Abstract

NONY is one form of small business engaged in the agribusiness processing of agricultural products in the form of soy extract. But as time passes, more and more business actors engaged in the same field. This will undoubtedly threaten the existence of NONY company in producing soybean extract, sharing various strategies must be done so that this company can survive. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the optimization of production factors to determine what production factors need to be improved or reduced. Also important thing is from marketing side, NONY company need to do marketing mix analysis satisfyed consumer in order to maintain customer loyalty that make company can survive. This study uses multiple linear regression method to find analysis of factor optimization and marketing mix analysis to NONY soybean  consumers. For analysis of production factor optimization using Cobb Douglas factor input analysis. Using 100 screening samples in order to obtain good results, followed by looking for the influence of marketing mix to consumers The result of this research shows that sugar production factor is very influential to NONY soybean production process and it is necessary to reduce the use of taste and worker to increase the optimization of production. Product and Promotion factor in marketing mix influences consumer's satisfaction and loyalty, where the consumer of NONY soybean extract comes in. in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of badag on the percentage of carcass cattle from starin / different nationalities and cattle origin. The research was conducted in RPH Kademangan, Blitar regency for 4 months ie from January to April 2017. The material used was 200 head of cattle including Limmousin Peranakan Ongole (LimPO), and Simmental Peranakan Ongole (SimPO). The parameters observed were nation, age, live weight and cutting result. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that cattle from intensive farming (fattening) the carcass proportion of the SimPO nation (52.45%), and LimPO (51.38%). The weight of life is very significant effect on the percentage of carcass produced (P <0.05). Cattle derived from intensive farming (fattening) with the SimPO nation is more effective compared to other cattle origin and race. (R / C Ratio and B / C Ratio higher).

Abstract

Fruits are a source of vitamins and minerals needed by the body. Apart from being a source of vitamins and minterals, watermelon is one type of fruits that have a high economic value. One company that seizes the watermelon business opportunity is CV Tani Makmur. To maintain the business of watermelon fruit, CV Tani Makmur party needs to do a strategy for the company to grow and avoid the loss. The purpose of this research is (1) An analize the development strategi of watermelon agribusiness, (2) Identify development strategi of internal and external area. This research was conducted from February to June 2017. The results of internal environmental analysis with IFE matrix shows that the business of watermelon CV Tani Makmur has a total score of 3.1234. This value is above the average value of 2.5 indicating that the development of the watermelon business CV Tani Makmur is above average, ie the company is able to utilize its strength quite well. In addition, the company can minimize its weaknesses quite well. While the results of external environmental analysis with the EFE matrix shows that the business of watermelon CV Tani Makmur has a total score of 2.3079. This value is below the average score of 2.5 indicating that in the business development of watermelon fruit, CV Tani Makmur less respond to opportunities that exist. In addition, firms are less able to avoid threats to the watermelon business. Companies can be managed with grow and build strategies. The result of the strategy with the SWOT matrix resulted in seven alternative strategies. The QSP matrix resulted in the priority of the alternative strategy in the business strategy of watermelon fruit of CV Tani Makmur with the highest STAS (Sum Total Attractivity) score is to develop the human resources performance to increase the production and the broader target market with STAS of 5.4266. This strategy is a strategy of utilizing the company's strength to overcome the weakness of the watermelon business of CV Tani Makmur.

Abstract

Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan adalah membantu petani membentuk pendapat yang sehat dan membuat keputusan yang baik dengan cara berkomunikasi dan memberikan informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan petani. Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan merupakan agen bagi perubahan perilaku petani dan penyuluh pertanian lapangan membantu petani untuk meningkatkan usaha tani sehingga kinerja petani akan meningkat. Melalui pengorganisasian petani dalam kelompok ? kelompok maka diharap dapat terjalin kerjasama antar individu, antar kelompok dimana kelompok berfungsi sebagai kelas belajar, wadah belajar dan unit produksi. Kelompoktani merupakan wadah belajar mengajar bagi anggotanya guna meningkatkan pengetahuan, ketrampilan sikap dan perilaku petani serta tumbuh dan berkembangnya kemandiriannya dalam berusahatani sehingga produktivitasnya meningkat, pendapatanya bertambah serta kehidupan yang sejahtera. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran penyuluh pertanian lapangan terhadap kinerja kelompok tani. Jenis penelitian crossectional dengan sampel petani di Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan uji statistik spearman rank korelasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to know the effect of land area to the production of sugarcane farming business at Ngadiluwih-Kediri; (2) To know the effect of capital on sugarcane farm production at Ngadiluwih-Kediri; (3) To know the influence of labors on the production of sugarcane farming business in Ngadiluwih-Kediri; (4) to know the influence of land area, capital and labors simultanously to production of sugarcane farming business in Ngadiluwih-Kediri; (5) to know the most dominant influence of variable land area, labor and capital to the production of sugarcane farming business in Ngadiluwih Kediri. Population used in this research is sugar cane farmer in Ngadiluwih-Kediri Regency. This study uses Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. This technique is used when the population has non-homogeneous elements and is taken randomly, but proportionately. By utilizing Slovin formulations in the sampling with the accuracy of 10% obtained 95 respondents. This study uses instruments that have been developed by previous researchers. The instrument used is a questionnaire with Likert scale 5 for each research variable. The results showed that: (1) Labor has a positive influence on the production of sugarcane farming in Ngadiluwih Kediri Regency. (2) Capital significantly has a positive influence on the production of sugarcane farming in Ngadiluwih Kediri Regency. (3) Land area significantly has a positive influence on the production of sugarcane farming business in Ngadiluwih Kediri Regency. (4) Together labor, capital and land area have a positive effect on the production of sugar cane farming business in Ngadiluwih Kediri Regency. (5) The result of dominance test analysis to know the effective contribution shows that capital has the most dominant contribution in influencing the production of sugarcane farming business in Ngadiluwih Kediri Regency.

Abstract

Strategi Pemasaran Benih Jagung dengan Merek Khusus Celeron, telah menjadi strategi pemasaran benih jagung yang dilakukan oleh PT Srijaya Internasional Kediri. Tujuan Penelitian adalah 1. Untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal pemasaran benih jagung dengan merk khusus di PT Srijaya Internasional dan 2. Untuk menentukan strategi pemasaran benih jagung yang tepat di PT Srijaya Internasioanl dalam meningkatkan volume penjualan benih jagung merek khusus ?Celeron?. Tempat penelitian di PT Srijaya Internasional Kediri, dimulai sejak bulan Maret 2017. Metode Analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan Analisis SWOT. Hasil Analisis SWOT menunjukkan Kombinasi Strenght Opportunity (SO) yang paling tinggi skorenya. Strategi SO tersebut menghasilkan empat strategi yaitu (1) Kualitas benih jagung yang baik akan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan benih jagung, (2) Merek Celeron sudah terdaftar sehingga bisa dipakai untuk varietas lain, (3) Harga jual kompetitif dan perluasan area pemasaran, akan meningkatkan omzet penjualan adan akhirnya meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan, (4) Pola kemitraan dengan petani plasma baik, serta manajemen yang baik, Modal usaha cukup serta didukung oleh SDM berpengalaman, akan mampu memperluas jaringan pemasaran

Abstract

Dairy Cattle Raising livestock in Kediri as a dairy farm development areas in East Java is still a small-scale businesses. The level of production, the level of consumption, the origin of milk protein needs can not be fulfilled optimally, although natural resources support. Therefore, a dairy farm in Kediri is still possible to develop the necessary strategy and development of effective and efficient. The purpose of this study, among others, is to establish the region as an area representative dairy farm agribusiness development, establish appropriate strategies for the development of agribusiness dairy farm as well as to arrange alternative agribusiness development strategy dairy farm in Kediri. Research using primary and secondary data types. Primary data collection techniques for interviews, direct interviews and questionnaires with respondents specialists/experts and entrepreneurs (dairy farmers). Analytical techniques used include the analysis of LQ (Location quation), AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and SWOT analysis. LQ analysis results showed the District of Ngancar adequate as agribusiness development area dairy farm with a second buffer area in District Kandangan. The appropriate strategy is growth stability (stability of growth) through horizontal integration strategy for improved economies of scale. Alternative strategies for the development of agribusiness dairy farm are: 1). S-O Strategies (Strength-Opportunity) which is to increase the number of dairy cow population through the conclusion of joint venture or partner with another party patterns, expand markets, improve production facilities and technology, optimize land and increase the types of dairy products; 2). Strategy W-O (Weakness- Opportunity) that creates unity and container farmer groups, improve product processing, making the central areas of quality dairy cows, the increase in feed processing and increase sales promotion; 3). Strategy S-T (Strength-Treath) that increased adoption of technological innovation, empowerment of farm credit by farmers, community empowerment in the dairy cattle business, enhance the competitiveness of milk products and the application of quality assurance and food safety at pengohahan livestock products; 4). Strategy W-T (Weakness -Treaths), namely recruitment, upgrading and development of the role of technical facilitator breeding and selecting distribution channels marketing of primary products fresh milk dairy cows. To improve the effectiveness of the strategy has been formulated needed prioritized intervention to these strategies is a priority. In addition, institutional management for the development of agribusiness dairy farm systems need to be identified and carefully engineered so that the strategy adopted to encourage the achievement of the goal of developing agribusiness dairy farm in Kediri.

Abstract

  This research purposes for determining the use of agricultural mechanization and  its impact on rice farming in Sidomulyo Gapoktan, of Sananwetan District of Blitar City, which is expected to improve the living standards and welfare of its group members. The total samples which taken were 50 rice farmers of Sidomulyo Gapoktan in Sananwetan District of Blitar City. The sampling taken using purposive random sampling technique, which is deliberately chosed based on criteria which determined by the researcher.   The Data analysis was carried out descriptively, using the Mann-Whitney Test and the Multiple Linear Regression Cobb Douglas model. Based on the results of the study,  it was found that the mechanization of rice farming in Sidomulyo Gapoktan, Sananwetan District, Blitar City has not still optimal. This is caused by the farmers' perceptions of the results of unsatisfactory performance of agricultural machinery, a sense of humanity towards' farm labors, narrow area of farming and insufficient availability of agricultural machinery. The result of reseach which was used Mann-Whitney Test analysis, found that pesticide using and labor requirements were smaller and differed significantly in the use of full mechanization rather than partial mechanization. Harvest variable costs were lower in the use of full mechanization and were significantly different than using partial mechanisms. The Productivity of  rice in full  mechanization is 782,15 kg / 1000m2 while in partial mechanization was 682.87 kg / 1000m2. For farmers' income in full mechanization is Rp. 1,153,407, - per 1000 m2, in partial mechanization of Rp. 1,590,574, - per 1000m2. Multiple Linear Regression Analysis of the Cobb Douglas model shows that the land area (m2), seed costs and the use of mechanization have a significant influence on the income of rice farming in Sananwetan District, Blitar City.

Abstract

This research is conducted to determined the suitable  strategy towed agribusiness development of layer chicken livestock, by understanding the business owner profile to analyse SWOT (strenght, weakness, opportunity, threat) factor. Agribusiness perform important role, it includes production circle, yield processing, and product selling. Strategy analysis is cundected in external and internal environment. Beside that, the demand of highnutrient chicken egg keep increasing annually. Through this strategy to exploit and to create a new opportunity must be supported by missions, purpose, and the environment codition, and it is expected to mee the demand of chicken population increase among business owner especially in kediri ration. The research was using descriptive method by collecting variabels of the size ofeach individu, interview equipment, and questions list in quisioner,sampling method was random sampling to 15 person business owner in three different villages in regency kediri. The criteria of the interviewee was business owner with around 500 to 10.000 chicken populations. Layer chicken business is a promising business because a chicken can produce averagely 250 to 280 egg per year, the chicken must be maintained based on environment standard including cage sanitation and quality of the food. There are 3 stage of growing layer chicken, thy are starter stage, grower stage and layer stage. The biggest output in chicken livestock is the feed. Therefore, self produced feed is the one becomes the most suggested by mixing the cornmill and consentrate to minimalize the cost. Based on the date from central bureau of statistic, the demand of chicken eggs are still realtively high, because egg has been known as one of food material that contain good nutrition. Thanks to the cooperation relation between business owner, middle man, and village local cooperation which can increase the income of local business owner. Ngancar with it?s strategic location provide practical egg distribution to the middle man or the cansument. Therefore, SWOT, EFAS, IFAS analysis application are suitable to the chicken business development, either for present condition or the future, also considering the price fluctuation can be considered as a threat to the business owner, hopefully this research may give solution to change the threat into the new opportunity to increase the quality of layer chicken livestock around kediri regency

Abstract

Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan pada Industri Kecil Bakso di 3 (tiga) Desa yaitu Desa Loceret, Desa Bajulan dan Desa Jatirejo Kecamatan Loceret  Kabupaten Nganjuk  Propinsi Jawa Timur, mulai 15 Maret ? 15 Mei  2017. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk : menganalisis faktor-faktor strategis; mendeskripsikan  strategi permodalan, produksi, pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia dan Pemasaran; merumuskan alternatif strategi dan menentukan prioritas strategi apa yang dapat diterapkan dalam pemasaran Industri kecil bakso di Kecamatan Loceret Kabupaten Nganjuk. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan peneliti tentang permasalahan yang dikaji; dapat menjadi sumbangan pemikiran dan bahan pertimbangan dalam menyusun kebijakan yang lebih baik di masa yang akan datang, terutama dalam strategi permodalan, produksi, pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia dan Pemasaran pada industri kecil bakso yang digunakan. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh industri kecil bakso di 3 (tiga) Desa yaitu Desa Loceret, Desa Bajulan dan Desa Jatirejo Kecamatan Loceret  Kabupaten Nganjuk  Propinsi Jawa Timur sebanyak 43 responden dari 127 industri keci bakso di Kecamatan Loceret Kabupaten Nganjuk.  Pengambilan sampel sumber data dilakukan secara purposive dan snowbaal, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan triangulasi (gabungan) melalui Wawancara atau interview, Observasi dan Pencatatan. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis data bersifat induktif/kualitatif melalui : (a) Analisis Faktor Internal dan Eksternal usaha kecil bakso dengan Matrik External Factors Evaluation (EFE) dan Matrik Internal Factors Evaluation (IFE) (b) Analisis Posisi usaha kecil bakso dengan Matrik Internal External (IE) (c) Analisis SWOT dan (d) Menentukan Prioritas Strategi dengan Matrik QSP (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix/Matrik Perencanaan Strategis Kuantitatif) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Strategi produksi industri kecil bakso adalah bahan baku yang digunakan merupakan bahan baku yang kualitasnya sedang, pembuatan bumbu sangat diperhatikan agar mendapatkan cita rasa yang khas dan tidak berubah ? ubah dalam setiap produksi, tempat produksi bakso berada dibelakang/dapur  rumah produsen, penggunaan tenaga kerja yang sudah terampil dalam proses produksi bakso, pemilik industri kecil bakso ikut serta dalam proses produksi;  (2) Strategi pemasarannya adalah harga jual yang murah, peningkatan penjualan pada saat mendapatkan pesanan untuk acara tertentu dengan di barengi ciri khas dan cita rasa yang dimiliki para pedagang bakso, Promosi dengan mengaktifkan kembali koperasi untuk menaungi kebutuhan para pedagang bakso baik dari segi produksi maupun pemasaran, memanfaatkan peluang pemasaran hingga ke luar kota dengan angkatan tenaga kerja muda yang merantau; (3) Strategi pengembangan sumber daya manusia (tenaga kerja) yaitu, tenaga kerja yang sudah berpengalaman mengajarkan keterampilan dalam membuat bakso kepada angkatan kerja yang sudah siap untuk bekerja, sudah adanya rencana pengaktifkan kembali paguyuban industri bakso yang sempat berhenti dengan suatu alasan tertentu, adanya tambahan tenaga kerja dari luar daerah dalam industri kecil bakso, pemberian upah tambahan atau bonus bagi tenaga kerja yang bekerja dengan giat; (4) Sedangkan strategi permodalannya adalah, Modal awal berasal dari modal sendiri dan kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pembukuan keuangan.
