Abstract

Design simulation lab marker beacon as a means of using a microcontroller which acts as the brain of the components - components and Signal generator that acts as provide input in the form of a sinusoidal signal to the transmitter. When the transmitter sends a signal in the form of information will then be accepted by the receiver and forwarded to the Speaker. So as to produce a design that simulates the principle of a marker beacon equipment. This scheme aims to generate design simulation-based Marker Beacon Mikrokotroller in CASEA Makassar. The method used Design, Simulation, Breadboard, Transmitter, Receiver, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generator, Speaker, Arduino Uno. The result of this design provides a major benefit, namely Facilitate cadets to understand the working principle of Marker Beacon as well as providing an overview of the waves emitted by the marker beacon using osiloscope and increase knowledge ILS Marker Beacon particular.

Abstract

For supporting the fluency of flight safety operations, the facilities supporting of the flight safety needed to get maintenance, monitoring and safeguard, especially on equipment facilities flight aid navigation namely DVOR (Doppler Very High Frequency Omni Directional Range) at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado that does not have adequate safeguards.The purpose of this design was to produce a security system of DVOR shelter in order the monitoring and safeguard DVOR shelter more effective. Method of this Design of security system using a motion sensor also called PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver) sensor which integrated with microcontroller. When the PIR sensor detects human motion, it will give the input to microcontroller for processing. The output of microcontroller will activate the alarm and showing the information on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) display and transmit commands to the module WAVECOM to make calls (speed dial) to any mobile security. After the security closes the call then the notification will appear in the form of SMS to turn off the alarm or keep to switch on the alarm until security arrived at the DVOR shelter location.The design of this security system was expected could help the security in monitoring from a long distance and improve the protection on the area around the DVOR shelter in order to monitor and minimize the action – of criminal acts in the area around DVOR shelter.Keywords: Design, Security System, Shelter, DVOR

Abstract

Minangkabau International Airport has one apron and one hangar. Apron has 7 parking stands with number of parking stand are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6A, and 7. Parking stands 1 and 7 are dedicated to light aircraft. Parking stand 2 is devoted to International flights. The existence of parking 1 and 7 is less than optimal because the type of light aircraft rarely operates. If there is a peak hour the number of aircraft that will be parked in the apron is less able to be served based on the available parking stand so that the aircraft is often held at the alpha taxiway, this affects the passenger's time value and the cost value for the airline. The purpose of this research is to analyze the optimum apron capacity at Minangkabau International Airport, Padang. The research method is done through parking stand analysis on traffic arrangement in movement area through description of parking index analysis, parking duration, and parking accumulation at peak hour compared to available apron capacity and determined slot time. Optimization of aircraft parking (apron) Minangkabau international airport, padang can be done with the reduction of parking booth from 7 to 6 with the dimensions of medium aircraft, and emphasize the airline operators to remain consistent on the slot time set or propose revision of slot time at spare time

Abstract

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is one of the present international airports that serves the domestic and international routes, the number of aircraft movements increasingly crowded. The provision of air traffic services scouting maximum, other than specified by the relevant human resources is also a factor of equipment, procedures, and facilities that support the airport. Isolated layout Parking Area located in the taxiway N7P give effect less effective against the smoothness of air traffic services at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport. Mentioned in Doc 8973 of the Security Manual for Safeguarding Civil Aviation Against Acts of Unlawful Interference, that in case of aircraft hijacking threat, then the aircraft should be directed to isolated parking area. If the area is traversed by a taxiway or runway, then the taxiway and runway should be closed. The purpose of this study was to review the location of the isolated parking area for air traffic service at international airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali.

Abstract

For an ATC, mastery of English is a very important part of their job. Before becoming an ATC, an ATC candidate must take an English proficiency test (ICAO English Language Proficiency Test) and are required to obtain the level determined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the international organization that regulates aviation in the world. The level determined for an ATC is in accordance with Annex 1 on Personnel Licensing which states that the minimum level for the requirements to become an ATC is level 4. In this study, the authors divided into six parts, namely research methods and design, population and samples, research instruments, data collection procedures, and data analysis techniques. The method used in this research is correlation. Correlation between emotional intelligence, learning styles, and academic achievement of English cadets’ level III ATKP Makassar. The purpose of this study was to provide descriptive information about the correlation between emotional intelligence, learning styles on English academic achievement, cadets level III ATKP Makassar. Abstract

Aerodrome plays the role as the node movement of aircraft which needs a various kind of facility and infrastucture’s contributor for the aviation operational’s flowliness based on regulation and provision which is listed on annex 14 telling about aerodrome. Apron is facility in aerodrome that has a lot of function such as for the aircraft parking, loading/unloading the passangger and stuff, and movement intra and antarmoda transportation. Qualified human resources are needed in order to be able to handle the aircraft on the apron so that movement’s activity would be efficient and effective. Civil Aviation Safety and Engginering of Academi (CASEA) Makassar opens Marshalling shortcourse program to produce human resource which is wanted by Ministry fof Transportation. The objective of this design was producing robotic marshaller’s design for guidance of aircraft’s parking as the learning media to easify the student of marshalling shortcourse CASEA Makassar on process to park the aircraft to parking stand until it stops. This design was application of Arduino Mega 2560 to produe narshaller activity’s simulation for aiecraft’s parking guidance in accordance with Annex 2 telling about Rule of the air. The result of this design was to give an understandable perspective for the shortcourse’s student instead of using material which was written down on whiteboard or slide in powerpoint. Besides that, this simulation’s persepetive can be seen from various aircraft’s position, marshaller and the sign on airport simultaneously. So by using this design, CASEA MAKASSAR can improve the quality of the marshalling shortourse’s student.

Abstract

Monitoring indicator led equipment Instrument Landing System (ILS) plays an important role in information services for aviation safety, the situation should always be monitored to anticipate the error on . The purpose of planning to design applications based on visual basic 6.0, to monitor the change of main Tx to Tx standby Instrument Landing System (ILS \) at the airport Tjilik Riiwut Palangkaraya. Design using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and connect using Wi-Fi networks. The results of this planning monitoring progress towards the turn of the main Tx to Tx stand by to be able to overcome the instability of security. Therefore, it is advisable to arrange a more sophisticated monitoring system for equipment ILS (Instrument Landing System).

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine of social support on Self Adjustment at first grade cadet of jalur mandiri of CASEA Makassar. The population of this staudy is the first-grade cadets of self-funding class. Sample amounted to 48 cadets. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling technique. Method of data retrieval using scale of social support and scale of self adjustment with likert scale modification. analysis using simple regression analysis. The results of this study have shown that the variables (X) social support significantly influence the variables (Y) self adjustment in cadet on jalur mandiri CASEA Makassar.This is shown from the results of correlation analysis of 0, 677. The coefficient of determination in this study amounted to 0.458 means social support affect the adjustment of 45.8% while the remaining 54.2% influenced by other factors that do not exist in this study. From result of t test have shown that thitung of Social support is 5,892 which is bigger than the value ttabel 1,682. Thitung > ttabel (5,892>1,682) then H1 accepted. This means that free variables of social support have a positive and significant effect on self adjustment variable

Abstract

Transmission of filght plan from Samarinda Temindung airport to Balikpapan Sepinggan airport has been sometimes failed because of various things such as breaking off the communication way or another supporting facility failure such as VSAT. So if flight plan’s data from Samarinda BO to Balikpapan BO is not sent, then Samarinda BO will resend that filght plan. The objective of this design was to make an application which is able to monitor flight plan at tower of Samarinda Temindung airport and to invent a device which could be used to send notification to the technician if there any trouble on AFTN. The method of this design used microcontroller component, GSM modul, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 application. The aim of this design had shown the simulation of that device would be able to give a description about flight plan transmission monitoring system which transmit and receive into Samarinda Temindung airport.

Abstract

The provision of flight information service by a form of Aerodrome Flight Information Service Information Service and Alerting Service to aircraft should be able to ensure the safety and smooth flow of air traffic in the region. It was also to achieve the purpose of the flight information service it self, namely to prevent collisions between aircraft; aircraft movement areas (manoeuvring area) or beween aircraft with obstacle (obstractions) in the area; and accelerate and maintain the smooth flow of air traffic. Regulation has set some non-public areas in airports that must be kept sterile from activities outside of airport. This is because the area is directrly relate to flight operations. Labuan Bajo Komodo Airport is located near the residential area, so that in conducting flight information service should pay attention to correct condition that will be used airside aircraft. There are some gaps in the fance are used by people as the driveway in order to cross the runway. This is certainly very dangerous because if left unchecked, can occur and trigger a runway incursion accident and incident. Thus, the results of research that has been done on the airport Komodo, repair fences and additional security personnel greatly affect the safety of air traffic. It should also be supported by the community’s understanding of the rules to flight safety
