Abstract

As been coming ages, modern technology integrates into every life aspect including in field survey. Nowadays, one of the modern technology namely Global Positioning System (GPS). The GPS system was first developed by the US Department of Defense used for both military and civilian purposes. This system is designed to provide threedimensional position, speed, and information about world which is not affected by time and weather. Presently, GPS has been widely used by people all over the world who is need information about position, speed or time. To determine the coordinates of points on earth, the receiver requires at least 4 satellites to capture the signal correctly with the coordinates obtained referring to the global datum such World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS'84). GPS is divided into 3 types: Type of navigation or handheld, generally used in battle field or navigation purposes. Some vehicles have been equipped with GPS for navigation aids by adding a map to guide the rider thus rider know which pathway should be chosen to arrived at the destination. GPS mapping is a GPS tool used to calculate an area or create an important route in transit. Type Mapping has an accuracy level between 1-3 meters and mapping types require a base station serving to receive satellite signals and transmit them to a GPS receiver. Geodetic type is the most meticulous and most sophisticated type than navigation or mapping because it has a level of accuracy below 1 meter. The price of geodetic type is most expensive.

Abstract

This district of Katigan is a small part of the entire area and land surveys for the purposes of paddy field printing of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Agriculture Office. This activity aims to find the feasibility of irrigation potential that will flow through the paddy fields that have been in clean and clear condition in terms of the area, included in the category of decent land for rice crops, and the existence of adequate water sources to flow the rice fields. The water requirement for plants is basically obtainable directly from the rain water, the rainfall each season will not be the same. Therefore, we need a way to manage water with a need to manage water optimally, one of them is the use of irrigation system. The planned irrigation system for the Katingan irrigation area and its surroundings is a gravity irrigation system. The irrigation network used is a technical irrigation network. The total irrigation area is 352,6 Ha. The planned plot is 3 plots with the area of each plot between 3,6 ha to 99,9 Ha. The water requirement per hectare before adjusting to the efficiency of each channel is planned to be 1.2 ltr/s/ ha.

Abstract

One of the components that play a vital role to the success of a construction project is construction prices, namely material prices, leasing and purchasing equipment prices, and construction wages. In the planning stage, the price used is the approximate price that will valid at the time of the project activities. At the implementing stage, the price used is the result of detailed estimates approaching real conditions at the time of the project activities. At the stage of monitoring and evaluation, the price will be reviewed to the conformity of the realization in the field, both the quantity and quality, further compared with employment contract. Research on the affecting factors of price construction materials is important. Furthermore, the affecting factors will be analyse to get a model approach for relevant price of construction materials. The construction material object in this research was timber. The study was conducted to obtain primary data and secondary data. Secondary data was performed to establish the factors that are predicted to affect the price of wood materials. Primary data were collected by distributing a questionnaire to 15 contractors in the city of Palangka Raya. Data obtained from the questionnaire and then analyzed by Severity Index (SI) for establishing the factors that affect the price of wood materal. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by the PLS model to obtain a model of approach to wood material prices. The study states there are several factors that affect the price of wood materials, namely economic factors, location factors, material resources factors, transport factors, and regulatory and government policies factors. Model approach to set the price of wood material by using PLS analysis showed that the material resources has an effect on the price of wood material, while the most dominant variable is the location factor.
