Abstract

Allah SWT creation, including universe,human, and environment, indicated human’s duty as the God’s Caliph to manage it for theirprosperity. Therefore, human was expected to preserve nature and environment despite the socialdynamics or changes possibly leading to the natural destruction. However, as the God’s Caliph,human’s effort was still considered far from the expectation; even, human initiated the destructionthemselves. Abstract

PENGUATAN SELF ESTEEM ANAKJALANAN MELALUI BIMBINGANMORAL SPIRITUAL(Pada Program Pendidikan LuarSekolah)Nur Afifah Khurin Maknin *)FAI UMMABSTRACTThe burden of street children is much heavy for their age, that they are prone topsychological stress which will affect the children’s emotional, social andintelligence growth, in the sense that the growth will not be maximal. In such acase, the NGO’s main programme to educate and train the children to beindependent by increasing their quality, improving their lives and by enablingthem to interact socially in their as well as in society will not be reached. In orderthat the programme planned by the NGO can be effective and efficient, thechildren should be physically and mentally healthy. To meet this condition, thechildren must be trained to raise their “self-esteem” so that they are mentallyhealthy. When they are mentally healthy, their physical and mental developmentwill hopefully grow optimally, so that they more ready and more able to solvetheir problem constructively. This research will answer the question of whethermoral and spiritual counselling will raise the street children’s self-esteem and willchange their quality of life with attitude especially those who have been educatedand trained by the NGOs.Spiritual and Moral Counselling is one which focuses on theunderstanding and application of moral and ethical values in society; it alsostresses on increasing the children’s self religius motivation so that they will bemotivated to increase their quality and able to be on their own normally. Thiscounselling will hopefully cause the children have high self-esteem and mentalhealth which can be seen from their change of attitude.Keyword:Moral and Spiritual Counselling,Self-Esteem, Quality of life, StreetChildren.

Zuhud implementation wasconsiderably found in traditional Islamic boarding schools. Meanwhile, zuhud implementation wasnot found in Islamic modern boarding schools due to modern culture and life style. Issues to be discussed in this paper is Doesthe message have been designed to effectively and efficiently making it easier for learnersto understand and also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the design of themessage. This analysis is based on the ability of humans to the realm of cognitive,affective and psychomotor. Therefore, educators should be able to provide learningconditions so that learners can achieve certain abilities learned. Social conflicts remained an unresolved problem for both Indonesia and Malaysia. Thetwo countries faced cases of violence, graft, juvenile delinquency, ethical and moral violation inalmost all parts of the country. In addition, the number of the cases was continuously increasingevery day. In response to the facts, the role of Islamic Education in shaping morality, ethics, andpersonality was certainly questionable. The problem that occurs in the internalization ofvalues AIK includes learning methods used and the emphasis AIK on purely scientificaspect or Islam as a scientific discipline. Abstract

Puji syukur kami panjatkan kehadirat ALLAH SWT atas nikmatwaktu dan kesehatan sehingga kami dapat menyelesaikan Progresiva;Jurnal Pemikiran dan Pendidikan Islam Vol 3 no 1 Januari 2010 ini.Dalam edisi kali ini, Progresiva mengangkat tema pendidikan baikumum kaupun Khusus tema pendidikan Islam. Sebagaimana penelaahankurikulum Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Malang oleh Saiful Amienyang mana dimungkinkan untuk dijadikan contoh kurikulum denganmenonjolkan muatan lokalnya.Abdul Haris, mengangkat isu Islamisasi Ilmu, dengan artikel yangberjudul “ Islamisasi Ilmu Pengetahuan ; upaya Dehegemoni IlmuPengetahuan Barat”. Isu ini memang mulai menggelinding pada tahun 80-an, bahkan pada tahun 70-an Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas sudah pulamenggagas hal ini. Jika pada pada awal lahirnya gagasan islamisasi ilmupengetahuan fokus pembicaraan lebih diarahkan untuk melakukan“dehegemoni” ilmu pengetahuan Barat. dan mencari alternatifpengembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang berbasis Islam, maka fokuspembicaraan islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan yang marak di Indonesia barubaruini lebih banyak diarahkan untuk menemukan format yang tepat bagipengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di UIN sehingga UIN memiliki cirikhusus yang berbeda dengan universitas lain yag dikenal sebagaiuniversitas umum.Soleh Subagja, dalam artikelnya Paradigma Nilai-NilaiKepemimpinan Profetik; Spirit Implementasi Model Kepemimpinan diLembaga Pendidikan Islam. Mencoba memaparkan temuannya mengenaiperanan besar kepemimpinan pribadi yang seringkali menjadi pemicuutama berhasil atau tidaknya proses kepemimpinan pada suatu kelompok,organisasi, lembaga dan ruang lingkup masyarakat yang lebih luas.Sebagaimana dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam peranan individu pemimpindapat menjadi ujung tombak penentu keberhasilan lembaga yangdipimpinnya.
