Abstract

WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) plays an important role in every construction project. WBS is a hierarchy of decreasing scope of work to become the smallest level called a work package, making it easier in the process of project management and control. The current problem is that many contractors in Indonesia, both large and small contractors, do not understand the importance of using WBS in a construction project. This causes project performance to be less than optimal, especially on cost and time performance. Currently, WBS standards have been developed for building projects. In this study will look at the cost and time performance of the project from the use of WBS standard building. The sample used in this study are projects that have applied the use of project standards. The projects include Building X, Lecture Building Y, and Sports Facility Building Z. The method used in this study is the EVM (Earn Value Method) approach, collecting data using questionnaires. The results showed that using the WBS standard had an effect on cost and time performance. Good cost and time performance is shown in the Building X and Lecture Y buildings. While the cost and time performance of the Z Sports Facility Building tends to be unstable. This is because the work items that exist in the WBS standard are not in accordance with the project conditions, so it is necessary to adjust work items.

Abstract

Construction projects in all regions continues to be developed for the creation of facilities that can be utilized by the community. One of them is the construction of apartments which are now being intensively carried out to meet residential needs for the community. Making a construction project plan always refers to estimates that exist at the time development plan is made, therefore problems can arise if there is a discrepancy between the plans that have been made and the actual reality. So the impact that often occurs is the delay in the time of project implementation which can also be accompanied by an increase in the cost of implementing the project. In the construction project of Cinere Terrace Suites Apartemen & Citywalk, Jakarta there was a delay resulting in a late payment of monthly bill progress by the owner. Based on the above reasons, this research was conducted to find out how the project performance was seen from the cost and time period of the review period. how is the estimated cost and time to complete the overall project work. The method used in the analysis of this study is the Earned Value Method. Based on the results of the analysis carried out for 29 weeks the project performance on schedule has been delayed and cost shows a positive value. For the estimated completion time of the project there is an increase in time whose duration increases from the planned 98 weeks or 685 days to 109,624 weeks or 768 days. While the estimated cost of completing the project from the results of the analysis obtained a value of Rp. 270,147,448,569.16 smaller than the planned cost of Rp. 315,272,727,272.73. With the difference VAC of Rp. 45,125,278,703.57 this shows that there are benefits obtained by the contractor.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country which is in an earthquake prone area. Earthquake disasters are destructive natural phenomena. The damage caused is very large, especially in the field of steel structures of buildings. The effect of earthquakes is an important factor to planning the design of building structures. Existing buildings are claimed to be earthquake resistant by planners, but not necessarily the results as expected. Along with the development of technological advances in the field of civil engineering, new concepts and methods emerged in the analysis and planning of earthquake resistant buildings, one of which was the concept of Performance Based Seismic Evaluation (PBSE) with static thrust load analysis or Pushover analysis. This method is able to provide information on the pattern of collapse of buildings that exist when burdened with earthquake forces that exceed the capacity of the building, whether direct collapse or building is capable of behaving nonlinear (progressive) before total collapse occurs. The purpose of the final assignment is to evaluate and optimize the performance of the load on the factory building to determine the effective capacity of the structure and behavior by showing the scheme of plastic joints on the beam and column elements with the Pushover method based on the Applied Technology Council (ATC-40) code and determining the level structural performance of earthquake prisoners based on the code. From the results of the study, it was found that the performance point is V = 61.027 Ton and D = 0.074 m. The structure of the building is able to provide nonlinear behavior that is indicated by the initial phase and the majority of the occurrence of plastic joints occurs in the beam element and then the column element. Structural performance levels are included in the Immediate Occupancy criteria, which means that minor structural damage occurs and the building can be reused immediately again.

Abstract

The structure would be work well accordance to its capacity and it has the static loadings that were under limit the yield strength of the material, can be subjected to failure during operations, and this is because the structure receives additional dynamic loads that occur repeatedly within a long period of time as known as cyclic loads or fatigue loads. The purpose of the fatigue analysis is to find out the working life of structure so, the structure can be planned to repair and strengthen without disturbing the operation process. In real operations, the structure support of jaw crusher receives fatigue load from the equipment which standing on it. Structure alaysed by used finite element method with the aim to get more accurate analysis results. The type of analysis used is constants amplitude events. Based on the analysis results obtained the life of the jaw crusher is for 67000 cycles or 8 months 28.

Abstract

Rapid urban development demands a lot of infrastructure development. The development aims to support the activities of urban communities. Many research has been done on the structure, but the assessment of the visual quality of these structures is still very rarely done, especially in Indonesia. Flyovers are one of the structures that are often present in cities to solve congestion problems. Jakarta as the capital city, has many of these structures. Unfortunately, unwittingly adding structures can affect the visual quality of the surrounding environment. There are many ways to beautify these structures such as by adding plants, giving ornaments in the form of reliefs, to painting with mural art. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the visual quality of flyover structures. The methods used in this article include scenic beauty estimation (SBE), semantic differential (SD), factor analysis, multidimensional scaling, and Kendall?s W. The results obtained are different levels of visual quality of flyover structures based on the appearance of complementary ornaments. Based on SBE analysis, the structure with reliefs that were not colored showed poor visual quality with an SBE value of -46,483. High visual quality based on SBE analysis, namely the structure with the softscape element in the form of landscape plants (89,777). The impression caused by the structure with softscape elements in the form of landscape plants is considered shadier and attractive.

Abstract

Husein Sastranegara Airport which can be located at the heart of Bandung city nowadays has a runway with its PCN classification fixed at 50 F/C/X/T or equals to a total flexible type pavement thickness precisely on 740 mm. Nevertheless, Boeing 737-800 defines its classification at maximum state up to 51 on ACN scale. Therefore, overlay act upon runway pavement needs to be studied in order to enhance its classification. ACN/PCN is one of ICAO renowned method to determine pavement thickness, while recently FAA has developed a cutting-edge method by using a computerized program called FAARFIELD (FAA Rigid Flexible Iterative Elastic Layer Design). In accordance with the earlier issues, ICAO method analyzes the need of 1041.4 mm pavement thickness for graphical technique and 940.6 mm for analytical technique, while FAARFIELD should only require 840.8 mm pavement thickness in determining its flexible type runway due to the previous overlay act. The presented results of both methods established that runway pavement of Husein Sastranegara Airport shall be improved by an overlay layer immediately

Abstract

Fenomena alam kekeringan merupakan kejadian unik yang biasa dan menggambarkan iklim yang senantiasa berulang di dalam suatu wilayah. Kekeringan berpengaruh terhadap ketersediaan air baik di permukaan maupun di bawah tanah yang apabila berskala besar, fenomena ini bisa berubah menjadi bencana. Mengingat besarnya kerugian yang bisa diakibatkan oleh kekeringan khususnya di daerah pertanian, maka diperlukan upaya untuk memantau fenomena ini. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis indeks kekeringan di Daerah Irigasi (DI) Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu Provinsi Riau. Diharapkan dari penelitian ini dapat tersedia informasi kekeringan agar dapat menjadi masukan bagi pengambilan kebijakan dalam upaya menyusun rencana agar dapat melakukan penanggulangan dan pengurangan dampak kekeringan. Terdapat tiga analisis utama yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini, yaitu analisis indeks kekeringan menggunakan metode Keetch Byram Drought Index (KBDI), analisis indeks kekeringan menggunakan metode Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI), dan analisis indeks kekeringan menggunakan metode Teori Run. Indeks kekeringan Metode KBDI menunjukkan hasil bahwa sifat kekeringan di lokasi penelitian didominasi oleh sifat ?Sedang?. Analisis dengan Metode SPI menunjukkan hasil bahwa sifat kekeringan di D.I Kelayang adalah ?Normal?. Teori Run dengan kala ulang 5 tahun memberikan hasil durasi kekeringan di D.I Kelayang selama 3,5 bulan dan jumlah kekeringan adalah 249,305 mm. Waktu-waktu yang harus mendapat perhatian lebih adalah bulan Juni hingga September karena pada bulan-bulan ini kekeringan menunjukkan sifat yang lebih kering dibandingkan bulan-bulan lainnya.

Abstract

Penurunan kualitas dan kuantitas Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) berkaitan erat dengan kegiatan perubahan penggunaan lahan dari kawasan bervegetasi menjadi kawasan terbangun. Kota Depok memiliki RTH privat sebesar 40,68% dan RTH publik sebesar 9,32% (Bappeda, 2007). RTH privat telah melampaui standar 10%, sedangkan RTH publik masih lebih kecil dari standar 20%. Namun demikian, hal ini telah sesuai dengan UU RI No. 26 tahun 2007 dimana RTH minimal 30% dari luas wilayah.Permasalahan yang ada pada Kota Depok adalah banjir yang terjadi di beberapa Kecamatan di Kota Depok, yaitu Kecamatan Cimanggis dan Sukmajaya, faktor iklim yang seringkali tidak menentu dan minimnya ruang gerak masyarakat, yang menjadi salah satu penyebab meningkatnya tingkat stress atau jenuh bagi masyarakat di Kota Depok. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan penempatan RTH yang tidak merata penyebarannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis RTH Kota Depok dengan pendekatan model Model Indeks kenyamanan berdasarkan faktor iklim mikro melalui Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan beberapa parameter (suhu, Kelembababan, kecepatan angin, titik embun dan penggunaan lahan), Rekomendasi penggunaan lahan berdasarkan factor iklim mikro dan menganalisis hubungan antara indeks tingkat kenyamanan (Temperature Humidity Index) dengan RTH. Pendekatan Model Iklim Mikro menggunakan sistem indeks tingkat kenyamanan (Temperature Humidity Index). Citra Landsat 7 ETM dan Landsat 8 OLI yang diambil pada tanggal 18 dan 22 Oktober 2018, digunakan untuk identifikasi penggunaan lahan yang merupakan parameter utama dan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) digunakan untuk mengkombinasikan seluruh parameter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kota Depok memiliki luas 5830,478 Ha atau 28,95% dari total luasan tutupan lahan keseluruhan 20136,5672 Ha sesuai peta administratif Kota Depok. Hal ini Belum sesuai UU RI No. 26 Tahun 2007, dimana proporsi RTH minimal 30% dari luas wilayah. Serta Kota Depok memiliki Temperature Humidity Index (tingkat kenyamanan) dari masing ? masing land use yang dilakukan pengambilan data iklim mikro adalah Area Hutan Kota memiliki THI sebesar 26,99 ºC masuk dalam kategori nyaman, Area Taman Kota memiliki THI sebesar 27,83 ºC masuk dalam kategori tidak nyaman dan Area Kawasan terbangun memiliki THI sebesar 28,61 ºC masuk dalam kategori tidak nyaman.

Abstract

Obyek wisata yang berupa bangunan wisata dapat ?dijual? untuk menunjang pembentukan dan sustainability city branding kota Cirebon. Untuk dapat ?dijual?, bangunan wisata tersebut harus dalam kondisi yang layak dan memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengamatan langsung dan analisis komparatif deskriptif terhadap Masjid Sang Cipta Rasa dan Masjid Merah Panjunan sebagai obyek penelitian dalam menentukan kesiapan sarana dan prasarana bangunan wisata. Fasilitas dan aksesibilitas sebagai sarana bangunan wisata berpedoman pada empat asas yaitu: 1) asas keselamatan; 2) asas kemudahan; 3) asas kegunaan; dan 4) asas kemandirian, sedangkan bangunan wisata sebagai prasarana berpedoman pada lima persyaratan yaitu: 1) persyaratan keselamatan; 2) persyaratan kesehatan; 3) persyaratan kenyamanan; 4) persyaratan kemudahan; dan 5) persyaratan efisiensi, seimbang, serasi dan selaras. Terjaganya sustainability sarana dan prasarana bangunan wisata dapat diwujudkan melalui pemeliharaan bangunan yang dikelompokkan menjadi lima aspek antara lain: 1) arsitektural; 2) struktural; 3) mekanikal; 4) elektrikal; dan 5) tata luar ruang dan house keeping. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sarana dan prasarana Masjid Sang Cipta Rasa dan Masjid Merah Panjunan belum memadai dan belum optimal, terutama pada aspek keselamatan dan kebersihan. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya yang lebih sinergis dari semua pemangku kepentingan dalam pemeliharaan kota sehingga bangunan bersejarah sebagai potensi pariwisata dalam menunjang pembentukan city branding dapat dioptimalkan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pencemaran air berdasarkan beberapa parameter kadar pH, TDS (Total Dissolve Solid), EC (electrical Conductivity), dan temperature air dari dua sumber mata air, yaitu satu lokasi di daerah Industri dan dua di daerah pemukiman penduduk dengan metode pengambilan sampel air secara rutin setiap hari selama dua bulan. Dengan hasil rata-rata untuk air tanah industri adalah : pH 8.19, TDS 194.50ppm, EC 378.75µs, dan temperatur 26.61oC. Sedangkan untuk daerah pemukiman adalah : pH 8.08, TDS 265.36ppm, EC 435.18µs, dan temperature 25.46oC. Berdasarkan data diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas air di Pemukiman dan di Kawasan industri masih layak untuk dikonsumsi. Hal ini mengacu pada Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia No. 32 Tahun 2017.
