Abstract

According to the key used, cryptography can be divided into two, namely: symmetric cryptography and asymmetric cryptography, each of which has advantages and disadvantages. The selection of asymmetric cryptographic algorithm can perform the encryption process in a short time, but the key security is less secure, so it must be changed frequently. While asymmetric cryptography is the opposite, the security of key distribution can be overcome, but the data encryption process is slower. The coding process in this study uses two cryptographic algorithms, namely the Vigenere Cipher algorithm as an example of the symmetric algorithm and the RSA (Rivest Shamir Adleman) algorithm which is an example of an asymmetric algorithm. The purpose of this research is to calculate and implement so that it can be applied to overcome the weaknesses that occur from the two types of cryptography. The hybrid cryptosystem coding method is always used to overcome the weaknesses of the two cryptographs. The results show that there is an increase in security in encryption because there will be two encodings, namely message encoding with the Vigenere Cipher cryptographic algorithm and key coding with the RSA cryptographic algorithm. Besides, there is an increase in the time in the encryption and decryption process. From the results of the research, it takes 424 milliseconds in the encryption process and 335 milliseconds for the decryption process with 59,400 characters. A hybrid cryptosystem coding method using a combination of Vigenere Cipher and RSA can be implemented to increase text security and increase speed in the encryption process.

Abstract

>The characteristics of autistic children that tend to focus on their world encourage the writer to conduct this research. Their communication weaknesses have become a problem that faced by parents and teachers. This fact is reasonable because autistic children often create their own ways to communicate, such as using a word that has unique meaning for them or by making their own words to convey their needs or convey their intentions. The development of the world of technology and information is considered solve the learning problems for autism community, especially to improve the mastery of a foreign language (English language). An Android-based learning software/ application or learning model create for autistic children is one of examples that the author believe can help autistic students in their communication skills through a special language learning media or method that based on mobile learning / android app. A learning innovation that aims to help communication / improve foreign language mastery in this case vocabulary for autism children is one of the language learning innovations that want to be designed through this research as a guide or learning guide for them because autistic children prefer to do something based on their own way with a media or tool that have responsive value to attracts their attention.

Abstract

School as one of the processes for implementing formal education is required to carry out the learning process optimally to produce quality students. Regarding the research process carried out to predict the graduation rate of SMA Nurul Falah students by using the decision tree method. The data used in this study are student data using the criteria for student names, majors, average report cards from semester one (I), two (II), three (III), four (IV), five (V), and the average value of the National Standard School Examination (USBN). The data is then managed using Rapidminer 5.3 software to make it easier to predict student graduation rates. The application of data mining is used to predict the graduation rate by using the decision tree method and C4.5 algorithm as a supporter as well as to find out information on the graduation rate of Nurul Falah High School students. This study aims to predict student graduation rates in order to get useful information and the school can make policies in the coming year.

Abstract

Unemployment is a serious social and economic problem faced by the Pematangsiantar City government, high unemployment is also caused by the low education and skills of the workforce. To be able to reduce the number of unemployed, especially in the city of Pematangsiantar, it is necessary to predict the unemployment rate based on urban villages in the three sub-districts of the city of Pematangsiantar, so that the government has a policy so that it can tackle the number of unemployed. The data used in this study are unemployment data based on 19 urban areas from 2013-2017 in 3 districts in Pematangsiantar City. Data sources were obtained from the Pematangsiantar 03 / SS Koramil Office. The research method used is Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. Data analysis was performed with backpropagation algorithm using Matlab. There are 5 network architecture used, namely 2-35-1, 2-38-1, 2-41-1, 2-43-1, 2-46-1 with the best model is 2-38-1 which produces accuracy by 79%. Thus this model is good enough to be used to predict the unemployment rate based on wards in 3 sub-districts in the city of Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

The increasing purchasing power of consumers in purchasing products at large stores nowadays often displays only samples of goods. So that customers often feel confused to see in detail the form of goods to be purchased, so that customers often feel confused and seek employees to ask questions about the details of the item to be purchased. The main objective of this research is to create, design and build a front end database server that is useful for consumers in increasing customer convenience in shopping at the mini-market retail business. The use of the application that will be made is in the form of a barcode scanning feature wherein each individual there is information in the form of item details such as id, name, dimensions, quantity, colour, price, and images of goods obtained from the scanned items that have been entered into their respective identities description of goods. The app also features a fast checkout feature. The use of this application can be searched using an internet application. It can be accessed wherever the customer is because the cashier programming is directly connected to the web server provided by the supermarket.

Abstract

Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is often used to solve forecasting cases. As in this study. The artificial neural network used is with backpropagation algorithm. The study focused on cases concerning overcrowding forecasting based District in Simalungun in Indonesia in 2010-2015. The data source comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Simalungun Regency. The population density forecasting its future will be processed using backpropagation algorithm focused on binary sigmoid function (logsig) and a linear function of identity (purelin) with 5 network architecture model used the 3-5-1, 3-10-1, 3-5 -10-1, 3-5-15-1 and 3-10-15-1. Results from 5 to architectural models using Neural Networks Backpropagation with binary sigmoid function and identity functions vary greatly, but the best is 3-5-1 models with an accuracy of 94%, MSE, and the epoch 0.0025448 6843 iterations. Thus, the use of binary sigmoid activation function (logsig) and the identity function (purelin) on Backpropagation Neural Networks for forecasting the population density is very good, as evidenced by the high accuracy results achieved.

Abstract

At present, information technology is an important part for companies to meet their needs and support the achievement of strategic plans for the company. Providing competitive advantage, increasing effectiveness, time, and reducing expenses is the role of information technology that is very vital in today's business trade. By researching information technology governance using the COBIT 5 Framework in a company, it can be seen whether the company has met the requirements of the C indicators. In this study, we discussed resource management audits at the North Sumatra One-Stop Integrated Investment and Licensing Service Office to find out these capability indicators and have obtained results by conducting interviews using questionnaires distributed online to employees at the Service. With this research, we found that some indicators do not meet the capability of a company.

Abstract

The more advanced science and technology from various disciplines, currently rainfall can be predicted by carrying out various empirical approaches, one of which is by using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN). This study aims to apply ANN with backpropogation algorithm in predicting rainfall. The research data used is BPS data of the transfer city. The results of the study state that of the 6 models (4-5-1, 4-10-1, 4-25-1, 4-5-10-1, 4-5-25-1 and 4-5-50-1) architecture that was trained and tested using Matlab 6.1 application software, the results showed that the 4-5-25-1 architectural model was the best model for making predictions with 75% truth accuracy, Training MSE 0.001004582, Testing MSE 0.021882712 and Epoch 59,076 . It is expected that research can provide input to the government, especially BMKG Pematangsiantar city in predicting Rainfall based on computer science so as to improve the quality of services in the fields of Meteorology, Climatology, Air Quality and Geophysics in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Abstract

Indicators to evaluate the role of the local and central government in the welfare of its population, especially in the health sector, can be seen from the life expectancy of the community. Therefore the aim of this study is to predict the life expectancy of the Acehnese using the Cyclical Order Weight / Bias Algorithm. This study uses life expectancy data for the population of Aceh in 2010-2019 based on city districts consisting of 23 regions, which were obtained from the Aceh Central Statistics Agency. This study uses 6 architectural models, including: 8-5-1, 8-6-1, 8-7-1, 8-8-1, 8-9-1 and 8-10-1. After analyzing and calculating the 6 architectural models, the 8-9-1 model was chosen as the best with an accuracy rate of 91% and MSE testing 0.0010800577. The results of this study are in the form of the best architectural model that can be used to predict the life expectancy of the Acehnese people.

Abstract

The development of e-archives is a part of an effort to completely manage to archive at PT Haleyora Powerindo Sorong. This research aims to see the factors that cause e-archives cannot be used optimally and also to develop e-archives as needed. The analytical method is a prototype method. The result of this research is the creation of electronic archives that have been developed with innovative and solutive design, menus and function that answer the factors that cause e-archive not be used optimally.
