Abstract

The objective of this research to test Value Relevance Accounting Information based on PSAK Convergence IFRS. Research is done of manufacture firms listed at BEI (2010 until 2013). Sampel in this research is 65 manufacture firms. Variable in this research are Value Relevance Accounting Information before and after PSAK Convergence IFRS. Measured of Value Relevance Accounting Information variable used Earning Per Share (EPS), Book Value Equity Per Share (BVEPS) and Cash Flow From Operation Activities (CFOA). The Paired sampel t-test to know of difference Value Relevance Accounting Information before and after based on PSAK convergence IFRS.The result reveal that indifference Value Relevance Accounting Information of public firms in Indonesia before and after based on PSAK Convergence IFRS .  Keywords :  Value Relevance Accounting Information

Abstract

This research aims to analyze: (1) influence of price toward customer satisfaction of Acer Netbook to student of Universitas Negeri Padang, (2) influence of perceived quality toward customer satisfaction of Acer Netbook to student of Universitas Negeri Padang. This research is causative, which is explain about influence of price and perceived quality toward customer satisfaction of Acer Netbook to student of Universitas Negeri Padang. Population in this research is all students of Universitas Negeri Padang who is using Netbook Acer. Samples has taken by using Accidental Sampling with total samples are 100 respondents. Primary data has taken through questionaire which is filled in by the respondents. Instrument test has done by validity test and realibility test. Technique analyze was using multiple regression analysis through SPSS 16.0. This research showed that (1) price has significant influence toward customer satisfaction of Acer Netbook to student of Universitas Negeri Padang (2) perceived quality has significant influence toward customer satisfaction of Acer Netbook to student of Universitas Negeri Padang. Key word: Price, Perceived Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of interest rate, debt to equity ratio and the inflation rate to the yield to maturity of corporate bonds. Population of this research is all corporate bonds listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009-2013. The research sample is determined by purposive sampling consisting of 65 samples. The analytical method used is structural equation modeling (SEM). This study shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the interest rate on the yield to maturity of corporate bonds, debt to equity ratio and significant positive effect on the yield to maturity of corporate bonds and the rate of inflation and significant positive effect on the yield to maturity of corporate bonds. Keywords: interest rate, debt to equity ratio, inflation rate yield to maturity

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze (1) The influence of sense on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang, (2) The influence of feel on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang, (3) The influence of think on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang, (4) The influence of act on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang. A type of the research is causative. The study population was all tourist who visited Pantai Air Manis at Padang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Total sample size of 100 people. The data used are primary and secondary obtained by distributing questionnaires to selected tourist.This study have two categories of variables. The first is the independent variables are sense, feel, think and act. Both dependent variables is revisit intention.The analytical method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis throught multiple regression. The results showed that (1) Sense significant 0.175 impact on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis tourism at Padang, (2) Feel significant 0.198 impact on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang, (3) Think significant 0.258 impact on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang, (4) Act significant 0.414 impact on revisit intention of tourist to Pantai Air Manis at Padang.

Abstract

This research is intended to measure consumer purchasing decisions to buy toward the quality of product and  advertising of Black Berry.The researcher used close questions in collecting the primary data. She collected the data by using non probability sampling through convenience sampling. There were 100 respondents taken as samples. The used method of analysis are; multiple linier. The multiple linier regresion analysis on the quality of product has resulted in positive and significance influence on consumer purchasing decisions. But The multiple linier regresion analysis on the advertising has resulted in positive and not significance influence on consumer purchasing decisions.Keywords: quality of product, advertising,  and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine 1) the influence of idealism orientation to ethical behavior of accountants 2) the influence of relativism to ethical behavior of accountants, and 3) the influence of locus of control on the ethical behavior of accountants. This research classified as causative studies. Population of research are the auditors in the city of Padang and Pekanbaru. The sample determined by total sampling method. Methods of data collection using the questionnaire, the questionnaire which can be processed a total of as many 54 questionnaires. Types of data is data subject and the data source is primary data. Analysis of data using multiple regression with F test and t test with the help of Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS). The results showed that: (1) the orientation of ethical idealism positive significant effect to ethical behavior in which the significance value of 0.002, less than the alpha value of 0.05. (2) the orientation of ethical relativism is not significant negative effect on the ethical behavior of accountants with significant value of 0.452, this value is greater than alpha 0.05. (3) Locus of Control significant effect on ethical behavior of accountants with a significance value of 0.013, this value is smaller than alpha of 0.05. This research is still limited to idealism, relativism, and locus of control. For further research may add other variables that can influence ethical behavior. In addition further research is also better done with the interview so as to dig up all the goals in research. Keywords: Orientation ethics, idealism, relativism, locus of control, ethical behavior of accountant.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership to employees’ job statisfaction at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum the city of Padang Panjang. Objects in this study were employees of the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum the city of Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. The population in this study were all employees at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum of Padang Panjang, as many as 68 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique, the sample in this study amounted to 68 people. The data analysis technique is a simple regression using SPSS. The results showed that transformational leadership significant and positive impact on job satisfaction of employees in the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Padang Panjang.Keywords:  transformational leadership and job satisfaction

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of advertising and variety seeking behaviour for brand switching for SIM card to other brands in the Faculty of Economy Padang State University. The research was conducted in the Faculty of Economy Padang State University, and the populations in this study are all students Faculty of Economy Padang State University who used SIM cardand ever transition to other brands. Samples were taken with an accidental sampling method using Cochran formula, with a total sample of 100 people. Data collection technique is to use questionnaires and documents. The data analysis technique used is path analisys using SPSS version 16.00. Results of this study showed that: 1) Advertising influence for variety seeking behaviour forSIM card. 2) Advertisingnot significantly influence for brand switching forSIM card3) Variety seeking behaviour influence for brand switching forSIM card. Keyword: Advertising, variety seeking behaviour, and brand switching

Abstract

Penelitian bidang corporate governance saat ini lebih didominasi dengan perspektif principal-agent model. Tulisan ini merupakan review beberapa penelitian terdahulu yang melihat perspektif yang berbeda dalam memahami fenomena corporate governance. Principal-principal model menitikberatkan  pada konflik antara pemegang saham pengendali dan pemegang saham minoritas.  Terdapat perbedaan antara principal-agent model dan principal-principal model antara lain konflik yang terjadi, implementasi strategi, perlindungan terhadap pemegang saham minoritas, kontrol pasar terhadap perusahaan, tipe kepemilikan, komposisi dan efektifitas board of director serta komposisi manajemen tim. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan keadilan distributif pada karyawan Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang dan yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh karyawan Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang yang berjumlah 117 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah teknik cluster proportional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel adalah 91 orang karyawan. Pengujian data dilakukan dengan metode analisis regresi berganda dan diolah menggunakan program SPSS versi 20.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, dan keadilan distributif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang.
