Abstract

AbstractThe difficulty in choosing Foundation colors is very influential for the makeup of one of them is makeup party. Because the wrong in choosing foundation colors make a striped face does not correspond to the skin color. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in the foundation color application against the skin of dark face on party makeup.This type of research is a pseudo experiment (quasi experiment) with the research design of Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The inside object of the study is a woman who has a dark skin 18-25 years old with a sample number of 3 people. The data analysis techniques used are test normality, homogeneity test and Anava test.Based on the research result of foundation color application against the skin of dark face on party makeup seen from the foundation level grading indicators and the foundation color conformance level. Foundation color application Results One level brighter has an average level of smoothness 2.28 level of foundation color conformity has an average of 2.14. Foundation Color application Result one-level darker level of smoothness has an average of 2.14 foundation color conformity 2.28. The results of the application of two colors foundation one level lighter mixing with one level darker the level of smoothness has an average of 3.28 the foundation color conformity level has an average of 3.14. There is a foundation color difference against dark facial skin on party makeup at the foundation's smoothness level 5.029 > 3.55 and foundation color compatibility level 4.031 > 3.55. A suggestion to choose the appropriate foundation color that is one lighter level is mixed with one darker level. Keywords: color foundation, dark facial skin, makeup Party

Abstract

This reseach aims to determine the effect of work involvement on employee productivity at Favehotel Olo Padang. This type of research is classified as associative quantitative research. The puopulationin this the reseach were all employees at Favehotel Olo Padang. The reseach sample ammounted to 38 employees with the sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity ang reliability. Data were analyzed by sample linear regression testing through the help of the SPSS computer Program version 16.00. the results of the study show: 1) The involvement of employees at Favehotel Olo Padang is in poor category (39,48% ). 2) Employees productivity in the good category (42,10%). 3)  R square 0.115 and a significance value of 0.037 which means that there is a significant influence between work involment on productivity is 11,5% while 88.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research originated from the observations of researchers when doing the experience of  the industrial field in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, ehere there are still problems with the work dicipline of employees and the leadership of the general manager. This study aims to determine the effect of general manager leadership on employee work dicipline in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang This type of research is quantitative with associative causal method. The study population was Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang employees totaling 54 people. The sampling technique in this study uses a non-probability sampling technique, while the type  of non-probability used is proportionte stratified random sampling. The data in this study uses primary data for both variables obtained dirctly from employees through  a questionnaire compiled based on the likert scale which has been tested for validity an reliability. data analysis technique in this study used regression test with  the help of SPSS version 24.00 The results of the study show that: (1) the leadership of the general manager is in the good category  of 50%. (2) the work dicipline is in the good category of 50%. (3) the results of the simple linear regression hypothesis test obtained F 15.605  with sig 0,000<0,05.  Then the general manager leadership variable can explain the varible                                                                           work dicipline           of employees at 23,1% and 76,9% influenced by other factors. Obtained t value   of 3.950 with traf sig 0,000<0,05. Then there is a significant influence between the two variabels. Then obtained a lnear regression coefficient of 0,517 with a sig value of 0,000<0,05 . meaning that every  increase in a general manager  leadership unit will increase 0.517 work dicipline of Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi karena kurangnya kesadaran mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang dalam mentaati peraturan berbusana yang telah di tetapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa tentang peraturan berbusana ke kampus di Jurusan Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang . Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Kesejahteraaan Keluarga Jurusan Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang angkatan 2012 - 2017 yang terdaftar pada semester Januari - Juni 2019 sebanyak 487 orang. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel adalah proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS 16. hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi mahasiswa tentang peraturan berbusana ke kampus berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu 90,26%. Hal ini berarti mahasiswa berpersepsi bahwa mahasiswa dalam berbusana ke kampus telah sesuai dengan peraturan yang telah di terapkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Pariwisata dan Perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian berawal dari pengamatan peneliti terhadap tampilan visual feeds dan postingan Instagram hotel-hotel berbintang di kota Padang. Sementara masyarakat pada era milenial ini cenderung memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai sumber informasi ketika akan memesan hotel. Kemudian, banyaknya keluhan terhadap media promosi online hotel-hotel tersebut karena tidak memberi informasi sesuai yang diharapkan padahal sebenarnya fasilitas hotel tersebut bagus dan layak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat tampilan visual feeds dan postingan Instagram hotel-hotel berbintang di kota Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei. Data penelitian didapat dengan menyebarkan angket penilaian yang disusun menggunakan skala likert kepada penilai yang meliputi ahli desain komunikasi visual, ahli pemasaran dan konsumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan skor rata-rata berdasarkan klasifikasi penilai. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tampilan visual feeds dan postingan Instagram hotel-hotel berbintang di kota Padang tersebut berada pada kategori tidak baik, kurang baik, cukup dan baik. Dan tidak ada satu hotel berbintang pun yang berkategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the discovery of problems related to service management in Padang Bunda Hotel. The purpose of this study is to describe service management in Padang Bunda Hotel that includes aspects of tangibility, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative and quantitative data. For qualitative data, informants in the study were HRD and Hotel Bunda supervisors, the informants were determined by purposive sampling. For quantitative data the population in the study was guests staying at the Padang Bunda Hotel with a total sample of 93. Non-probability sampling with incidental sampling technique. Data collection techniques for qualitative data are by observation, interviews, and documentation and for quantitative data using a research questionnaire. Data analysis for quantitative data is metabulation of data, description of data and for qualitative data that is data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results showed planning, organizing, acting and monitoring there were some that were applied, and some that were still not implemented in service management at Hotel Padang. As in the case of employee uniform planning that has not been established because there are some constraints, and organizational structures that do not exist in some service indicators, and implementation there are some that do not go well. The results of evaluating services to guests at Bunda Hotel Padang show that one service indicator shows that the category is sufficient and 4 other indicators show a good category meaning that Hotel Bunda Padang has not provided maximum or very good service to guests.

Abstract

Abstract This research originated from the results of PLI 2 along with pre-research results for guests using the function room at the Axana Hotel in Padang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of servicescape on guest satisfaction at the Hotel Axana Padang function room. This type of research is quantitative with an associative causal approach. The number of samples of this study is 98 people with the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) using the Likert scale method that has been tested for validity and reliability. Then the data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS version 16.00 program. The results showed that Servicescape was in the very good category with a percentage of 89.90% and guest satisfaction was in the excellent category with a percentage of 71.43%, and there was a influence of servicescape variables on guest satisfaction by 39% while 61% was influenced by other factors. Abstract

Abstract Dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh work family conflict terhadap kinerja karyawan wanita di the sanchaya bintan. Jenis penelitian ini digolongkan kepada penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan wanita yang berkerja di the sanchaya bintan sebanyak 54 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan skala likert yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis melalui analisis deskripsi dan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan Program Komputer SPSS versi 20.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Work Family Conlict di The Sanchaya berada pada kategori Cukup dengan persentase 46,30%, 2) Kinerja  karyawan wanita di The Sanchaya Bintan berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase 66.67% . Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai R Square sebesar 0,206 dengan taraf sig. 0,001 < 0,05, maka variabel Work Family Conflict dapat menjelaskan variabel Kinerja Karyawan Wanita sebesar 20.6% dan 79.4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kata Kunci: Work Family Conflict, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of research is to determine the effects of Promotion mix to Room Purchasing Decision in Hotel Daima Padang. This type of research is quantitative with associative causal methods. The population in this study is the guests who have stayed with the monthly average is 1.555 people. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, using purposive sampling method. Number of sample in this research amounted to 94 people. Data collection using a questionnaire based with Likert Scale that tasted for validity and reliability. The results showed that: (1) Promotion mix is in the good category with a parcentage of 57%, (2) Puchasing decisions are in the good category with a percentage of 71%, (3) The results of the study using the t test showed that the five indicators of the promotion mix (Advertising, Personal selling, Sales promotion, Public relation and Direct marketing) room purchasing dicisions as the dependent variable significantly with the value of R square of 0,239. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan periklanan, 2) mendeskripsikan minat beli, 3) menganalisis pengaruh periklanan terhadap minat beli kamar di Imelda hotel waterpark convention Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Rata-rata populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tamu maupun orang yang pernah mencari informasi, mempertimbangkan untuk membeli, tertarik untuk mencoba, mengetahui produk, atau ingin memiliki produk di Imelda Hotel Waterpark convention  populasi berjumlah 1.005 orang per bulan,  sampel  diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling  dengan jumlah 91 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan bantuan program komputer SPSS versi 20.00.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) periklanan berada  pada  kategori baik (68,1%), 2) minat beli berada pada kategori baik (58,2%), 3) R Square 0.097 dengan signifikansi 0,003 artinya pengaruh variabel periklanan terhadap minat beli kamar adalah sebesar 9,7%, sedangkan 90,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.    Kata Kunci: periklanan, minat beli, kamar.   Abstract This study aims to 1) describe advertising, 2) describe buying interest, 3) analyze the effect of advertising on buying interest in rooms at the Imelda hotel waterpark convention Padang. This type of research is quantitative with a causal associative approach. The average population in this study are guests and people who have sought information, consider buying, are interested in trying, knowing the product, or want to have a product at the Imelda Hotel Waterpark convention population of 1,005.2 people per month, samples taken using the technique purposive sampling with a total of 91 people. The data analysis technique was using SPSS computer version 20.00. The results showed that: 1) advertising is in the good category (68.1%), 2) buying interest is in the good category (58.2%), 3) R Square 0.097 and Significance 0,003 means that the influence of advertising variables on room buying interest is 9 7%, while 90.3% is influenced by other factors.
