Abstract

This  research was conducted with the aim to empirically examine the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity Against Stock Returns on Real  Estate  and  Property  Companies on the Indonesia  Stock Exchange. The research period was carried out for 4 (four) years, namely 2014-2017. This type of research is causal research,  that is, this study  looks  for  a causal  relationship  between  independent  variables  and  the  dependent  variable. The population in this study are all Real Estate and Property companies listed on the IDX, wich were 48 Real Estate and Property. The sample in this study was obtained  by  purposive sampling method that is sampling  based on criteria; (1) Registered as an active Real Estate and Property company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2017, (2) Companies that publish their annual reports on the IDX, (3) Real Estate and  Property Companies that issue CR, DER  and ROE for each  consecutive  period  from  2014-2017. Based on these criteria, 36 Real Estate and Property companies were obtained. Hypothesis testing is done by panel data regression analysis, but before testing hypotheses first testing classicalassumptions. The results of hypothesis testing are done partially, namely the t test shows that CR has a positive and insignificant effect on stock returns, DER has a significant negative effect on stock returns and ROE has a significant positive effect on stock returns.

This research was conducted with the aim of empirically testing the effect of Debt To Equity Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Return On Equity, Quick Ratio Against Earning Per Share for Companies in the Textile and Garment Sub Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014-2017 Period. The research period was carried out for 4 (four) years, namely 2014-2017. This type of research is causal research, that is, this study looks for a causal relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. The population in this study were all textile and garment sub-sector companies listed on the IDX, which were 18 textile and garment sub-sector companies. The sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method. Based on existing criteria, 14 textile and garment sub-sector companies were obtained. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing are done partially, namely the t test shows that DER has a sig value. t is 0,000, the regression coefficient (B) is 38,611 and t is calculated: 4,796, the result states that DER has a significant positive effect on EPS. NPM has a sig value. t is 0,000, regression coefficient (B) is 12,726 and t is calculated: 29,230, the result states that NPM has a significant positive effect on EPS. ROE has a sig value. t is 0.002, the regression coefficient (B) is -1.485 and t is calculated: -3.3321, the result is that ROE has a significant negative effect on EPS. QR has a sig value. t is 0.480, the regression coefficient (B) is -13.095 and t is calculated: -0.712, the result is that QR has a negative effect that is not significant for EPS.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of the financial performance of hte stock price. Company that the sample is a consumer goods company that has gone public listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2006-2010 period by 30 companies. The dependent variable used is the stock price while the independent variable is Return On Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Debt ti Equity Ratio (DER) and Earning Per Share (EPS). In this study using a multiple regression test, t test, and classical assumption. Assessement of the effect of independent variable on the dependent variable was partially and using the classical assumption test for normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation. The research using multiple regression test showed that the Net Profit Margin (NPM) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a probability of 0.0715, respectively, and 0.4396 ata a significance level of 0.05 (5%), both variables no significant effect on stock price. While Return on Equity (ROE) and Earning Per Share (EPS) have respective probabilities 0.0000 and 0.0000 at tha significant level of 0.05 (5%), than two variables significant effect on stock prices because probability of 0,001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R square is equal to 0.847. this means that the ability of the four independent variables explained 84.7% of the dependent variable. And of the results of the classical assumption states that the problem of test for normality and heteroscedasticity test, whereas the multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test no problems.

Data analysis technique used panel data regression. Regression with using the free variable short term debt (STD), long term debt (LTD), and total debt (TD). Based on the results of data analysis, STD has no significant effect on ROE. Variable LTD has a significant effect on ROE. The TD variable has no significant effect with ROE. so the STD and LTD variables are able to influence the ROE variable explained by other factors outside this research model.
