Abstract

This study is based on students’ problem who undergone the decreasing of self-esteem due to bullying that students receive in their environment. The long-term goal which going to be achieved is related to self esteem problem of students bullying victims that is capable to solve problem by using effective and tested product through counseling with assertive training technique. This study used research and development method. The steps are: (1) preliminary research; (2) designing model; (3) developing model; (4) testing model restrictively; (5) analysing model; (6) revising model; (7) testing model widely; (8) dissemination of model; and (9) recommending tested model. The result of study showed that the model of counseling through assertive training was empirically proven effective to improve self esteem of students bullying victims.Keywords: Self Esteem, Bullying, Assertive Training

Abstract

One of evaluation model counseling programs is accountability bridge model. In this model, counseling evaluation cycle is devided into two cycles. The first cycle is counseling program evaluation and the second is counseling context evaluation cycle. Counseling program evaluation cycle focus on the result of counseling service, while counseling context evaluation cycle focus on the trial of counseling service impact by stake holder and uses its feedback, the result of need assessment for fostering and repairing the goal of counseling program. Both cycle are connected by accountability bridge, which the result of counseling practice is communicated to stakeholder in context of the bigger service system.Keywords: Accountability Bridge Model, Program Evaluation, Context Evaluation

Abstract

This Study is based on the student’s problem who is failure to achieve his happiness in life, it is caused by his adaptation incapableity. This study aimed to know the student’s adaptation level at the first grade SMP N 2 Pringsewu in academic years 2013/2014, and formulated an effective developmental model of game technigue on group counseling service to improve student’s adaptation in that school. This study used qualitative design. The method that used is research and development. The steps are : (1) Preliminary reseach; (2) Planning; (3) Devoloping hyphothetic model; (4) Analyzing hypothetic model; (5) Revising; (6) Limitating trial; (7) Revising tial result; (8) Extending trial; (9) Revising final model; (10) Dessiminati and socialization. The result showed that group counseling using game technique empirically proven that is efective to improve student’s adaptation.Keywords: Group Counseling; Game Technique; Self Adjusment.

Abstract

Everyone has a different reaction in facing the extraordinary events that are triggered by the teribble events. They clash psychic cause post traumatic stress disorder or in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). To solve it can be done through treatment with pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. In psychotherapy handling, one of the techniques that can be used is the technique of guided imagery as one of the PTSD treatment efforts. This technique is an effort that can be used to deal with a difficult client to communicate verbally. Communication is the basis of the counseling relationship. Implementation of counseling through guided imagery techniques are considered able to help clients resolve client’s problems. In this technique, clients are guided to be able to focus on positive thoughts and imaginations that lead to negative events experienced to be able to create a positive picture of the imagination.Keywords: Guided imagery, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Creative counseling

Abstract

The Quality of higher education is determined by the quality of student input. The student of higher education as a raw input has a strategic value because of its position as the subject that developed in the educational process. To get the qualified student, it is needed a valid test instrument for the student and able to measure something that should be measured. Abstract

This study aimed to lead stdents in order to they are able to plan career by comprehending their interest and potential toward a task at the first grade of senior high school Yasmida Ambarawa. This study employed quassi-experimental method with the non-equivalent control group. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the simple. This study used non-parametric statistic analysis with level test (uji jenjang) signed ranks test and smirnov-kolmogorof method for dable sample group. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that career planning which applied earlier will develop responsibility attitude for students so they are able to develop their abaility as maximum as possible, and not to do deviation toward development duty. The use of modeling technique was effective to improve students career planning at the first grade of senior high school Yasmida Ambarawa.Keywords: Group Counseling, Modeling Techniques, Career Planning

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem of low assertive behavior skill. Assertive is a behavior in which person are able to act upon desire. Held the right and not utilized by others. Besides that , going to be assertive means communicating what is expected clearly by respecting personality right and other right. The purpose of the study is to gain the description of effectiveness assertive training technique for improving students’ assertive behavior. This study used quasi-experimental method with non equivalent control group design. The population was students of senior high school Kartika Siliwangi 2 Bandung in academic years 2012/2013. Purposive sampling technique was employed for taking the sample. The result of the study showed that (1) 40,7% students’ assertive behavior profile was in the assertive category and 59,3% was not; (2) assertive training technique was effective to improve students’ assertive behavior; (3) there was no the difference of assertive behavior between male and female students.Keywords: assertive training, assertive behavior.

Abstract

AbstractProsocial behavior is a concern which is described by the willingness to help others, empathy and generosity. To develop this attitude, it needsguidance and counseling service with a strong social values and culture. This study aims to know the effectiveness of group guidance based on Lampung cultural values to increase the prosocial behavior. These samples included 15 that randomized from 76 students. The research method that writer used is the pre-experimental designs. Based on the data analysis of prosocial behavior scores before of the students following group guidance based on Lampung value cultural services in 1929, then after following the service the scores increased to 2631. So this means that Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be included that the group guidance model based on Lampung cultural values is effective to improve the student prosocial behavior.  Keyword : group guidance, prosocial behavior, cultural values

Abstract

Abstract The goal this research is to find the effectiveness of model guidance and counseling comprehensive program to develop the personality/ social competency of secondary high school students.This research uses method one group pretest and posttest design. In data collecting technique, this research was directly done through interview, documentation and assessment scale.The conclusions of the research are, The model of guidance and counseling comprehensive program that developed is effective to evolving the personality/ social competency of secondary high school students.
