Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan pokok bagi kehidupan manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terutama untuk minum, masak, mandi dan mencuci. dalam upaya penyediaan air bersih dan sehat bagi masyarakat pedesaan yang mana kualitas air tanahnya buruk serta belum mendapatkan pelayanan air minum dari PAM, oleh karena itu masyarakat perlu membuat alat pengolahan air minum sederhana yang murah dan dapat dibuat oleh masyarakat dengan bahan yang ada dipasaran. Kebutuhan akan teknologi untuk pengontrolan sirkulasi air berperan penting dalam pengolahan air bersih dimana pada prosesnya diharapakan dapat bekerja secara otomatis, peran penting otomatis ini sangat berguna selain memudahkan untuk pengolahan air bersih dan tentunya dapat juga menghasilkan air bersih yang lebih efektif, pada penelitian ini dilakukan sebuah perancangan alat proses aerasi dan netralisasi pH dengan menggunakan komponen analog dimana proses kerja yang di lakukan dapat mengatur proses pengandukan air, proses pengendapan dan bukak tutup valpe atau keran otomatis di atur berdasarkan waktu yang di seting dari sirkulasi air.dari hasil pengujian di dapat unjuk kerja perancangan alat sesuai dengan yang di harapkan, namun demikian pada penelitian dini tidak mengukur kadar dan pH air tetapi hanya proses kontrol secara elektrikal.

Abstract

The need for electrical energy is a necessity that can not be ditawar?tawar anymore for a life worthy of every person in this day. Generally, remote rural areas located in mountainous areas have a large potential of water energy, so that the hydroelectric power plant is one of the energy sources that can be developed. Jambi is an area covered with Batanghari River flows. This research aims to know how the work process of Microhydro power plant.  Components of the essential components of miniature microhydro power plants are reservoirs, rapid pipes, turbines, generators where these components are not loose bias, interrelated to one another. Round of Tubin obtained from the experiment is 400 rpm with water discharge 0.0016 m3/s. The maximum voltage generated by the generator is 18 volts. Voltage generated from the generator to charging the Batrai used inverter of 13.1 volts. The load will remain on even though the main energy source is the generator stop in the same, because the energy of the second is Batrai.

Abstract

Inverter is an electronic device that functions to change current direct (DC) into alternating current (AC) with the magnitude of the voltage and frequency can be adjusted, the output of an inverter in the form of AC voltage in the form of a square wave. Then testing with different types of Step Up CT transformers to get the test results and analysis. And the working principle of this inverter circuit is that the TIP122 and 2N3055 Transistor driver pulses are generated by the IC CD4047 pulse generator, the pulses of the Astambil Multivibrator circuit are 2 pulses with a phase that reverses 180º. The Q and Q pulses are used to provide drivers to the TIP122 and 2N3055 transistors and will induce the Step Up Transformer in turn. So the Step Up Transformer will be able to induce in 2 directions from the CT point. because of the induction process, the transformer primary will provide an AC voltage of 220 volts with a square wave shape. This type of inverter can only be used for lamps, the price is cheaper because it is used to back up the lamp.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the needs that can not be separated from human life in general. The demand for electrical energy over time is increasing, for which an unlimited source of renewable energy availability in nature needs to be developed to meet the needs of electrical energy. In the city of Jambi and its surroundings, the state of the territory is covered by a stream of batanghari river flow and extensive field conditions, free from the wind barriers both the trees and buildings for which this condition is required to undertake more in-depth research studies of wind power, using wind speed data at a certain height allows for the availability of electrical energy. In this study the location to determine the parameters of wind energy is in the city of Jambi with geographic position at coordinates 1.59,103,600-219, this study uses explorative survey method by conducting direct measurement in the field, this study aims to determine the potential of wind energy that can be converted into electrical energy, how decent wind speed conditions in the city of Jambi to be utilized into electrical energy. From the data obtained, the average wind speed in a year using primary data at 2 meters from the batanghari river edge is 2.45 m / s and the maximum effective power produced by the windmill assuming the 4 m2 cross-sectional area is 374.68 Watt which occurs in July, when applied to the Micro Wind Turbine Z - 400W [5] specification can generate electrical energy, but the resulting electrical energy capacity is very small.

Abstract

Distribution network planning is not loose from how the distribution system is built. From planning (the construction of the following components) to implementation in the field, determining the quality and reliability of the system can be fulfilled. This research analyzes about the implementation of medium-voltage air duct components (SUTM) 20 kV rework location Merbau in the area Ma. Tembesi Kab. Batanghari-Jambi, is in accordance with the standard used by PLN (S-PLN). One is how to determine the number of components used in a SUTM project. The research method used is the observation and measurement methods in the field. The observation method uses standardized standard theory according to the standard Book of State electricity General Company (S-PLN). The results concluded that the use of components in the field for the use of an AAAC cable conductor for 11,025 M is almost close to the standard, the difference only ranges from 7.2% (+). While the use of Poles although the same number of 70 BH covers a type of concrete pole 12 m 200 And as many as 69 BH, pole 9m 100 And 13 PCs, but there is a difference in the amount of the use of Poles 12m and 9m between the calculated and realization values The use of poles of certain lengths for project executor should reference the PLN standard even though the workload is still being fulfilled (200 And). With always being evaluated in each project, this data can be used as input for the project owner or executor, so that the quality and reliability of the system can be fulfilled

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of water turbine used on micro hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) by observing the influence of high variation falling water to the turbine generated round and rotation transmission variation with different pulley diameter to generate the rotation used for rotating the generator. The results showed that high water-falling water streams have an effect on the resulting rounds of turbines, and varying the pulley transmission system can also maximize the rotation on the generator.

Abstract

Boost Converter adalah perangkat catu daya listrik untuk menaikan tegangan DC (Direct Current), teknologi Boost Converter ini berdasarkan pada mode pensaklaran menggunakan pembangkitan sinyal PWM (Pulse Width Modulation )yang diperuntukan  kepada komponen saklar daya  pada rangkaian Boost Converter, sinyal PWM ini mempunyai duty cycle untuk memberikan kendali pada kenaikan keluaran tegangan. Pada penelitian ini pengaturan duty cycle menggunakan LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), yang mana pada fungsinya LDR akan mempunyai nilai hambatan yang besar dalam keadaan gelap dan mempunyai nilai hambatan yang kecil dalam keadaan terang. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan LDR mampu memberikan perubahan  duty cycle terhadap perubahan intensitas matahari sehingga perancangan Boost Converter pada penelitian ini mampu menaikan besar tegangan keluaran pada panel surya

Abstract

The more the number of vehicles increases, the more problems that arise, for example air pollution from running engine activities and the amount of used tire waste from the vehicle. Waste from used tires can cause various serious problems if not handled properly. Used tires are waste that is harmful to the environment. This type of waste will be difficult to decompose by decomposing bacteria, this will be very dangerous for the environment. This study aims to analyze tables and sofas by utilizing car tire waste as the main raw material and in order to fulfill the ENASE aspect so that the tables and sofas made can be said to be ergonomic. The methods used in this study include qualitative and quantitative methods. Data processing techniques in this study used a comparison test and multiple linear regression test (ANOVA) to ensure relevant data. In the comparison test that has been done there are differences between all variables before and after and in the multiple linear regression test (ANOVA) that have been carried out there is no influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable.

Abstract

The generator uses a permanent magnet so it does not require initial excitation to generate a voltage. The generator design is axial flux type, uses ceramic type permanent magnet (NdFeB), uses two flanking stator rotors. For electricity use, the AC voltage is changed to DC voltage using a rectifier for charging the accumulator. The air gap in the axial generator is the distance between the rotor and the stator. The air gap is also a place for the transfer of the magnetic field through the coil on the stator to produce a magnetic flux value that affects the induced voltage in the coil. The faster the rotation, the greater the voltage generated. This axial generator that has been designed can produce a frequency of ± 50 Hz, an effective voltage of ± 22 V when the air gap is 2 mm, the frequency measurement has an error of 10-20 Hz and an error percentage of 5-10%, with the results of measuring the induced current that has a large the same voltage.

Abstract

The Arduino Board has been widely used as a prototyping device for both educational, research and commercial purposes. The ability of Arduino boards to be connected with electronic devices or gadgets such as Android operating system devices is getting more attention among researchers. By utilizing the various capabilities possessed by most Android operating system devices on the market today, the Arduino board will certainly have extraordinary intelligence. Some of the ways that Android devices can communicate with Arduino are via a Bluetooth shield, Wi-Fi shield, and also by serial communication. The idea that emerged was to utilize the ATMega328 microcontroller serial communication capability on the Arduino board. Serial data sent from an Android device is passed through an audio jack cable then connected to the Rx port on the Arduino board. In this Final Project will be designed and realized serial communication between the Android and Arduino platforms through audio channels with text input with the aim that Android can send text data through audio channels with audio cables. In testing the data speed utilizing the Arduino serial monitor it was found that the optimal speed was 19200bps. Whereas the maximum speed is 38400bps which can still be used for uniform serial data communication with an error of less than 5%. However, the maximum speed cannot be used for diverse data because the data error is more than 30%. The data cannot be read at speeds of 14400bps, 28800bps, speeds under 300bps and speeds above 57600bps.
