Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji  pengaruh variabel DER, profitabilitas,  firm size, dan likuiditas terhadap DPR dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur  yang listed  di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2009-2011.   Peneltian ini dilakukan karena adanya research gap yang ditemukan pada penelitian terdahulu seperti  Kapoor, (2006);  Baert dan Vennet, (2009); Okpara, (2010);  Al Shabibi dan Ramesh, (2011);  Al Najjar, (2012);  Mehta (2012);  .Moradi et al., (2012);  Eldomiaty, (2012);  dan Jie Kun (2012).Dari hasil  analisis  menunjukkan  bahwa data DER, profitabilitas,  likuiditas  dan DPR secara parsial berpengaruh  signifikan  terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan DPR mampu  memediasi pengaruh DER, profitabilitas,   firm size, dan likuiditas  terhadap nilai perusahaan. Secara bersama-sama  (DPR, profitabilitas,  likuiditas,  DER dan Size) terbukti  signifikan  berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan manufaktur listed  di BEI pada level kurang dari 5% (dengan  level of significance 0.05). Kemampuan prediksi dari kelima variabel tersebut  terhadap nilai perusahaan sebesar 36,3%  sedangkan sisanya 63,7%  dipengaruhi  oleh faktor-faktor  lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model  penelitian. Penelitian ini hanya terbatas  pada rasio profitabilitas  dan likuiditas dengan 22 sampel  dan periode  pengamatan tahunan selama 3 tahun, disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian  lanjutan dengan memperluas  faktor  lainnya seperti faktor makro ekonomi.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the dynamic relationship between stock prices and exchange rates by using high-frequency data of exchange rates and composite index of stock prices (IHSG) of Indonesia for the period July 2001 to April 2008. Applying Johansen's cointegration analysis, the study identifies a long-run relationship between stock price and exchange rate. Furthermore, using Granger Causality Test, this study proceed to test for short-run causal relationships between stock prices and exchanges rates and found one unidirectional relationship from stock prices to exchange rates. Analysis of vector error correction (VEG) model reveals that the Rupiah exchange rate is affected by both the past exchange rate and the stock price (ceteris paribus). On the other hand, the stock price is apparently only affected by its past movement. These results are supported by innovative accounting (impulse response function and variance decomposition). The conclusion can be drawn in this study is the stock price seems to be a leading indicator of the relationship between stock price and exchange rate, which is following the Portfolio Balance Approach. The results have implications for investors, policy makers and researchers.

Abstract

In a context of enhancing the competitive advantage, acquiring knowledge is an important factor This point is the weakest of the KUKM powerlessness. The problem that Group of Small Business and Entrepreneurs often face basically is on the decision making onCompetitive Strategy in order to enhance the firms' performance. Therefore, it is necessary to examine "How to enhance the Group of Small Business and Entrepreneur’s performance, by focusing on Competitive Strategy and the affecting factors." Hence, a model that consists of five variables is developed. Those five variables are strategic assets, environment adaptability, entrepreneurship orientation, competitive strategy and firms' performance.Data of observed variables is collected through questionnaire. The questionnaire is specially developed to have structured questions about the variables. 100 respondents of owners or people who run leather crafts in Yogyakarta were asked to answer the questionnaires. Then, data collection is analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method.The test result of the model shows that the model developed in this researched is proven to be fit. While the hypothesis test shows that the quality at strategic asset; environmental adaptability, and the quality of competitive strategy has a positive and significant effect on firms' performance.Based on the hypothesis result, enhancing Group of Small Business and Entrepreneurs performance can be achieved by making better the competitive strategy through entrepreneurship orientation.

Abstract

Indonesia's geothermal potential is the second largest in the world. But in fact, the magnitude of its geothermal potential has not been utilized optimally. With investments and risks that are quite high, and a relatively long period of time makes investors do not much invest in this energy sector. Especially with the presence of single buyer, in this case is PT PLN (Persero). The issue of power purchase agreement between developers and PT PLN (Persero) is still become the biggest obstacle to the development of geothermal power plant. This study aims to formulate an appropriate strategy priority used by PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) in producing the optimal cost of generating electricity based on Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 50 of 2017 concerning Utilization of Renewable Energy Sources for Electricity Supply. Data collection uses judgment sampling techniques. External environmental analysis is carried out through PESTLE analysis, while internal environmental analysis is carried out through value chain analysis. TOWS analysis is conducted to provide an alternative strategies, that from choices of alternative strategies will be prioritized using AHP analysis. The results of the study produced the chosen strategy priority that is to conduct intensive coordination with PT PLN (Persero) in negotiations to develop a new prospect area.

Abstract

AbstractThis research studies the relation between Firm Size, DER, Sales Growth, and ROE on Dividend Payout Ratio all non financial firms which listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2009-2011. Dividend payout has been an issue of interest in financial literature. The problems in this research is still have an inconsistency of data empirical phenomena and still found a gap research that examines the Dividend Payout Ratio which is measured by Firm Size, Debt Equity Ratio, and Sales Growth. moreover, this research try to test ROE as an intervening variable.In this research using the technique of path analysis with AMOS. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling, and from the 461 listed companies, only 77 companies that can be sampled. Before using the path analysis, we must do the test assumption of normality and outliers.The research found a significant positive relations Firm Size and ROE on DPR, as well as a significant positive relations Firm Size and Sales Growth on ROE. The research also found a significant negative relationship DER on DPR. However, this research has found no significant effect Sales Growth on DPR, as well as in relation DER on ROE. ROE was found able to be intervening variables for influence of Firm Size on DPR. While in the test influence of DER and Sales Growth on DPR, ROE can’t be intervening variable.

Abstract

Masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya motivasi karyawan di BMT Bintoro Madani sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh dari kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.Model yang dikembangkan merefleksikan faktor-faktor penting tersebut. Berdasarkan pada data yang diambil dari BMT Bintoro Madani. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 orang karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara kepada responden, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor konfirmatori dan maximum likelihood estimation dalam Structural equation modeling pada program AMOS 5. Dari kuesioner yang disebar, sampai tahap pengolahan data dilakukan, jumlah kuesioner yang lengkap dan bisa digunakan adalah 115. Sehingga jumlah responden yang dapat dianalisis adalah 115. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. Selanjutnya motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara positif dan signifikan. Kepuasan kerja secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara positif dan signifikan. Dibahas pula implikasi teoritis dan manajerial sesuai prioritas yang bisa dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Keterbatasan penelitian dan agenda penelitian mendatang dapat dijadikan acuan bagi peneliti selanjutnya.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between aptitude, skill level, role perception and personal factors toward salesperson performance. The bulk of the earlier research has been conducted in the developed countries, mostly American environment. A sample of 103 respondents were used in this study. The three independent variables investigated, all of them, skill/ role perception, aptitude and personal factors turned out to be significantly related to the salesperson performance. Skill/role perception is found to be the most important variable in explaining the variance in salesperson performance. The results of this study would enhance the understanding of the determinants of salesperson performance for organizations in Malaysia which could be used as a guide line to increase their salespersons’ performance. At the same time, it is also hoped that this study will encourage further marketing studies that are still comparatively lacking in Malaysia.

Abstract

This research performed to test the influence of Size, ROA, Current Ratio, and Sales Growth to­ ward Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) in consumer goods industries that listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2005­-2009. The aimed of this research is to analyze the influence of Size, ROA, Current Ratio, and Sales Growth toward Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) in consumer goods industries that listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2005­2009.The population of this research were 37 companies that listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2005­2009. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the criterias: (1) food and beverages companies, tobacco, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods listed in the BEi which exist throughout the study period from 2005 until 2009, and (2) food and beverages companies, tobacco, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods listed in the BE/ which submitted their data com­ plete with  the required information. The  data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD 2009) publication. The total sample are 23 companies that included in food and beverages,  tobacco, pharmaceuticals dan consumer goods companies.  The analyze technique used was multiple regression with least square equations and the hypothesis testing using t­ statistic for testing the partial regression coefficient and F­statistic to test the effect together with the 5% level of confidence.The results showed that Size was significant positive to DER.  This research also found that ROA and Current Ratio were significant negative to DER. The other variable in this study is Sales Growth is not significant to DER.  Variables that have the most impact and significant effect to Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) are Size with coefficient value is 0,269; Current Ratio with coefficient value is ­ 0,627, then ROA with coefficient value is ­0, 185,. These findings indicated the things that need to be considered, either by the management company to manage the company, or by investors in determining investment strategy of the policy of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) are Size, Current Ratio and ROA.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of servant leadership and servant leadership competence conducted Apothecary built by the Apothecary at PT. Kimia Farma UB Semarang.From this research is expected  to contribute the development of science in general and the field of human resources management in particular and as a reference when further research is conducted, especially on those who want to learn about servant leadership.Another goal is that management  is expected to use as a material consideration or input to PT. Kimia Farma UB Semarang as a guide in competition Pharmacist to have leadership servant leadership that synergize with professionThe participants of this research consisted of 10 people, consisting of 7 (seven) person Apothecary and 3 (three) Apothecary Assistant. The ten participants representing structural position of PT. Kimia Farma UB Semarang. Determination of informants using snowball sampling method. This research method is qualitative analysis tool used is the technique of triangulation and member check.The result of the analysis showed that all participants of PT. Kimia Farma UB Semarang proved the characteristics of servant leadership and servant leadership competence can be built by the pharmacist. Expected Pharmacist as a leader able to build a communication that can synergize existing resources to maximize the potential of subordinates to be successful

Abstract

Bank adalah lembaga keuangan yang berfungsi sebagai perantara keuangan. Bank menerima simpanan uang dari masyarakat dan selanjutnya menyalurkannya kembali dalam bentuk kredit. Penyaluran kredit memungkinkan dilakukannya investasi, distribusi, dan juga konsumsi barang dan jasa, mengingat semua kegiatan tersebut selalu berkaitan dengan penggunaan uang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena belum optimalnya penyaluran kredit perbankan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) yang masih berada dibawah harapan Bank Indonesia. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengujian faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan penyaluran kredit perbankan, yang meliputi Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), dan suku bunga Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI). Penelitian ini menggunakan Bank Umum secara keseluruhan sebagai satu unit obyek penelitian, dengan periode penelitian dari tahun 2005 - 2009 (secara bulanan). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, sementara uji hipotesis menggunakan uji - t untuk menguji pengaruh variabel secara parsial serta uji - F untuk menguji pengaruh variabel secara serempak dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) dan Non Performing Loan (NPL) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan. Sementara suku bunga Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI) berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap penyaluran kredit perbankan. Untuk meningkatkan penyaluran kredit Bank Umum harus melakukan penghimpunan dana secara optimal, mengoptimalkan kegunaan sumber daya finansial (modal) yang dimiliki, dan memiliki manajemen perkreditan yang baik agar NPL tetap berada dalam tingkat yang rendah dan dalam batas yang disyaratkan oleh Bank Indonesia.
