Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk Penggunaan Media Sosial sebagai media komunikasi dalam dunia kerja dan bagaimana dampak penggunaan media sosial facebook bagi efektifitas kerja karyawan divisi lokasi PT. Indomarco Prismatama, Cabang Makassar.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Evaluasi Kualitatif yang bersifat Deskriptif.yaitu menyajikan gambaran secara lengkap mengenai masalah yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk Penggunaan Media Sosial sebagai media komunikasi oleh divisi lokasi yaitu: 1) Sebagai media komunikasi informatif sebagai tempat untuk saling bertukar informasi antara karyawan dan atasan terkait pekerjaan. 2) Sebagai komunikasi koordinasi ketika salah satu anggota organisasi tersebut hendak memberitahukan adanya sesuatu yang harus dikerjakan oleh anggota lainnya. 3) Sebagai komunikasi motivasi. Komunikasi motivasi terjadi ketika ada hal-hal yang di sampaikan di luar konteks pekerjaan,dalam hubungannya dengan pemberian motivasi kepada tim kerja. Efektifitas penggunaan facebook sebagai media komunikasi adalah berupa dampak negative maupun dampak positif.Dampak negatifnya adalah jika penggunaan facebook sebagai media komunikasi keluar dari tujuan utamanya, dapat saja mengganggu aktifitas kerja karyawan. Di samping itu dampak negative facebook sebagai media komunikasi dalam bekerja yang biasa ditemui ialah terkait keamanan saat bertukar informasi yang sifatnya rahasia, dapat membatasi sosialisasi/ berkomunikasi lansung dengan rekan kerja, terdapat item-item berupa iklan dan berita yang dapat mengganggu konsentrasi kerja, dan mengakses facebook terlalu sering dapat memakan kuota lebih banyak. Adapun dampak positifnya ialah dengan adanya group atau room chat facebook tersebut, memudahkan bagi seluruh anggota team dalam divisi lokasi untuk saling berhubungan, komunikasi dengan cepat dan terarah walaupun dalam kondisi tempat yang berbeda-beda. Berkat keefektifitasan pengkoordinasian pekerjaan melalui facebook, akhirnya tidak akan terjadi kelalaian dalam bekerja.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Literasi Media Sosial Terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja di SMA 21 Makassar ; (2) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh Literasi Media Sosial Terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja di SMA 21 Makassar.Tipe penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data regresi linear sederhana, koefisien korelasi. Dan pengambilan sample menggunakan rumus Slovin.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Literasi Media Sosial terhadap pengetahuan remaja berdasarkan nilai t hitung = 10.245 dengan signifikansi 0,00<0,05 maka H0 Ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya Ada pengaruh yang nyata (signifikan) variabel Media Sosial (X) terhadap variabel Konten Media (Y). Selain itu, N atau jumlah data penelitian adalah 100 responden, kemudian nilai sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0,000, sebagaimana dasar keputusan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Media Sosial dengan Konten Media. Diketahui Correlation Coefficient (koefisien korelasi) sebesar 0, 719. Besarnya pengaruh Literasi Media Sosial terhadap pengetahuan remaja adalah sebesar 51,7%.

Abstract

One of the media products that have the ability to change people’s knowledge, attitudes and behavior is advertising. Advertising is a form of communication between producers, consumers and audiences by utilizing mass media, so that messages can be accepted by audiences globally and simultaneously. The advertising communication contains information about the existence of the product through words, images, writing and voice which are packaged in such an attractive way to encourage audiences to purchase the advertised products. This study aims to analyze and raise the meaning of the signifier, signified, denotative and connotative as well as the moral messages contained in the Apache cigarette advertisement version of My Life, My Way, which is broadcast on television media. Lifting a story about the success story of man in his coffee making business. To examine this problem thoroughly and deeply, a qualitative descriptive approach and Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis were used. Semiotics is considered appropriate to find out or decipher something that is behind the sign meaning of the advertisement. In this study, it is concluded that the meaning of the signifier, signified, denotative and connotative is listed in several signs such as coffe, humans, NTT areas, facial expressions and unyielding efforts. The moral message that is conveyed is that it takes a resilient and unyielding nature when trying to achieve success, trusting in our abilities as a support to improve our lives for the better and be grateful for whatever results we get because of the good and bad things that happen to us is something that has been arranged by Allah SWT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa yang paling mempengaruhi kepuasan penumpang Grab di Universitas Islam Makassar , adakah perbedaan faktor kepuasan antara penumpang Grab laki-laki dan penumpang perempuan serta adakah perbedaan faktor kepuasan penumpang Grab berdasarkan kategori usia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan survey, hasil dari survey (N=100) diuji dengan membagi tiga faktor, yakni faktor internal, faktor external, serta faktor fasilitas. Faktor eksternal (Harga terjangkau & Promo Diskon Tarif) memperoleh nilai paling tinggi dalam hal yang paling dianggap penting oleh penumpang Grab Dapat dilihat bahwa variabel external mempunyai mean yang lebih tinggi (M=4.48, SD= 0.66) sedangkan internal yaitu (M=4.33, SD= 0.47) dan fasilitas sebesar (M= 3.82, SD= 0,586). Selanjutnya untuk pengujian perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok jenis kelamin dan usia tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan.

Abstract

Facing the 2019 presidential election contestation of the Republic of Indonesia, competing presidential candidates face a variety of things, especially issues that develop ahead of the presidential election. This issue, which was packaged in the mainstream media, social media and online media, has had an extraordinary influence on the electability and image of the candidate. Various issues that have drawn attention are more concerned with issues of background, ideology, ideology and even to personal problems, which are very draining the energy of the presidential candidate to look for loopholes to refute, confirm or give an open statement to clarify the matter.In this study, an analysis was conducted based on the characteristics of critical discourse analysis through action, context, history of power and ideology to gain knowledge about the communication styles of presidential candidates in responding to issues leading up to the presidential election. The results show that the communication style of presidential candidate Joko Widodo is more directed to the systematic style while presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto is more spirited style.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the character of Twitter accounts from news organizations and individuals who practice citizen journalism on Twitter. The indicator used is the general aspect of a tweet: (1) profile picture, (2) profile name, (3) username, (4) message length, (4) full web link, (5) short web link, (6) compiled web link, (7) picture, (8) hashtag, (9) mention, (10) message content. The first three characteristics indicate the profile of a Twitter user who tweet the message, and the remaining indicates the message itself. Using a series of chi-squares, and independent t-test, the differences laid significantly on profile picture χ2(3, N = 40) = 26.14, p< .001, profile name χ2(3, N = 40) = 36.19, p< .001, username χ2(2, N = 40) = 36.19, p< .001, message length t (37)= -4.17, p< .001, 95% CI [-7.16, -2.48],  short web link χ2(1) = 15, p< .001, mention χ2(1, N = 40) = 15.82, p< .001 and content χ2(2, N = 40) = 21.54, p< .001. Results shown news organization still have less horizontal communication to its audience, which can be detected by the lack of mentions. News tweets provided by individual account on the contrary employed interactive communication

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of modernization on the traditional traditions of Kalomba in the village of Tana Toa (2) what is the meaning of the tool in the favorite tradition of Kalomba in Tana Toa village. This research was carried out in Tana Toa Village, Kajang District, Bulukumba District. The method used in this study is qualitative with a detailed approach and data collection used is interviews and observations. The results showed that there was no influence of modernization or changes to the traditional traditions of Kalomba in Desa Tana Toa, Kajang Subdistrict, in the common tradition of Kalomba, each contained a definite meaning or led to good things. In general, culture and customs have not changed at all, but socially, some Kajang tribal communities have changed due to the influence of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study presents three formulations of the problem, namely, what is the opinion of a conventional ojek for the presence of online ojek transportation, how is the opinion of an online ojek in responding to the existence of a conventional ojek and how conflicts and solutions that occur with the presence of an online ojek to conventional base taxi drivers. Based on the formulation of the problem, this study aims to finding out the opinion of conventional ojek for the presence of online ojek transportation facilities, finding out the opinion of online ojek drivers in responding to the existence of a conventional ojek and finding out the conflicts and solutions that occur with the presence of an online ojek to conventional base taxi drivers. This research employs qualitative descriptive method, using juridical and sociological approaches, and selecting several informants with snowball sampling and purposive sampling. The source of the data used is the primary source, namely information that comes from direct observation to the research location employing observation and interviews. Whereas secondary sources are, data obtained from literature studies to complete primary data. Data collection is done through field research, observation, and interviews. The results show that what is more needed to resolve conflicts between online ojek and conventional ojek is a clear rule. The conflict between online ojek and conventional ojek in Makassar City is temporarily overcome by the existence of an operational ban zone for online ojek transportation.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still ASN employees at the Bulukumpa District Office who do not understand how to use computerized technology and are still reluctant to increase the potential for computerized use. Even though today, the use of information technology is very supportive of the success of the work of ASN employees. While the use of computerization in agencies is interconnected, the more facilities provided to users, the easier it is for users to access the data needed to complete tasks within the agency. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to all employees of the Bulukumpa District Office, totaling 22 respondents who were used as research samples. Based on the test results, the hypothesis can be accepted, that the use of information technology has a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the simple regression test, it shows a significant influence between information technology on employee performance at the Bulukumpa District Office of 76.6%. This means that the magnitude of the influence of computerized technology on employee performance in completing work using computerization is 76.6%.

Abstract

One of the roles of local print mass media is to educating society. Which is to inform people about flood disaster in the relevance of effort to bring people to their senses. This research objective is to find out the role of local print mass media in flooded disaster mitigation before and after flooded disaster period. The research took the data from January 2012 until July 2013 edition of Fajar and Tribun Timur newspaper. Method of collecting data is using a coding sheet. Data analyzing is using descriptive quantitative method and content analyze method. The result of this research indicate that on the period before flooding disaster, mass media have a contribute for helping people back to their sense by the news that had been made to the number of 21 news or 46.6% in Fajar and 24 news or 53.4% in Tribun Timur. When flooded disaster period, we can saw the role of print mass media by the story that they brought, Fajar brought 97 news or 75,8%, and Tribun Timur brought 31 news or 24,2%. For post flooded disaster period Fajar brought 14 news or 60,9%, and Tribun Timur brought nine news or 39,1%. It is concluded that local print media had a role for flooded disaster mitigation in society through their report that they brought. Hopefully, that people in the community would realize the danger of flooded disaster and taking care of nature.
