Abstract

The Effect of Self-Efficacy, Learning Activities and Learning Independence on Biology Learning Achievement in Class X Students of Public Senior High Schools in Namlea District.The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of self-efficacy on student achievement in high school students in Namlea sub-district. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the learning achievement of biology class X students in Namlea district. This type of research is ex-post facto which is causality designed to explain the existence of a causal relationship between variables. The population in this study amounted to 603 students of State Senior High School in Namlea district. The sample in this study amounted to 90 students. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis.The results of the analysis show that self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on the biology learning achievement of class X SMA Negeri in Namlea sub-district. Judging from the results of simple linear regression calculations, it can be seen that the magnitude of the influence is 0.271.While the R square value is 0.036. So it can be seen that the relative contribution of the effect of self-efficacy on learning achievement is 36.0%, while 64% is influenced by other variables not examined in the study.

Abstract

The election event became the right moment in implementing democracy in the country of Indonesia. Contestants are contenders with the winners in the hearts of society. Here is the importance of citizenship education both for voters and for the figure who is running. The purpose of this research is to know the concept of citizenship education in political contestation. This method of research uses qualitative methods. The data collection techniques in these studies use observations, interviews, and literacy studies. The results of this study say that political contestation required a democratic, responsible, and participatory attitude, which all exist in the concept of citizenship education.

Abstract

This research aims to find the philosophical foundation of the article "Principles of Education of Tamansiswa at the Beginning of Its Establishment" in the book of "Ki Hajar Dewantara's Thought and Struggle" which is published by The National Awakening Museum of the Directorate General of Culture Ministry. This book consists of six parts, which discusses about some topics related to KHD. The researcher chose the second part to be analyzed because it discusses the teachings of KHD which is interesting and is relevant in recent education. The research method uses inferential content analysis. The researcher comprehend and interpret the symbolic message in the article. The research procedure used are the procurement of data, data reduction, inference, and data analysis. Construct analysis is done using qualitative approach with conceptual domain. Data validity was measured by using semantic validity and test retest reliability. The research result shows that there are philosophical basis on education principles of Tamansiswa, philosophy of essentialism and humanism, which is values ​​issued in cultural or social heritage that have existed since human civilization, for example in the among systems and trilogy leadership slogan Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodho, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso and Tut Wuri Handayani implemented in Tamansiswa education.

Abstract

Perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia telah berkembangan dengan sangat pesat, tidakhanya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan namun juga perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan yang sangat besar dalam pola pendidikan di Indonesia. Pendidikan adalah sebuah gerbang yang akan membawa mahasiswa menjadi generasi penerus bangsa ini, tidahk hanya sekedar membangun bangsa namun juga membangun karakter bangsa supaya bangsa ini menjadi bangsa yang besar. Pendidikan karakter bisa terinternalisasi dalam kurikulum yang nantinya akan membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan karakter diri. Penelitian ini mengambarkan sejauh mana pendidikan karakter akan membantu mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan dirinya. Hasil penelitian ini adanya keterlibatan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum akan membantu mahasiswa menghadapi dunia pekerjaan yang akan dipengaruhi oleh karakter yang dibangun dari sejak memulai pendidikan atau bisa ditumbuhkembagkan bahkan pada saat perkuliahan. Keseuaian antara mahasiswa dan dosen akan membantu juga dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has disrupted a variety of human activities, not only as a driving force for the economy but also in the fields of science and technology and higher education. The industrial revolution 4.0 era has influenced higher education policy, teaching, and development of management science in universities. This article focuses to discuss the role of higher education policy and the development of management science in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. Based on theoretical studies and relevant literature reviews, the author argued that the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 must be responded quickly and appropriately by all stakeholders to be able to anticipate changes in the world and increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian college student in the midst of global competition. The management science curriculum development must emphasize the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Management science should refer to learning based on information and communication technology, the internet of things, big data, and computerization. Furthermore, management science is expected to create higher thinking order skills (HOTS) for higher education students. Finally, management science is also expected to provide teaching and have noble values, spiritual values, wisdom, and the element of human touch.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar PKn siswa ketika guru menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital, (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara guru memanfaatkan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran, (3) Untuk mengetahui kendala apa saja yang dihadapi guru dalam menggunakan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran PKn. Penelitian ini secara spesifik lebih diarahkan pada desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif berusaha untuk menuturkan pemecahan masalah yang ada sekarang berdasarkan data-data. Maka dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk menjelaskan tentang pemanfaatan media digital oleh guru pada siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Pleret guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara efisien. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis digital dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn di SMA N Pleret sebagai berikut: Secara umum pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru di SMA N 1 Pleret cukup baik dan maksimal. Untuk media pembelajaran PKn sudah menggunakan LCD meskipun guru harus membawa laptop sendiri serta dalam ulangan harian maupun ujian tengah semester (UTS) rata-rata hasil belajar PKn diatas nilai KKM, adapun nilai KKM di SMA N 1 Pleret pada mata pelajaran PKn adalah 7,5.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif yang bertujuan memecahkan problem diskriptif Diskripsi yang dimaksud adalah mengenai proses-proses perubahan dalam hubungan sosial kekeluargaan, komunitas, dan perkumpulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode partisipan, sedangkan analisis dilakukan dengan menghubung-hubungkan fakta satu dengan lainnya yang diperoleh untuk mendapatkan gambaran umum proses perubahan dalam hubungan social tersebut di atas. Kerangka pemikiran dalam analisis didasarkan pada teori-teori modernisasi, terutama teori diferensiasi struktural dan diffusi sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya proses perubahan (diferensiasi struktural dan diffusi sosial) pada peran dan gaya hidup dalam hubungan sosial keluarga, komunitas dan perkumpulan. Perubahan itu ditandai (1) orang tua kehilangan fungsi tradisionalnya dalam melatih anak bekerja dan tidak intensifnya hubungan emosional yang berakibat merosotnya penganutan nilai-nilai moral (etika); (2) peran "orang tua" atau "tokoh" masyarakat dalam hubungan komunitas yang semakin menurun; dan (3) proses differensiasi dan diffusi yang kuat menuju pada pola hubungan sosial masyarakat kota, tetapi disisi lain terdapat semangat "in group feeling" (keprimordialan) sebagai bagian dan upaya mempertahankan nilai-nilai lama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab permasalahan tentang sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta Tahun Akademik 2015-2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif, variabel penelitian sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa Universitas Cokroaminoto Yogyakarta, penelitian ini adalah penelitian sampel yaitu purposive sample atau sampel bertujuan, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi, metode analisa data menggunakan metode analisis diskriptif dengan teknik persentase.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap nasionalisme mahasiswa tinggi dan positif, dengan rata-rata persentase 73%, adapun indikator-indikator untuk mengukur sikap nasionalisme adalah pengetahuan tentang cinta tanah air, kemandirian, dan multikulturalisme; perasaan cinta tanah air; dan kemauan untuk cinta tanah air, kemandirian, dan multikulturalisme.

Abstract

This study discusses the results of independent learning by assisting learning in PKB subjects specifically students of speech class XI SLALB SLB Negeri 2 Bantul. Total population of 7 students with census techniques, the population used as research. From the analysis results obtained t count of 13.28 while t table at a significance level of 5% of 2.26. With t arithmetic> t table there is a difference in independent learning achievement with Mentoring learning. Thus the hypothesis "It is suspected that the learning achievement of students who are mentoring is better than the learning achievement of students who are self-learning in Civics subjects in speech impaired students of class XI SLALB SLB Negeri 2 Bantul 2016/2017 Academic Year".

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of inclusive civics learning in homeschooling in Yogyakarta. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The results showed that in the homeschooling of Anak Pelangi Yogyakarta, in planning and developing inclusive learning in accordance with student characteristics. At the beginning of entry or registration, prospective students first do a fingerprint and psychological test. It is intended to get conclusions about the talents, interests, and potential of children, making it easier for teachers to develop children's potential according to their needs. Academic and psychological fields will provide test results to teachers that are used as recommendations and references for handling and teaching methods that are appropriate for students, so teachers can develop curricula in accordance with student characteristics. The implementation of learning in Homeschooling is shorter than formal schools in general. With the number of face-to-face and shorter duration, the teacher can deliver materials according to the abilities of each student. It can be seen that, the application of PPKn Yogyakarta Homeschooling Inclusion learning includes: (a) when the test enters prospective new students, they conduct a fingerprint test, and a psychological test, (b) the results of the fingerprint test and a psychological test are used to determine the characteristics, potential, background, of students, (c) the teacher applies an SBC curriculum that is developed according to the student's circumstances.
