Sampling in this study was taken using accidental techniques, seen from the number of research samples of 50 student teachers of batch 2015 and 47 student teachers of batch 2016. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were done using quantitative data analysis of percentage formulas. Student perceptions can be seen from each indicator as follows: (1) Indicator of absorption of stimuli or objects from outside individuals from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 75.28% with the category of "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired the average percentage of 75.82% with the category "good". (2) Indicators of understanding from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 78.18% with the category "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 69.98% with the category of "good". (3) Indicators of assessment or evaluation from the perception of batch 2015 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 76.76% with the category of "good" and from the perception of batch 2016 student teachers acquired an average percentage of 78.73% with the category of good. Abstract

The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought many obstacles for education in Indonesia. The learning process moves from school to learning at home. To increase students' interest in learning mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to design new innovations such as the use of the context of karate in mathematics learning. This study aims to develop learning materials using the context of karate based on Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education with the topic arithmetic operations. This research is a development research using Plomp model. Three stages are used in the development of the Plomp model: 1) Initial research stage; 2) Prototype stage; 3) Assessment stage. In the initial stages, researchers conducted the data collection and gathered information through observation. In the second stage, the researcher designed the product and evaluated their validity through the expert team. In third stage, the researchers made a revision based on evaluation from the expert team and redo the validation assessment until the expert team states the product is valid for use in learning. Lesson plan of modules, teaching materials, and learning videos are stated valid with an average value of three validators 73.

Abstract

Linguistic intelligence is one of eight multiple intelligences that currently attracts attention in the world of education. Linguistic intelligence is a person's ability to speak both verbally and in writing, besides that people who have linguistic intelligence also master the components of linguistic intelligence which consists of phonology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. The type of research used is research and development (R & D) with a 4D model. The subjects in this study were experts as validators, fifth grade students for trials and homeroom teachers in elementary schools. Data collection is done by giving a questionnaire to the validator. In this study the researchers concluded that the product of the developed linguistic intelligence assessment instrument was declared feasible to be used based on the results of validation of 86% with very feasible categories. The obstacle in developing the product of this instrument of linguistic intelligence assessment is the lack of knowledge of the school about the importance of linguistic intelligence for students in elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning is enhanced when it occurs within a positive environment where the learners feel a sense of passion and excitement about what they are learning. A joyful learning experience creates new neural pathways in the brain and enhances the acceptance of content. Learners learn more quickly and more deeply when their emotions are touched and the learning experience is accompanied by the positive feelings and reactions of their teacher and other fellow learners. This paper considers the factors and classroom processes that lead to positive learning sentiment and explores the way a teacher can create a suitable collaborative and democratic learning space.
