Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify how to important it is to implement meeting and presentation management in improving quality and effectiveness in business organization. In the business world, there two important things in a running a business. First, a meeting or a meeting where is more of an activity that becomes a means for exchanging data and information, a place to dialogue ideas and concepts, and a place for the exchange of ideas through productive discussions. Any business organization will need fresh and creative new ideas and important information exchange. Second, in every meeting or meeting requires the delivery of information or a good presentation in general, the presentation is done to persuade, inform, motivate or inspire other. Presentations and meetings is an important thing that must be prepared if you are in the business world. The success or failure of a business is influenced by the way we prepare meetings and presentations. So, don’t ever underestimate the issue of this meetings and presentations because this is where all members of business organization in the discussion voice their opinion and ideas. Therefore, it is important for the author to convey two things that are very meaningful in the business world to be developed in you.

Abstract

Intercultural communication develops based on two interconnected premises. First, you live in a time when changing technology, travel, economic and political systems, immigration patterns, and population density have resulted in a world in which you regularly interact with people from different cultures. Second, nowadays, people are very sensitive to the fact that the influence of culture on communication is very close and great. Your cultural background and experience help you determine how the world should be for you and how you will interact with it. Anthropological perspective in intercultural communication is looking at intercultural communication from an anthropological point of view, because the communication already contains cultural values. Intercultural communication is part of the marriage between the disciplines of anthropology and communication which later became a separate discipline both in communication science and in anthropology. Anthropology is one of the fields of science that is the root or foundation of the birth of communication science. In subsequent developments, cultural experts realized the importance of communication in the cultural field.

Abstract

Team building is a group of individuals who have a common goal to be achieved. And to achieve this goal, good cooperation is needed, sharing feelings, mutual respect and mutual encouragement among group members. Several things that affect the formation of groups, among others, are the existence of communication, motivation, being able to manage conflict, competition and cooperation. Cooperation is a means and a sign related to the quality of the group as a gathering place for people in an organization. In building group cooperation, mutual trust, openness or transparency, self-realization or self-realization and interdependence are needed.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication can be defined as the ability to connect between humans as a form of verbal communication. Interpersonal communication can also be used to help build relationships with other people in different situations. Attitudes such as eye contact, body movements and hand gestures are also part of interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication involves eye-to-eye communication in an appropriate and purposeful manner. The language used in the interpersonal communication process can describe communication patterns, management, personality and actions. Therefore, expertise in the use of language and interpersonal communication can help a person to better understand social situations and act and solve problems in accordance with existing environmental conditions.

Abstract

In a business, communication is one of the important factors in the success of business achievement. The purpose of this study was to find out how to analyze communication well. This research method uses qualitative research methods, namely research that emphasizes understanding the problem through disclosure of facts obtained through interview and observation data. The result of this research is an understanding of how to communicate well. The conclusion obtained through this analysis is the process of exchanging messages or information to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of work products in organizational structures and systems. In business communication activities, messages should not only be informative, but must also be persuasive, so that other parties are willing to accept an understanding or belief or perform an act or activity.

Abstract

Interpersonal skill (interpersonal ability) is the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to one's feelings, attitudes and behavior, motivations and desires. This ability is very necessary because in everyday life it is almost impossible for humans not to relate to other people. In the scheme of living together arises the need to understand the needs of other human beings. Good and effective interpersonal communication skills are needed by humans so that they can carry out all their activities smoothly. Especially when someone performs activities in formal situations, for example in a work environment. More importantly, when a person's work activities are face-to-face with other people, most of the activities are interpersonal communication activities

Abstract

The development strategy determines the communication strategy, so the meaning of development communication also depends on the capital or development paradigm chosen. Development is a process whose emphasis is on harmony between aspects of outward progress and inner satisfaction. When viewed in terms of communication science which also studies the problem of the process, namely the process of delivering one's message to others to change attitudes, opinions and behavior. So development basically involves at least three components, namely development communicators (either government officials or the community), development messages containing development ideas or programs and development communicators, namely the wider community of development targets. The development of Indonesian society is pragmatic, namely a pattern that generates innovation for the present and the future. The communication function is at the forefront of changing attitudes and behavior of Indonesian people as the main actors of development, both as subjects and as objects of development.

Abstract

Information is one of the key sources of organizational value. As information carriers, documents, in some form, store the majority of business information. With the widespread introduction of social software in companies, much information is now created in social applications; leading social content to become one of the fastest growing content types. As with other content types, social content must be managed in order to realize its value and to minimize information risks. However, there is a lack of understanding about what social documents really are, what distinguishes them, and how they should be differentiated from other social content. Therefore this study examines social business documents by differentiating between social content and social documents and analyzes the characteristics of social documents. From this a working definition of social business documents is developed and challenges for their management are outlined.

Abstract

Communication is a very important thing in life, if we are not careful in communicating, it cannot be denied that it will be trigger misunderstandings. Communication in everyday life both in economic and social activities, not only by using verbal words, but also using non-verbal words. Without communication, there will be no interaction between humans. The interaction as a result of this communication is related to the attitude or behavior of each individual which must also be adjusted and/or to adapt to the various cultures of each. This culture will shape, strengthen and change attitudes and behavior both individually and socially in the cultural environment concerned. For that we must communicate well in order to create a good life between us. And also in communicating not only to convey messages, but to change behavior. Do not let what we convey, not in harmony with the behavior of the speaker. So that makes the communicant distrust and no longer want to communicate with us. So the existence of the communication management makes the implementation of the communication run effectivel, so that the messages or result expected from the delivery of the information is as expected. Management and communication presents an effective management and delivery scheme of information messages, so as to create harmony in the communication carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to examine, disclose and obtain empirical evidence about the implementation of the principal's leadership style on improving teacher performance to improve the quality and learning outcomes. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, field observations and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance to improve the quality of learning with a democratic leadership style based on theological values. In improving teacher performance and the quality of learning, principals have program strategies including (a) teacher performance coaching strategies, (b) education staff discipline development, (c) teacher performance control and supervision, (d) motivation, (e) awarding and (f) Build teacher commitment.
