For optical lens manufacturing the development of product and service quality is a key thing in answering challenges in the business competition it is developing. To achieve this determine the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the Rejected Rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) to measure the extent of the performance that has been achieved and how to develop it, shape the work culture of Kaizen which commits to continuous improvement and value chain analysis largely determine the process of developing production and service quality. The Kaizen culture and value chain applied in achieving the KPI target in this study succeeded in reducing the KPI Rejected Rate by 0. 46% and raise OTD by 2. 22%. The method used in this study uses a review of literature studies, observations, and direct interviews of the plant manager of one of the largest optical lenses manufacturers in Indonesia using data comparisons in 2018 and 2020

Abstract

The prevalence of corporate transgressions in Indonesia have brought the moral standards of business leaders into public domain. In light of these phenomena, an investigation into whether prospective business leaders of the country are predisposed to moral values is crucial. The purpose of this research was to ascertain the attitudes of the Indonesian future business leaders towards the existence of codes of ethics in business. In particular, the research examined whether the religious orientation of these future leaders influenced the attitudes. A test was also assigned to scrutinize whether the degree of their social cynicism moderated that possible causal relationship. A survey was used as the primary method to collect the data. The sample involved first-year students from a business school at a private university in Indonesia. A total of 111 students involved in the survey. A majority of the students Results of the research showed majority of the respondents were generally supportive shown to have positive attitudes towards codes of ethics. The intrinsic religious orientation of the students also had a positive impact on the attitudes. This positive relationship, however, was mitigated by their negative views of people and social institutions. Managerial implications of the research findings are discussed and the directions of future similar research are outlined.

Abstract

Abstrak Kinerja guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya yaitu pendidikan, pelatihan dan komunikasi organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan serta komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri 1 Tahunan Jepara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian explanatory. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMP Negeri 1 Tahunan Jepara yang berjumlah 33 guru. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah metode sensus yaitu mengambil seluruh anggota populasi sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan pelatihan dan komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Pelatihan, Komunikasi Organisasi, Kinerja.  AbstractTeacher performance can be influenced by various factors, including education, training and organizational communication. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of education and training and organizational communication on the performance of teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Tahunan Jepara. The type of this research is explanatory research. The population of this study is all teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Tahunan Jepara, amounting to 33 teachers. The sampling technique used is the census method that takes all members of the population as a sample of research. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. Abstract

AbstrakPajak Hotel adalah pajak pendapatan yang sangat penting di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Ini untuk sumber pendapatan wilayah atau pendapatan asli Hotel. Pajak diharapkan menjadi sumber pendapatan utama sumber menjadi karena kondisi dan potensi wilayah (lay out) di KabupatenGunungkidul adalah mendukung dan potensial. Sebenarnya, Pajak Hotel di Kabupaten Gunungkidul sangat rendah. Ini mengindikasikan dari nilai dan pertumbuhan dari tahun ke tahun (2005 - 2009) menurun dan nilai pertumbuhan negatif. Selain itu, berbeda antara realisasi pendapatan pajak dengan anggaran pajak hotel Ini menunjukkan bahwa potensi pajak hotel belum merupakan sumber penerimaan daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar potensi pajak hotel di Kabupaten Gunungkidul dan seberapa jauh pemerintah berhati-hati untuk meningkatkan potensi pajak hotel dan beberapa aspek untuk meningkatkan itu. Untuk menunjukkan bahwa metode pajak hotel digunakan potensial yang meliputi tarif pajak dari pajak hotel, rata-rata kamar, jumlah hari dan jumlah kamar di hotel.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi pendapatan dan nilai pajak hotel adalah atas pajak hotel realisasi nilai pendapatan. Mengukur dari perbandingan ini dapat mengamati dari pajak efektivitas hotel yang nilai selalu menurun dari tahun ke tahun (2005 - 2009) bahkan nilainya tidak lebih dari 5% setiap tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pajak hotel di Kabupaten Gunungkidul masih jauh dari kualitas yang baik. Baik sistem manajemen dan beberapatindakan sebagai dukungan pemerintah untuk peningkatan pajak hotel.  Kata kunci : Pajak Hotel, Pajak Pendapatan Hotel Potensi, Pajak Pajak Hotel, Efektivitas Hotel,Kabupaten Gunungkidul. AbstractHotel tax is the one's tax of revenue that very important in Gunungkidul regency. It's for territoryrevenue source or Native revenue Hotel. Tax hopes become priority source revenue because condition and territory potential (lay out) in Gunungkidul regency is support or potential.But in the fact, Hotel Tax in Gunungkidul regency is very low. It's indicate from value and growth from year to year (2005 – 2009) is decreasing and negative growth value. Beside that, different (infact ) between realization hotel tax of revenue with hotel tax of reveneu it happen. It's indicate that potential hotel tax is not territory source revenue yet . The purpose from this research is for knows how big hotel tax potential in Gunungkidul regency and how far the government take care for increase hotel tax potential and some of the aspect for the increase that. To show that hotel tax potential used method which include tax rate of hotel tax, average rate of rooms, amount of day and amount of rooms in the hotel. The result of research indicate that potential revenue and value of hotel tax is above of realization hotel tax of revenue value. Measuring of this comparison can be observe from effectiveness hotel tax that the value always decrease from year to year (2005 – 2009 ) even the value not more than 5% every year. Result of research indicate that hotel tax in Gunungkidul regency still far from the good quality. AbstrakTujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah pemodelan wakaf terintegrasi sebagai upaya penguatan wakaf melalui pengintegrasian potensi wakaf, perguruan tinggi, dan audit sector publik di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah studi literature yang diawali dari permasalahan besarnya potensi wakaf  di Indonesia yang belum dikelola secara optimal. Abstract

Abstrak Perguruan tinggi memegang peranan penting dalam mendidik dan memotivasi para mahasiswa untuk menjadi wirausahawan. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh pendidikan berwirausaha dan motivasi berwirausaha terhadap pembentukan jiwa entreprenship di kalangan mahasiswa.Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa peserta program pendidikan/pelatihan entrepreneurship yang diselenggarakan oleh BPD HIPMI Jawa Tengah dan peserta Program Pengembangan Softskill  Universitas Dian Nuswantoro Semarang sejumlah 228 orang. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 74 orang diperoleh dengan menggunakan Rumus Slovin. Metode pengambilan sampel  menggunakan quota random sampling. Metode analisis menggunaan analisis regesi linier berganda dengan alat bantu SPSS v. 16. Analisis data meliputi uji kualitas data (uji reliabilitas, uji validitas), uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas, uji multikolonearitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas), uji kebaikan model (Uji F, koefisien determinasi), dan uji hipotesis (uji t).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan berwirausaha dan motivasi berwirausaha mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembentukan jiwa entrepreneurship. Kata kunci :     Pembelajaran  berwirausaha, motivasi berwirausaha,  jiwa  entrepreneurship Abstract Higher education  plays an important role in educating and motivating the students to become entrepreneurs. This study aimed to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and achievement motivation on the formation of the soul entreprenship among students. The population were  students participating in educational programs / training entrepreneurship organized by BPD HIPMI Central Java and Development Program participants Softskill Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang,  consist of  228 people. The research sample number 74 was obtained by using the Slovin formula. Quota sampling method using Random sampling. The method of analysis uses multiple linear regession analysis tools SPSS v. 16. Analysis of the data include data quality test (reliability, validity), classical assumption test (normality, multikolonearitas, and heteroscedasticity),  goodness fit model (F-test, the coefficient of determination),the hypothesis test (t test).The results showed that entrepreneurship learning and entrepreneurship motivation has a positive and significant influence on the formation of entrepreneurial spirit. Keywords : entrepreneurship education, achievement motivation, spirit of entrepreneurship

Abstract

The objective of this study is empirically identify the impacts of Good Corporate Governance and capital structure on firm value with financial performance as intervening variable. We operate quantitative approach within the scope of manufacturing company of metal, chemical, and plastic packaging sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2017-2018 periods as the population. Samples are chosen by purposive sampling method inwhich the company must report the financial statement in a row, obtained 79 observations. The data analysis technique used is financial ratio analysis to determine the condition of the business financial ratios of the variables studied. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that corporate governance and capital structure influence the firm value, moreover the use of institutional ownership ratio and capital structure will increase the value of the firm. The result also shows that the impact of Corporate governance and capital structure on the company value are mediated by financial performance. It means that the value of the firm can increase if the company able became an effective monitoring tool.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influencing factors of tax compliance of boarding house owner.   This research uses one dependent variable which is Tax Compliance and seven independent variables which consist of income, environment, tax sanctions, tax services & appeals, tax awareness, perception on transparency of tax usage & allocation, and perception & accountability of efficiency of tax payment system. The primary data collected with questionnaire towards 82 respondents who’s elected by a random sampling. Data was analyzed with a multiple linear regression by SPSS version 22. The result showed that: (1) The variables of Income, tax services & appeals, perception on transparency of tax usage & allocation, and perception & accountability of efficiency of tax payment system are significantly influence the tax compliance  of taxpayer in Semarang, (2) Variables of environment, Tax sanctions and Tax awareness are insignificantly influence the tax payment of taxpayer in Semarang. Semarang government is expected to be able to increase boarding house tax in order to increase its locally-generated revenue

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh motivasi ekstrinsik, daya serap, kekayaan saluran dan tingkat penggunaan TI pada sikap individu terhadap perilaku berbagi pengetahuan.Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa informatika Negeri Semarang rekayasa University dan Universitas Diponegoro. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dengan mengambil responden yang akan digunakan sebagai sampel dari 135 mahasiswa. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi ekstrinsik tidak memiliki pengaruh pada sikap individu terhadap perilaku berbagi pengetahuan. Sedangkan daya serap variabel, kekayaan saluran, dan tingkat penggunaan TI memiliki pengaruh positif pada sikap individu terhadap perilaku berbagi pengetahuan.Kata kunci : motivasi ekstrinsik, daya serap, kekayaan saluran, tingkat penggunaan itu, berbagi pengetahuanAbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of extrinsic motivation, absorptive capacity, channel richness and level of IT usage on individual attitudes towards knowledge sharing behavior. Respondents in this study were students of informatics engineering Semarang State University and the University of Diponegoro. Methods of data collection in this study using survey methods. Samples were taken by purposive sampling by taking the respondent to be used as a sample of 135 students. Analysis tools used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that variables extrinsic motivation does not have an influence on individual attitudes on knowledge sharing behavior. While the variable absorptive capacity, channel richness, and the level of IT usage has a positive influence on individual attitudes on knowledge sharing behavior. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemilihan lokasi terhadap kesuksesan usaha pada usaha berskala mikro/ kecil di komplek Shopping Centre Jepara. Obyek penelitian adalah seluruh pemilik usaha mikro/kecil yang berada di komplek SCJ Jepara sejumlah 87 responden.  Data diperoleh dengan metode sensus, hasilnya diolah dengan metode analisis model regresi berganda. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa faktor-faktor yang diteliti dalam penentuan lokasi usaha (dekat dengan infrastruktur, kondisi lingkungan serta biaya lokasi) mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kesuksesan usaha. Pemilihan lokasi guna mencapai kesuksesan usaha bisa dijelaskan dengan variasi ketiga variabel independen penelitian yaitu dekat dengan infrastruktur, kondisi lingkungan dan biaya lokasi. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai adjusted R2 sebesar 68%. Ketiga variabel independen yang mempunyai pengaruh terbesar terhadap kesuksesan usaha yaitu variabel biaya lokasi sebesar 46%. Sedangkan dua variabel lainnya yaitu kondisi lingkungan dan kedekatan dengan infrastruktur masing-masing berpengaruh sebesar 25% dan 24%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, disarankan bahwa dalam pemilihan lokasi usaha, sebaiknya pemilik usaha lebih memperhitungkan biaya yang dikeluarkan. Kata kunci :  Infrastruktur, Lingkungan, Biaya Lokasi, Kesuksesan Usaha AbstractThis study aimed to examine the effect of the choice of location for the success of the business on a micro-scale enterprises / small Shopping Centre complex Jepara. The object of the research is all micro business owners / small complex at the SCJ Jepara which  totally  87 respondents. Data obtained by the census method, the results are processed by  multiple regression analysis. This study proves that the factors examined in determining business location (close to the infrastructure, environmental conditions as well as cost locations) have  positive and significant effect on business success. The choice of location in order to achieve business success can be explained by the variation of the three independent variables of research that is close to the infrastructure, environmental conditions and location costs. This is evidenced by adjusted R2 value of 68%. These three independent variables that have the greatest influence on the success of the business is the variable costs of 46% locations. Meanwhile, two other variables, namely environmental conditions and proximity to infrastructure influential respectively by 25% and 24%. From these results, it is suggested that in selecting a business location, business owners should better take into account the costs incurred. Abstract

Abstract This research is an events study that aims to find empirical evidence of the Indonesian capital market investors' reaction to the event announcement Economic Policy Package Phase I Jokowi - JK. The study population was consistent stocks listed in LQ 45 index over the study period. The data used are secondary data from daily stock price five days before and five days after the event. The statistical test used to test the hypothesis is independent sample t-test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank test.The result of the calculation of Independent Sample t-test showed that there are significant positive abnormal returns around the date of the event, which means that investors respond to the event announcement Economic Policy Package Phase I Jokowi - JK as good news. Results Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test proved that there is a significant positive difference in the average abnormal return between the prior and current events, and there is a significant negative difference in the average abnormal return between current events and after an event. Keywords: Capital Markets, Event Study, Abnormal Return, Investor reaction. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan studi peristiwa yang bertujuan untuk menemukan bukti empiris reaksi investor pasar modal Indonesia terhadap peristiwa pengumuman Paket Kebijakan Ekonomi Tahap I Jokowi – JK. Populasi penelitian ini adalah saham-saham yang konsisten terdaftar dalam indeks LQ 45 selama periode penelitian. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa harga saham harian lima hari sebelum dan lima hari setelah peristiwa. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah Independent Sample t-test dan Uji beda Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.Hasil perhitungan Independent Sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat abnormal return positif signifikan di sekitar tanggal peristiwa, yang berarti investor merespon peristiwa pengumuman Paket Kebijakan Ekonomi Tahap I Jokowi – JK ini sebagai kabar baik. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan positif signifikan rata-rata abnormal return antara sebelum dan saat peristiwa, dan terdapat perbedaan negatif signifikan rata-rata abnormal return antara saat dan setelah peristiwa. Kata Kunci : Pasar Modal, Studi Peristiwa, Abnormal Return, Reaksi Investor.
