Abstract

Writing for most students is a language skill that is difficult to master. This research on writing skills is based on observations and experiences of researchers towards the low ability of SMK students in writing. This is because learning to write at school is still conventional. The selection of learning models has not been a top priority by teachers. The communicative model can be used to improve writing learning to foster a sense of writing and improve learning outcomes. The results of the act of using a communicative approach to writing activities at SMK Multimedia Nurul Huda Poncokusumo showed an increase when compared to conventional writing learning. Improving the ability of students in writing occurs through several stages carried out in three cycles using the communicative model.Keyword: writing, communicative model, learning

Abstract

Mathematics is a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology. Mathematics learning is done through communication between teachers and students with tools both in the form of audio-visual and print. Media is a tool for the learning process to clarify the meaning of the message delivered, so that it can achieve the learning objectives better and more perfectly. The use of media is not judged by the sophistication of the media but more important is the function and role in helping the learning process. This development research aims to produce media for the topic of trigonometric equations. This media is designed to be applied in cooperative learning and aims to improve students' problem solving abilities. Media development was carried out using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). To get media that is valid, practical and effective in accordance with the criteria set by the author, the researcher compiles the RPP and research instruments supporting the implementation of the media. The validation results indicate that the media and supporting instruments have met the validity criteria. The results of trials in the field indicate that the media has met the criteria of practicality and effectiveness.Keywords: development, card media, trigonometry

Abstract

The learning process will always be missed by the students if the implementation is done by means of interesting learning styles with the term paikem which is processed in various directions, raises many ideas, is encouraging, expresses, moves the behavior of individuals to play an active role and is able to manage the learning process that is commanded, managed, manipulated, creativity and independence that are in accordance with individual abilities at certain stages. Research on this occasion was patterned with a type of classroom action research consisting of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity, observation, reflection, and revision. The subject of this research is the first semester students of Class VIl SMP Islam Nurul Huda Poncokusumo Malang Academic Year 2018/2019. Data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The model used is Snowball Throwing with the following stages. (1) The teacher delivers the material to be presented; (2) Next, form groups and call each group leader to give an explanation of the material, each group leader returns to his group, followed by explaining the material conveyed by the teacher to his friend; (3) Each student is given one sheet of paper, to write down any questions related to the material explained by the group leader. Obtained the results of data analysis, that student learning achievement has increased from cycle I to cycle III. When the first cycle (66.67%), then the second cycle (76.19%), and the last cycle III (93.48%). The present study concluded that learning with the Snowball Throwing method can have a positive effect on the learning achievement and motivation of first semester students of Class VII SMP Islam Nurul Huda Poncokusumo Academic Year 2018/2019, also this learning model can be used as one of the Indonesian learning alternatives. increase student learning motivation.  Keywords: classroom action research, fantasy material, snowball throwing method

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning process and learning achievement of PKn by applying social inquiry learning strategies. Social inquiry strategies are one of the learning strategies by systematically structured ways of thinking and ways to find out their own (inquiry) knowledge and concepts. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach. The study was conducted with 2 cycles in 2 (two) meetings. The research subjects were XI IPA1 SMA Sunan Kalijaga Jabung Malang. Data obtained in the form of observation sheets of student and teacher activities and tests of student learning outcomes each cycle. The results of this study are the achievement of improved PKn learning process as evidenced by the scor activity of students in the first cycle (3.1) interpreted active student activities, and cycle II obtaining scor (3.78) means that in the learning process students are very active. Observation of teacher activities also showed an increase with scor in the first cycle (3.1) which means that the teacher's activities in the learning process were in a good category, experienced an increase in cycle II with Scor (3.7) which was very good. Student learning achievement also increased with the value of the test cycle I amounting to (78.9) with the percentage of completeness (68.4%) increasing in the second cycle the test score was (86.3) with the percentage of completeness (92.1%). The conclusion is by applying the strategy of social inquiry learning in improving learning and learning achievement in PKn subjects. Keywords: learning process, learning achievement, social inquiry

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of skills in expressing opinions of junior high school students through the use of PBL on PPKn subjects. Skills to express opinions are accuracy, choice of words (diction), fluency, relevance, clarity, performance and respect for others. The success of the action is indicated by 75% completeness criteria. The research design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The method of data collection consists of observation sheets, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis techniques with percentages. The results of the analysis prove that PBL can improve the ability to express the opinions of junior high school students with an average value of very good and good criteria which is 78.23%, which means that PBL can improve the skills of expressing opinions of SMPK students through civic education subjects. Keywords: problem based learning, skills, student opinions

Abstract

This mix method research was conducted for seventh grade students at Nurul Huda Poncokusomo Islamic Middle School, East Java. The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the role of teachers in problem-based learning. The research instruments are worksheets, observations, and tests. Each worksheet contains 2 math problems and 2 test questions. This learning is carried out in two learning sessions. The results show that there is an increase in students' ability to solve problems about the set, both given on worksheets or tests. The problem-based learning steps help students to investigate either in groups or independently. Besides that, this learning can improve students' understanding so that they are able to solve problems about the set. Another increase was shown by the existence of teachers and lecturers in organizing and guiding students by involving students in real situations.Keyword: problem-based learning, set, collaborative learning

Abstract

Competitive value and excellence are always driven to create the best service, quality to all stakeholders by the government, including the Regional Government with the SKPD. Regional autonomy coupled with decentralization is intended to make the government closer to its citizens so that the local government quickly responds to the problems that are developing to find out the solution to the solution. Each Regional Government wants its area to be said to be friendly to investors, because with investors opening its business (production) in the area, several benefits are obtained, such as: opening up employment, developing economic dynamics, living area markets, local revenue (PAD) expected to increase. This paper narrates the results of research in the Lamongan District Government in 2016, the Regional Investment and Licensing Agency, with focus 1) Public service innovation policies by the Regional Government, and 2) Public service innovations conducted by SKPD. Data analysis uses Nine steps from Strauss and Corbin (1990) and Neuman (2000).  The results of his research are: 1) Local governments are very responsive to the support of policy innovations, both in the form of product policies (Regent Regulations), funding, institutions and reward rewards for SKPD that innovate after the assessment is conducted. 2) Innovations carried out by the Agency include concepts, mindset, SOP and service promises "PACE" (Quick Package).Keywords: Quick Package, Innovation, Service

Abstract

Chemistry practical is really needed in teaching and learning process of chemistry subject. This practical work may given the opportunity for the students to participate in teaching and learning process actively. One of the most valuable media which can be used in this practical work is module based of guided inquiry method. Though developing is module in Salahutu district of high school, we can improve the student activity and creativity in managing their practical work. The 4D by Tiagarajan and Semmel model has been used in developing this modul. 4D model is one of the development model which consists of four stapes, they are define, design, develope, and disseminate. Acording to the results of small group experiment, its show that 70% of student has the very good activity and 30% is in good category of managing their practical work. Furthermore, the large group experiment give result that 85,2% of the student manage their practical work ini very good criteria and 14.6% of then doing it in good criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence on the use of animated cartoon media on student learning activities and outcomes. This type of research is experimental research. The research method used the one-group pretest-posttest design. This study used two research classes as an experimental class and a control class. The location of this research is MTs Negeri 05 Madiun. The subjects of the study were the eighth-grade students of MTs Negeri 05 Madiun as many as 40 people with details of 20 students as the experimental class and 20 students as the control class. The results showed that there was an influence of the Use of Animation Media on Activities and Learning Outcomes of Student on the struggle material of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W in State MTs 05 Madiun. It could be proven that the average value of the percentage of student learning achievements in the experimental class 85.62 and 80.31 in the control class. Then the results of the t-test ? of t table 3.50 ? 2.20. Keywords: learning outcomes, animation media

Abstract

The application of varied lecture methods can arouse student learning motivation, because this method students can be active in providing responses to questions posed by teacher and students. Besides this method is also not boring students in teaching and learning activities, and the teacher can use a variety of media that is accompanied by fresh humor so that the classroom atmosphere becomes excited and the results achieved will be better. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an increase in students? motivation by using varied lecture methods. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Subjects were 47 students in State Elementary School I of Sidogiri. In this study conducted 2 cycles. The results showed that in the first cycle 32 students got grades according to graduation standards and 15 students did not meet graduation standards. However, in the second cycle showed that 42 students scored according to the graduation standard and only five said and only 5 students did not meet the graduation standard.
