Abstract

This study aims to analyze planting media composition and the number of segments of the setek on the growth of patchouli. This study used the Group Randomized Design (RAK) method factorially with nine treatments and three replays. One treatment with 5 sample plants. Treatment consists of a) Composition of plant media (M) namely  M0  (topsoil); M1  (topsoil+manure with a ratio of 1:1); M2 (topsoil+ fertilizer drum with a ratio of  1:1), b) Factor number of segments setek (P), namely P1  (3 segments); P2  (4 Segments); and  P3  (5 Segments). The results showed the overall percentage of living seedlings is 100%. The treatment of soil planting media mixed with chicken manure (M2) gives good results only to the growth of patchouli roots. The treatment of five segments of setek (P3) has a good influence on the length of the patchouli root. The interaction between soil media mixed with chicken manure fertilizer (M2) with five segments of setek (P3) gives the best influence on the growth of patchouli root length.

Abstract

Research on Plankton Community in The Waters of Ogan River Kertapati District, Palembang, South Sumatra Province, has been conducted from March to April 2018. This study aimed to identify the plankton community, i.e., abundance, diversity index, dominance index, similarity index between stations, and describe pollution level conditions based on saprobic coefficient. Sampling in this study using purposive random sampling method at five observation stations with three sampling locations, respectively. The physical and chemical parameters of the waters include temperature, brightness, current speed, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), nitrates, and phosphates. The composition of plankton consists of 47 Genera derived from 8 Classes, with a total abundance value in March ranging from 13-27 ind./L, and the total value of abundance in April 2018 has a range of values of 12-21 ind./L. Plankton diversity index values in about 1.87-2.98 indicate the stability of the moderate biota community. Based on the index of plankton dominance with a range of 0.05-0.21, no species dominate other species or D = 0(<0.5). In contrast, the index of plankton similarity between stations shows the communities between stations are relatively different (<50%). The water quality of the Ogan River based on saprobic coefficients is light to very light.

Abstract

Pengembangan obyek wisata direncanakan dan dilakukan sesuai dengan potensi dan kemampuan untuk menyusun rencana dan pengelolaan secara optimal sesuai dengan sumber daya yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis strategi pengembangan pemasaran dan strategi pengembangan objek wisata Taman Nasional Sembilang dalam menarik wisatawan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Oktober 2014 sampai Januari 2015 di Instansi Balai Taman Nasional Sembilang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek yang sudah dalam keadaaan baik menurut bauran pemasaran adalah Customer Service (3,11), sedangkan aspek Produk (2,75), Harga (2,19), Promosi (2,63), Tempat (2,34), People (2,96), Proses (2,49) merupakan aspek-aspek yang masih butuh perbaikan ke depannya. Berdasarkan analisis SWOT didapatkan hasil bahwa saat ini Taman Nasional Sembilang termasuk pada posisi mendukung strategi agresif (kuadran 1).  Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa Taman Nasional Sembilang dalam kondisi prima dan mantap sehingga sangat memungkinkan untuk terus melakukan ekspansi, memperbesar pertumbuhan dan meraih kemajuan secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, strategi yang ditawarkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perpaduan antara kekuatan dan peluang atau strategi Strength-Opportunitis (SO) yang dapat diartikan bahwa Taman Nasional Sembilang dapat memanfaatkan seluruh kekuatan untuk merebut dan memanfaatkan peluang sebesar-besarnya.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze several biological aspects of the squeezed fish in Batutegi Lampung Reservoir. The study used an experimental method of capture used net capture tool with mesh-size 1.5-2.5 inches. Sample fish measured their total length, weighed in weight, and examined their stomachs to determine what type of food they had. We researched in February, August, and November 2017. The example of keperas fish caught amounted to 415 individuals. Analysis of long-weight relationships showed that February and August were allometrically negative, while November allometric was positive. The condition factor is worth one at each station and month.  The eating habits of squeezed fish are plants 50%, fish 15%, insects 10%, worms 9%, phytoplankton 8%, and zooplankton 8%. The growth pattern of fish squeeze in November is isometric and allometric positive due to the development of gonads. The food habits of fish keperas are omnivorous, with the composition according to food availability in the environment.

Abstract

Research about carp (Cyprinus carpio) reproductive biology in Batu Bulan Reservoir was conducted in April, May, July, and October 2016. This study aims to determine some biological aspects include the degree of gonad maturity, fecundity, spawning frequency and season, and length of the first gonad maturity. The results showed the sex ratio between male and female fish in April (1:5), May (1:3), July (1:3), and October (1:3), with an average of 1:3.5 with the Chi-Square test on the confidence interval. 95%, it turns out that the sex ratio does not follow the 1:1 pattern, or the sex ratio of the fish is not balanced. TKG II carp occurred every month of observation, while the ripe fish of TKG IV gonads were founded only in April, July, and October. The highest percentage of female fish ripe for TKG IV gonads was 45.32%, and males 67.40% were found in October. The size of the ripening female carp size in Batu Bulan Reservoir is 20.16 cm. Carp fecundity ranges from 1,439 to 40,281.

Abstract

Ikan Sebarau (Hampala macrolepidota Kuhl & Van Hasselt, 1823) di perairan Danau Ranau merupakan bagian dari kekayaan sumber daya hayati, populasinya perlu dipertahankan agar lestari. Laju eksploitasi Ikan Sebarau disebabkan oleh banyaknya permintaan pasar dan tingkat konsumsi yang tinggi, memicu penangkapan secara terus-menerus oleh para nelayan. Produksi hasil tangkapan mencapai 57,40 ton/ tahun. Data dan informasi mengenai stok Ikan Sebarau di danau ini belum banyak diketahui. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stok Ikan Sebarau di Danau Ranau sebagai bahan kebijakan untuk pengelolaan perikanan di perairan danau. Riset dilakukan pada Februari, September, Oktober dan November 2017, berlokasi di Danau Ranau, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Lampung. Ikan contoh diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan nelayan dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis alat tangkap yaitu jala dan jaring insang dengan berbagai ukuran yang biasa digunakan oleh nelayan setempat. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi panjang dan berat total. Hasil analisis hubungan panjang-berat diperoleh persamaan W = 0,0052L3,24 menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan Ikan Sebarau adalah allometrik positif. Laju mortalitas total (Z) 0,55, mortalitas alami (M) 0,46, laju kematian akibat penangkapan (F) 0,09 dan laju eksploitasi (E) 0,16 per tahun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development, utilization, supervision, and control of the green open space program in Ilir Barat I Sub-District, Palembang. This study was conducted in, Ilir Barat I Sub-District, Palembang city.October 2019 to December 2019. On this research used descriptive qualitative methods and analysis of vegetation (Anveg) by using and purposive sampling. Based on the analysis,The Sub-District of Ilir Barat I has a Green Open Space (RTH) covering an area of 101,389 m2 with a percentage of 0.51%. The area of it does not meet the minimum area of green space based on Law No. 26 of 2007 in article 29 paragraph (2) of 30% and has met the requirements of article 29 paragraph (3) of 20%. With the distribution of green open space is the Puncak Sekuning TPU with an area of 40,000 m² with a percentage of 0.20%.The green space location with the smallest area in the stadium of Bumi Sriwijaya has a green space of 1,627 m² with a percentage of 0.01%. The area of green space in the District of Ilir Barat I Palembang based on the results of the study was 101,389 m², while the area of it based on Palembang PRKP data in the Sub-District of Ilir Barat I of Palembang City was 96,166 m². Researcher measurement data has a difference of 5,223 m² with data from the Palembang City PRKP Service. Angsana tree (Pterocarpus indicus), The highest number of tree in green line (road side) is Trembesi (Albizia saman) while in median road is Tanjung (Mimusops elengi).

Abstract

Ikan Nilem (Osteochillus vittatus) di lain daerah dikenal dengan nama Ikan Palau merupakan ikan dari famili Cyprinidae yang tersebar di perairan Sumatera, Jawa dan Kalimantan. Ikan ini merupakan salah satu komoditi budidaya air tawar terutama dari Pulau Jawa. Umumnya ikan ini merupakan produk sampingan dari budidaya ikan mas, mujair, nila dan gurami. Penelitian Ikan Palau banyak dilakukan dalam bidang budidaya, sedangkan penelitian Ikan Nilem di alam masih kurang. Pengkajian tentang parameter pertumbuhan Ikan Palau di hulu Sungai Musi belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi pertumbuhan dan laju eksploitasi penangkapan Ikan Palau. Riset dilakukan pada Maret - September 2018, berlokasi di hulu Sungai Musi, Provinsi Bengkulu. Ikan contoh diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan nelayan dengan menggunakan berbagai jenis alat tangkap yang digunakan oleh nelayan setempat. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi panjang total. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa laju mortalitas total (Z) 0,49, mortalitas alami (M) 0,45, laju kematian akibat penangkapan (F) 0,04 dan laju eksploitasi (E) 0,08 per tahun.

Abstract

Masalah dari Penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Struktur biaya dan Berapa Besarnya Nilai Tambah Bambu Menjadi Anyaman Bambu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur biaya dan mengetahui besarnya nilai tambah di Sanggar Kreatif Bunga Matahari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Studi Kasus dengan Alat Analisis yakni menggunakan Metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin besar kapasitas produksi pada usaha tersebut menghasilkan biaya rata-rata per output yang lebih rendah dan nilai R/C yang lebih tinggi. Analisis nilai tambah menunjukkan NT > 0 maka artinya usaha Kerajinan Ayaman Bambu memberikan nilai tambah.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of the combination of planting media on the growth of Mucuna bracteata by applying vermicompost. The research had been carried out in the practical garden of the Polytechnic of Lembaga Pendidikan Perkebunan, Wedomartani, Yogyakarta for 2 months from September to October 2019. The research method used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with five treatments. The treatment carried out was a combination of planting media, between soil and vermicompost, namely P0 (100% soil), P1 (80% soil and 20% vermicompost), P2 (60% soil and 40% vermicompost), P3 (40% soil and 60% vermicompost) and P4 (20% soil and 80% vermicompost). The parameters observed in the study were plant height, number of leaves, and stem diameter. The results showed that the growth of Mucuna bracteate seedlings was influenced by the application of vermicompost. The highest plant height and stem diameter in Mucuna bracteate seedlings were obtained in P3 treatment (40% soil and 60% vermicompost), while the highest number of leaves was obtained from P4 treatment (20% soil and 80% vermicompost). Vermicompost can increase soil support for the growth of Mucuna bracteate seedlings so the growth of Mucuna bracteate increases.
