Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: efek langsung dari motivasi pada kepuasan kerja di Danau Toba International Hotel Medan; Efek langsung dari motivasi kerja kinerja karyawan; Efek langsung dari iklim kerja pada kepuasan kerja; efek langsung dari iklim kerja kinerja; Efek langsung dari kepuasan kerja kinerja karyawan; Pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja; langsung Efek langsung dari iklim kerja pada kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja. Kuesioner didistribusikan kepada 124 responden. Data sampel dianalisis melalui model (SEM) dengan metode maksimum kemungkinan persamaan struktural. Temuan-temuan penelitian: motivasi memiliki efek langsung yang signifikan pada kepuasan kerja di Danau Toba International Hotel (HDTI) Medan, dengan koefisien dari 0.967; Motivasi memiliki efek langsung yang signifikan pada kinerja karyawan, dengan koefisien dari 1,778; Iklim kerja memiliki efek langsung tidak signifikan pada kepuasan kerja, dengan koefisien dari-0.035; Iklim kerja memiliki efek langsung tidak signifikan pada kepuasan kerja, dengan koefisien dari-0.097; Kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan koefisien dari-0.799; Motivasi kerja tidak memiliki efek tidak langsung yang signifikan pada kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja; Iklim kerja memiliki efek tidak langsung yang tidak sinergis pada kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Tourists are the consumers of the services of Tour and Travel company. With its position as a consumer, where the position between tourists and the Tour and Travel company is opposite. Tourists need to have legal protection that can provide a sense of security in the use of services provided by the Tour and Travel company. which in this case acts as a producer. It does not have to be denied, however, that the number of tourists who use the services of Tour and travel company are often neglected their rights. Whereas it is very clear that the right of tourists is regulated in Article 20 of Law Number 10 of 2009 on Tourism.

Abstract

The research objective is to find out: the elements of social capital in the Lake Toba region; The main components of social capital that affect tourist satisfaction in the Lake Toba region; The main component with the highest relationship or influence on social capital. Questionnaires were distributed to 170 respondents aged 17 years and over. International tourists as many as 19 people and domestic tourists as many as 151 people. Data is reviewed by exploratory factor analysis techniques. The results of the study are: Social capital that influences tourist satisfaction includes 15 components; Extraction of components produces 3 main components; The main components include: Tourist satisfaction with community trust in the Lake Toba area; Tourist satisfaction with community norms in the Lake Toba region; Tourist satisfaction with the social network of the community in the Lake Toba region; The highest average loading factor for component 1.

Abstract

The study, entitled implementation of the Communication Strategy In Tourism development and the development of tourist destinations in the County of Samosir (case study in Tourism Samosir Tuk Village and Siadong) intends to unveil on the implementation communication development strategy in tourism development and tourist destinations in the County of Samosir, case studies on Samosir Tourism Office and Neighborhood Tuk Siadong. Research methodology using a qualitative approach. Informant research taken based on purposive sampling, i.e. people who are considered to be competent or meets the criteria of knowing the implementation of tourism communication. From the research found kounikasi tourism is already implemented, but not run effectively. Among other things, government officials apparently do not know Siadong Tuk is a tourist village.

Abstract

This research entitled: Sales Strategy of North Sumatera Inbound Tour in PT. Narasindo Medan. This research aims to determine the strategies, procedures and problems associated in sales of North Sumatera Inbound Tour in PT. Narasindo Tour & Travel Medan. This research uses qualitative descriptive method, which becomes subjects in this research is all staff of PT. Narasindo Medan and the samples are Inbound Tour staff consist of 7 people. The results of this research indicate that PT. Narasindo Medan has a good sales strategy in terms of sales of North Sumatera Inbound Tour by creating appropriate products/services, according to market or demand, making tourism components attractive and channeled along with other public travel bureaus in tourism. In terms of Inbound Tour sales procedure is sufficient but still has drawbacks: not actively doing promotions including in various media available which is very helpful. The problems that PT. Narasindo Medan struggled in terms of selling the inbound tour of North Sumatera are a very tight competition because of the travel agent increase more in this time and also online travel agent which more practice and easier for customers.

Abstract

Business activity in the MMTC Pancing not as expected. With a wide range of facilities that are expected as an appeal to the people or consumers to visit this region, but the condition of the opposite happened. Many shop are not yet in operation, so the business district is still quiet. Various policies have made the company, yet provide optimal results, so we need the right strategy by considering the internal environment and external environment MMTC Pancing. The purpose of this research is to formulate a strategy in order to increase business activity in the shop that sold in the business district MMTC Pancing. This type of research in this study is action research, with the data analysis SWOT analysis. The results of the data analysis resulted in the diversification strategy of the strategy pursued by forming various types of business or activities that are related or not related to each other to increase business activity in the MMTC Pancing

Abstract

It is important to understand that the legal agreements must be recognized by law. The agreements that do not meet the statutory requirements, it is not recognized by law, even though the agreement is agreed upon by the parties concerned. The purpose of this study is to find out the agreement on risk liability between tourist and tour operator in participating of rafting adventure tour package. This research was conducted through a normative juridical approach that was descriptive in nature. The data source of this research was obtained from library research. Then it is analyzed using qualitative analysis which describes and analyzes important data.The conclusion of this study is that in carrying out assumption of risk and release of liability agreement between the tour operator and tourist in following the whitewater raftng adventure tour package.The tour operators still use standard agreements (exoneration clauses) in their transactions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis komunikasi internal dan produktivitas kerja karyawan di hotel berbintang di Kecamatan Ajibata Kabupaten Toba Samosir. Untuk mengetahui apakah komunikasi internal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan di bidang tata graha. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan jenis penelitian metode kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari 15 orang responden, jawaban responden tersebut kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS dengan melakukan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, serta uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi internal berpengaruh hanya sebesar 3,6 % terhadap produktivitas kerja. Dilihat dari hasil tersebut bahwa dapat dikatakan komunikasi internal hanya berpengaruh sedikit terhadap produktivitas kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Peranan Komunikasi Pariwisata PT Lovely Holidays Medan dalam Mempromosikan Objek Wisata Daerah Sumatera Utara. Yang bertujuan untuk menganalisisis komunikasi pariwisata PT Lovely Holidays Medan dalam mempromosikan objek wisata daerah Sumatera Utara, menganalisis faktor-faktor komunikasi pariwisata yang dimiliki PT Lovely Holidays Medan, dan menganalisis bagaimana promosi objek wisata daerah Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian diambil berdasarkan purposive sample (sampel bertujuan). Kriteria sampel harus aktif menggunakan komunikasi pariwisata dalam mempromosikan objek wisata Sumatera Utara. Sampel yang terpilih ada 22 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara untuk memperoleh informasi dari informan, penelitian dokumen dari observasi. Dari penelitian ditemukan wisatawan yang umumnya puas dan tidak merasa tertipu dengan materi promosi yang dikomunikasikan komunikator (PT Lovely Holidays). Menurut semua informan, PT Lovely Holidays berupaya menyajikan informasi yang jelas dan tak bermakna ganda. Ini menjaga kepercayaan pelanggan atas paket-paket wisata yang ditawarkan.

Abstract

This study aims to: Test and explain namely: the effect of culture of organizationon Commitment; The effect of Culture of Organizationon turnover intention; the effect of work satisfaction on commitment; The effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention; The effect of commitment on turnover intention; The indirect influence of Culture of Organizationon turnover intentions through commitment; The indirect effect of work satisfaction on turnover intention through commitment. Respoden as many as 109 people, all hotel employees. Data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results of the study are: Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on Commitment; Culture of Organizationhas a positive and not significant direct effect on turnover intention; Work satisfaction has a positive and not significant direct effect on commitment; Work satisfaction has a direct negative effect and is not significant for turnover intentions; commitment has a negative and not significant direct effect on the intention to employees’ move; culture of organizationhas a negative and not significant indirect effect on turnover intention through commitment; Work satisfaction has a negative and indirect significant effect on turnover intentions through commitment.
