Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the association between participation in performance pay systems and employees’ satisfaction with job conditions. A survey method was utilized to collect data from subordinates who serve at disaster management agencies in West Malaysia. The findings of SmartPLS path model analysis display four important outcomes: first, the relationship between participation in pay plans and satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions was not significant. Second, relationship between participation in pay operations and satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions was not significant. Third, the relationship between participation in pay plans and satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions was significance. Finally, the relationship between participation in pay operations and satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions was significance. This finding demonstrates that participation in pay plans and participation in pay operations do not act as important predictors of employees’ satisfaction with intrinsic job conditions. Conversely, participation in pay plans and participation in pay operations do act as important predictors of employees’ satisfaction with extrinsic job conditions. Further, this research delivers discussion, implications and conclusion.

Abstract

Student creativity program in this entrepreneurship class, we run a business program of making cute accessory shelves from used cardboard. This used cardboard is very easy to get at the nearest shops or buy and sell used goods and the price is also quite affordable. Besides being easy to get, used cardboard is also easy to make several forms of crafts, one of which is a shelf. The shelf that we are going to make is a small shelf model where this shelf is made in various shapes, which will make many people like these models. Here what we need in addition to tools and materials is that we need skills and strong creative power. So that the shelves that we will create can attract consumers to buy. In the community, there are many unique shelves that make consumers want to buy them, but the price is a little less affordable for consumers' wallets. Therefore we take advantage of this situation to make cute accessory racks in order to help consumers more comfortable arranging their accessories or makeup with hemp by using this cute accessory rack that we made. The form of our business is that it is still in an individual stage and indeed this business is still new and is still trying to enter the business world. But we already have our own business brand, namely "RASEL" which means Cute Accessories Rack. In the future, if this business can get extraordinary profits and have enough customers, then we will increase this business to be even bigger.

In implementing the empowerment of education staff the leaders coordinated, but on the other hand,  the methods used to optimize work were still conventional. Evaluation of the empowerment of education personnel is carried out still by manual process, including the reporting system: The supporting factors include; Availability of internet access and utilization of technology for monitoring. Openness in planning to evaluation. The participation of all faculties in ensuring the optimization of education staff. Dedication and totality of education staff, especially team who have been assigned for more than five years in FKIP. While the inhibiting factors include: The flow of institutional planning and organization at the university which is considered too long (less simple), most monitoring and evaluation systems still use manuals, but online (modern) reporting and evaluation systems are being prepared. Central government policies related to the procurement of facilities and infrastructure that must be submitted a maximum of two years earlier. All activities need to be planned with good predictions so that challenges for HR (Human Resources) planning. The absence of performance monitoring technology, such as CCTV as a support tool for staff control in managing facilities and infrastructure.
