Abstract

This paper presents the strategy of pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo in minimizing the occurrence of bias gender through gender-based education awareness.Bias gender in education is a reality that occurs in educational systems that favor certain sexes that cause gender inequality, so it takes a serious effort to overcome it, that is through gender awareness education. This research used qualitative approach of phenomenology type with one site design. The results showed; The form of bias gender in the system at Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo namely; the observed book content tend to be less gender-sensitive, the gap is due to structural factors such as socio-cultural values, and economics, the low participation of women in the educational decision making process and patriarchal culture. Development of gender-based education awareness at Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo is done through; the establishment of the Association of Women Nurul Jadid Foundation, the treatment and giving equal opportunity to women in every educational activity, the women helped build quality families, women also have the obligation to practice religious practices through education activities and giving independence to women.

Abstract

This paper describes the Role of Supervisor in Building Religious Culture. Teachers are components of human resources that must be fostered and developed continuously in order to perform its functions potentially. Therefore, to improve the quality of education starts from teachers and other education personnel. One of the efforts that can be done is by doing a supervision. Religious culture is one of the objectives of learning Islamic religious education, ie that learners can lead to the aspect of being not only leads to aspects of knowing and doing it. In this case, supervisor support will be given to build a religious culture, considering that one of the goals of the supervisor is the one provided to help teachers become professional, skilled and skilled teachers and able to do more effectively in achieving educational goals.

Abstract

This paper describes the efforts of teachers in building High Order Thinking (HOT) Learners through Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL). Education has always been the focus of various elements. Because the fate of a nation in the future depends heavily on the contribution of education. In the current learning process there are several gaps related to students thinking assumptions. The majority of teachers understand his role as a disseminator rather than a student center; so the focus of education in schools is more on the factual knowledge. This then affects the student achievement scoring system more based on tests that are tested for low-level cognitive skills only. The existence of the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning model is expected to be a bridge to build High Order Thinking (HOT) learners who can ultimately make learners able to achieve High Order Thinking (HOT).

Abstract

The concept of this study examines the Synergy of Pondok Pesantrens Role on the Improvement of Human Development Index (IPM) in Indonesia. Calculation of HDI standard include life expectancy, education level and standard of living of a region is in accordance with national standardization. This research is a qualitative research to collect data relating to the construction of conceptual thinking of the researcher is how the components, ways to overcome and what strategy will be done by PP to increase HDI in certain area that become its territory. Based on the data obtained the level of HDI in Indonesia is still low, this is due to the communitys response to development is still not maximal, therefore the Government to further increase the HDI in the region, it is necessary cooperation with Pondok pesantren. Surely the role of this PP will have a positive impact on the increase of HDI in the region and become a reference for the stakeholders to utilize and increase the HDI in the region through boarding school. Broadly speaking, HDI will increase if education, health and other areas, there is a response from the community and contribute to the community. This opportunity will provide added value to the increase of HDI through the role of Pondok Pesantren.

Abstract

This paper presents the importance of educational innovation, as part of the effort to solve the peroblematic education in Indonesia. Education and society are two sides that have reciprocal relations, that is, what is going on in the world of education, is a true picture in the reality of complex community life. However, the reciprocal relationship formula is not always directly proportional. Communities developing in high escalation and progressiveness, while the world of education, are still busy with a variety of problems that are not easily broken down. Based on the explanation, innovation in the world of education is very urgent to be done by every human being who has concern for the development of education, as a form of improvement towards better education of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses the revitalization of Islamic Education during the period of colonialism in the perspective of Kiai Hasyim Asyari, In order to know the extent to which various changes and developments in Islamic education should duly make us always encouraged to review and improve again the quality of self, for the improvement of quality and quantity of education Islam in Indonesia. Because basically Dari since the state of Indonesia was born in 1945, education has been the basis of one of the milestones of the nations progress. Education is like a uterus in which there are genes with a neat composition with all the seeds of existing capabilities. Therefore there is a need for motivation in the business of potential excavation, direction and good planning in the development of education. From the results of research conducted do indicate from some thoughts K.H Hasyim Ashari who talked about education more emphasis on ethics education. Because ethics is more important than intelligence. Expertise in hadiths colored in the aspect of the education. In order for some of his work to change the situation at that time and experience a rapid change and development of an education.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the concept of maslahah maximizer in sharia hotels in the perspective of Islamic business ethics. As is known, in the behavior of a manufacturer in general, in improving the competitiveness of products, a producer is competing to find a strategy to achieve maximum profits, so as to gain high profits, which affects the realization of welfare, both individually and members. The reality that happens, to realize the welfare, the company in this, the hotel manager justifies all means, offer worldly satisfaction and beautify the interior of the room, to be able to get the maximum profits. There are several factors that are not ignored by the company in maximizing profits, namely; safety factors, financial transparency, convenience of purity, kosher or not food. Sharia hotels appear in the midst of the concerns of tourists in terms of security and comfort, especially, business motivation undertaken by sharia hotels, aims to promote the benefit of funds maximize income

Abstract

This study talks about the renewal of Muslim thought, especially in the study of Islamic sciences. In this book titled Dirasat Islamiyah, Hanafi tried to give the understanding of the renewal of thinking Muslims to Islam that is in modern times. It can be acknowledged that this Hanafi thought has an impact on the change of mind, especially in looking at the comparisons of Islamic thought in the East and other Islamic countries, especially those directly related to the occurrence of oxidalism (how Islam understands the concept of Western culture, thought and development.) This paper concludes Hanafi in reconstructing the minds of Muslims among others is to create a framework of the concept of thinking that is responsive to the development of the era.In addition, Hanafi also illustrates that Muslims do not think with conservative reasoning in seeing and answering the phenomenon that bind the Ummah. Muslims according to him, must be smart and courageous in taking steps and attitudes that would all be able to restore the glories of Islam that had lost by other thought and culture. He further illustrated the need for a reexamination of classical Islamic texts, as reference and references so that Muslims can formulate a responsive new Islamic concept, both in the form of Islamic thought and practice. The method used in this paper is the study of literature, by making direct source from Dirasat Islamiyah book and other sources related to the theme and the content of the writing.
