, culture, and values formulated in the goals of national education.

Abstract

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a meaning and role that is very urgent in order to improve the standard of living and maintain tolerance in a diverse society. The journey of pesantren as an institution that concentrates on the field of education requires mutual attention. The existence of Pesantren is the mandate of the nation, even before the independence of Indonesia, while its implementation at the moment is the implementation of the joint responsibility in accordance with the mandate in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of paragraph IV and Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. The development in Indonesia is carried out by various institutions education both general education and Islamic education that has a different background. The Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution that is built and developed in Indonesia is one type of Islamic education of Indonesia that is both traditional and modern to deepen the knowledge of Islam, live in society and nation. Historically, the development of pesantren in Indonesia has different backgrounds, styles and roles, as well as the struggle to realize national educational goals framed in Islamic religious education. Thus, in this study will be discussed a brief history of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic education in Indonesia as well as about pesantren as educational institutions that have a characteristic nationality.
