Abstract

The research objectives are to increase of the activity of and physics’ accomplishments of students in grade X Science-2 by guided inquiry learning based multimedia. The research was being conducted in the second semester of 2016-2017. Research method that was used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) that was undertaken in two cycles and two sessions in every cycle. Each cycle consisting of the stages planning, action, observation and relection. The research instruments were to identify students observation in the groups, sheets of observation of students in the teaching and learning activities, sheets of of the observation of the activity of the teacher in the teaching and learning activities, and the instrument of the physics test of a momentum and impulses . Learning physics by guided inquiry learning based multimedia had increased the activity of students in teaching and learning activities of the average score 71.8 to 85. Students became more active in noting a lesson, analyzed problems, to act critical and argue in scientific terms. The application of guided inquiry learning based multimedia had improved the ability of achievements physics students from the average score 71,7 to 84 on first cycle and be 93 in second cycle.

Abstract

The role of psychology of mass communication is very important in developing the competence of Hajj supervisors and improving professionalism as a Hajj guide. In this scientific article the writer formulates a problem, how the Hajj supervisor can increase his competence in carrying out guidance activities. The purpose of this paper is to describe the role of mass psychology in increasing the professionalism of the Hajj pilgrimage guides which have an impact on the success of the implementation of the Hajj. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of the role of mass communication psychology also describe the importance of understanding the mass psychology of the pilgrims in the effectiveness of communication between the congregation and their supervisors so that the objectives of the communication can be achieved properly.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep pengembangan profesi dan keterampilan menyusun publikasi ilmaiah peserta Diklat Teknis Substantif PKG dan PKB bagi guru Madrasah Aliyah di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Jakarta tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, rubric dan wawancara terstruktur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, melalui diklat Teknis Substantif PKG & PKB bagi guru Madrasah Aliyah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap konsep pengembangan profesi guru dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun Publikasi Ilmiah.

Abstract

This classroom action research answers three questions, namely (a) Is there an increase in the ability tounderstand the concept of circumference and area of flat shapes by using real media? (b) How is the useof real media increase understanding of circumference and area of flat shapes? The study was conductedin two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection,and revision. The subject of this research is students of class VII-2 MTsN 28 Jakarta. Data werecollected through questionnaires, teacher and student activity questionnaires, formative test, andteaching and learning activity observation sheets. Data were analyzed descriptively using descriptivestatistics and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the students' ability to understand theconcept of the circumference and area of a flat shape increased from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycleof meeting 1 (31.6%), the first cycle of meeting 2 (55.8%), the second cycle of meeting 1 (71.1%), thesecond cycle of meeting 2 (92.1%). The conclusion of this study is the use of real media can increaseunderstanding and have a positive effect on understanding of circumference and area of flat shapes.The research recommends that teacher can use real to better teaching in the curriculum area. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menjawab tiga pertanyaan yaitu (a) Apakah terjadi peningkatankemampuan pemahaman konsep keliling dan luas bangun datar dengan digunakannya alat peragarealita? (b) Bagaimanakah penggunaan alat peraga realita terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsepkeliling dan luas bangun datar?Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dariempat tahap yaitu: rancangan, kegiatan dan pengamatan, refleksi, dan revisi. Sasaran penelitian iniadalah siswa kelas VII-2 MTsN 28 Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket pengelolaan kelas, angketaktifitas guru dan siswa, hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Data dianalisissecara deskriptif menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunukkanbahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep keliling dan luas bangun datar pada siswa mengalamipeningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II. Pada siklus I Pertemuan 1 (31,6%), siklus I Pertemuan 2(55,8%), siklus II Pertemuan 1 (71,1%) siklus II Pertemuan 2 ( 92,1%). Simpulan dari penelitian iniadalah penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan dan berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuanpemahaman konsep keliling dan luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar para gurusebaiknya menggunakan media realia dalam pembelajaran materi tersebut.

Abstract

The study aims at improving critical thinking skill of screenagers – students who frequently face their smartphone screens – to be more critical consumers of information in the Internet era. Technological advances have made the instantaneous access to information possible. However, valid information exists in the same context as the fake ones. The challenge now appears to be abilities to distinguish valid and fake information. Using a 10-minute critical thinking activities during the lead in stage as the action, the research explores how integrating critical thinking and problem solving in daily classroom activities help nurture students to be critical in the information coming to their social media accounts. To achieve the objectives, a classroom action research involving cycles of Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting was conducted in an Islamic-based higher secondary school in Tangerang, Banten. This research utilized a teacher's journal, a questionnaire, and an interview guide for eliciting data. The data were analyzed descriptively and the results showed that students’ critical thinking skill improved from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Results from questionnaire showed that students could differentiate fact and opinion as well as analyze information on their screens. A focus-group interview supported students’ improvement on critical thinking skill highlighting that their ability to distinguish valid or fake information improved gradually. Innovative activities that involve teachers, students, and school policy makers with critical thinking skill improvement should be encouraged.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang implementasi Evaluasi Model Kirkpatrick pada Pelatihan Dasar CPNS Calon Hakim MA pada Mata Pelatihan Akuntabilitas, Nasionalisme, Etika Publik, Komitmen Mutu dan Anti Korupsi (ANEKA). Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil seluruh populasi peserta Pelatihan Dasar CPNS Golongan III Calon Hakim MA, yang dilaksanakan di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Jakarta yang berjumlah 119 orang. Evaluasi level 1 (reaksi) dalam penelitian ini dijaring menggunakan angket dan evaluasi level 2 (pembelajaran) pembelajaran peserta diperoleh dengan menggunakan hasil evaluasi akademik yang dilakukan diakhir proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan reaksi kepuasan peserta pelatihan terhadap program pelatihan memuaskan. Demikian pula halnya hasil evaluasi level 2 model Kirkpatrick pada Pembelajaran Mata Pelatihan ANEKA cukup memuaskan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengelolaan pembelajaran pada diklat PKG dan PKB bagi guru Madrasah ‘Aliyah di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Bandung pada Tahun 2018 dan untuk mengetahui kendala serta hambatan yang ditemui selama dilaksanakan proses kediklatan. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif pada penelitian ini untuk mengungkap fakta dan fenomena dilapangan apa adanya.  Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan lembar observasi dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif melalui tiga tahapan analisis, yaitu reduksi data, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini terungkap bahwa proses pembelajaran diklat telah berjalan efektif dengan skor akhir rerata dari semua indikator sebesar 88,53 dengan predikat sangat baik atau terpenuhi dengan sangat baik. Hambatan-hambatan yang ditemukan selama proses pengelolaan diklat terletak pada pengelolaan materi diklat dan pengelolaan organisasi pembelajaran. Solusi nya adalah dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi melalui pengelompokkan peserta diklat dan kolaborasi dalam mengerjakan lembar kerja yang telah disediakan widyaiswara.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research Online Training is one of Online Training (Diklat Jarak Jauh) organized by Jakarta Religion Training Office (BDK Jakarta). The training still has some weaknesses including low graduation rate (63.4%) and academic learning outcomes (68.5%). It needs evaluation to formulate some revision in its instructional system. One of the important component should be evaluated is instructional design. This study explains formative evaluation results of the instructional design. The study was conducted to answer three questions, 1) Is the teaching material in accordance with the participants' wishes? 2). Is teaching material presented using the right strategy so that it is easy to learn? 3). Has the tutor service met the expectations of participants? The results of the study are expected to formulate recommendations for revision. Formative evaluations are conducted within the framework of Dick and Carey's instructional development model focuses on field trials level. The data was collected through surveys using ELL, activity logs, tutor records and recordings of participant’s conversations on social media. Survey results are processed using descriptive statistics and qualitative data processed using content analysis. The research concluded that teaching materials and teaching strategies are low scored. Based on the conclusion, it is recommended to change the structure curriculum to ensure that the teaching materials are more detailed, implement more diverse learning strategies and apply Web 3.0 as a base to determine media in accordance with the learning style of the digital community.

Abstract

Sulitnya siswa mengingat maupun memahami materi tentang bilangan oksidasi (biloks) dan tata nama senyawa ion maupun senyawa kovalen membuat guru berfikir keras bagaimana caranya membuat kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas berlangsung menyenangkan dan berkesan agar materi pembelajaran diingat siswa. Salah satu cara agar kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas menjadi “hidup” adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran. Banyak media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat kegiatan belajar lebih seru dan tidak membosankan. Dalam penelitian ini penulis berinovasi membuat media pembelajaran untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran yang disebut Match Game for Biloks. Media ini diterapkan pada bab redoks materi biloks dan Tata Nama senyawa di pelajaran kimia kelas X semester 2 serta bisa juga untuk merefresh ingatan siswa kelas XII semester 1 sebelum masuk materi Redoks. Game ini terinspirasi dari permainan domino, dimana setiap pemain harus memasangkan kartu yang ia punya dengan kartu sebelumnya. Perbedaan media ini dengan permainan domino, satu kartu bisa dipasangkan dengan banyak kartu yang lain dengan biloks yang sama dan siswa harus menyebutkan terlebih dahulu nama unsur bebas atau molekul senyawa atau molekul ion kartu tersebut sehingga kelebihannya siswa dapat menghitung biloks dan megetahui nama unsur/senyawa kimia. Pembuatan media ini dengan cara menentukan 60 rumus molekul unsur/senyawa/ion beserta namanya dan biloks unsur yang akan ditanyakan diberikan warna beda dalam rumus molekulnya, setelah itu membuat kartu “match game”. Setelah media ini selesai, dilakukan Match games dalam kelompok dan setiap kelompok sudah ada 1 asisten guru (siswa ahli) yang memegang kunci jawaban dari media match games yang dimilikinya untuk mengoreksi jawaban teman-temannya. Games ini menggunakan aturan tertentu dengan membagikan 30 domino ke 5 siswa, sehingga pemenang siswa adalah yang telah habis terlebih dahulu dan mendapatkan skor tertinggi.

Abstract

Learning design must be arranged systematically. In the Learning process, the teacher plays an important role in determining the success or failure of learning achievement. The selection of appropriate learning media is something that teachers need to pay attention to with the application of Audio Visual media to improve students' understanding in following the learning process on the subject of Jurisprudence and pilgrimage material. The formulation of the problem is: How is the application of Audio Visual media in increasing the activeness and learning outcomes of students in the subject of Jurisprudence and Umrah in MTs Negeri 28 Jakarta, in collecting data the author uses tests, observations and student responses. The results of the application of audio-visual media answered from the formulation of the problem where the application of audio-visual media on the learning of the material of hajj and umrah pilgrimage has achieved success. Student learning outcomes in the fiqh learning of Hajj and Umrah material has reached its completeness with an average value of 88.09 with a percentage of 95.6% clearly visible improvement in learning outcomes after using audio-visual media has improved better.
