Abstract

This study investigated the roundwood production and profit sharing for Shorea leprosula and Shorea smithiana in case of PT Inhutani I Bukit Bangkirai, Balikpapan. Five research aims pursued in order to better understand the economic valuation of Shorea tree species, are: 1) analyse the increments of woody; 2) identify the age of trees reached the highest increments of woody; 3) measure the highest value of mean annual increments (MAI); 4) examine the nominal rate of return (i) for roundwood production; 5) examine the profit sharing between the management of  PT Inhutani I Bukit Bangkirai and investors. Additionally, the policy of profit sharing has been determined by the proportion of 55% for investors and 45% for the management.The results demonstrated that: 1) the wood potential of Shorea leprosula reached the highest value at the age of 40 years by producing 7.78 m3 ha-1 year-1, and Shorea smithiana reached the highest value at the age of 50 years by producing 333.34 m3 ha-1 year-1; 2) the highest value of MAI for Shorea leprosula and Shorea smithiana are 7.78 and 6.67 m3 ha-1 year-1 respectively; 3)  the nominal rate of return (i) of Shorea leprosula is 7.8% for investors and 8.3% for the management, and Shorea smithiana is 6.3% for investors and 6.7% the management. Overall, this research found that the economic value of Shorea leprosula and Shorea smithiana provide the nominal rate of return (i), which is higher than minimum acceptable rate of return (MAR).

Abstract

Effect of Nasa Liquid Organic Fertilizer and NPK Mutiara Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) Servo F1 Variety. The purpose of the research is to study the effect of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer and NPK Mutiara fertilizer and its interaction on the growth and yield of tomato, as well as to find the proper concentration of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer and dosage of NPK Mutiara fertilizer for obtaining the best yield of tomato.The research was conducted for three months from February to April 2017, from the time of seed preparation, land preparation until harvest time. It was carried out in Pinang Village, Samarinda Ulu Regency, East Kalimantan Province.The research was conducted using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in 4 x 4 Factorial Experiment and three replications.  The first factor was the concentration of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer (P) consisting of 4 levels : no Nasa liquid organic fertilizer application (p0), 1 ml/l water  (p1), 2 ml/l water (p2), and 3 ml/l air (p3).   The second factor was the dosage of NPK Mutiara fertilizer (N) consisting 4 levels : no NPK Mutiara fertilizer application (n0), 5 g/polybag (n1),  10 g/polybag (n2), and 15 g/polybag (n3).The results showed that Nasa liquid organic fertilizer, NPK Mutiara fertilizer treatment its interaction affected very significantly on the plant height at age 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, age of plants flowered, age of plant harvested, number of fruits per plant, and weight of fruits per plant; and the weighest weight of fruits per plant was produced in 2 ml/l water POC Nasa and 10 g/polybag of NPK Mutiara fertilizer (p2n2) treatment of 840,00 g/plant, while the lighest one was produced in 1 ml/l water POC Nasa and no NPK Mutiara fertilizer (p1n0) treatment of 300,00 g/plant

Abstract

The aim of this research  is to know  effect of SP-36 fertilizer and  liquid green tonic fertilizer on the growth and yield of green  been plants. The study  was conducted from February 2017 until May 2017. The located of the recearch at Barong Tongkok Village, Subdistrict, Kutai Barat Recency. The receach design used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) in experimental factorial pattern 4 x 4 with 3 replications. Factor I : dosage of SP-36 fertilizer (P), consisting  of 4 levels, namely : No SP-36 aplication or control (p0), SP-36 4 g /polibag (p1), SP-36 6 g/polibag  (p2), and SP-36 8 g/polibag (p3). Factor II : Concentration of Green Tonic Fertilizer (G), consisting of 4 levels, namely : No green tonic fertilizer or control (g0), green tonic 2 ml / polibag (g1), green tonic  4 ml/polibag(g2) , and green tonic 6 ml/ polibag (g3).The result showed that SP-36 fertilizer treatment had no signfiicant effect on the plant length at 10, 20, and 30 days after planting, age of flower emerged, long of fruit , ammount of  fruit,  and fruit weight per crop.The treatment of green tonic fertilizer had  no significant effect on the plant length at 10, 20, and 30 days after planting, age of flower emerged, length of fruit , number of  fruit,  and fruit weight per crop.The interaction treatment had no significant effect on the plant length at 10, 20, and 30 days after planting, age of flower emerged, long of fruit , ammount of  fruit,  and fruit weight per crop.

Abstract

The Response of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) to The Types and Application Time of Agroprobiotic Fertilizer. Agroprobiotic fertilizer as an alternative of organic fertilizer is expected to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers.  The aim of the study was to determine:  (1) the best type of agroprobiotic fertilizer; (2) the best application time; (3) interaction between the two factors on the growth and yield of lettuce. The study was conducted from May until July 2018 at  Faculty of Agriculture, Mulawarman University.  The research was 5x2 factorial experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Design with six time replications.  The first factor was the types of agroprobiotic fertilizer, namely: Maknyus; Cimelati; Mayas Putih; Keriting; and Hitam rice. The second factor was the application time of fertilizer, consisted of: in the morning (at 07.00-08.00) and in the afternoon (at 17.00-18.00).  The variables observed consisted of: the increment of plant height and number of leaves increment at 14; 28; 42 days after treatment (DAT); and at harvest time, fresh weight, and leaves area. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and continued with the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at 5% level. The results showed that the types of agroprobiotic fertilizer and the interaction between the two factors had no significantly different on the growth and yield of lettuce.  Agroprobiotic fertilizer from Mayas Putih rice showed the better growth and yield than others. The best time for application of fertilizer was in the morning, it showed significantly different on the increment of plant height at harvest time.

Abstract

This experience aims to result the influence of cow manure and liquid organic fertilizer Super Natural Nutrition as well as their interaction and the resulting growth of land cress plant and obtain dosage of the cow manure and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer super natural nutrition is right to land cress plant.The research was carried out for two months, from lateMaret 2016 to Mei 2016.From land preparation until crops.The location of the research in Mekar Jaya village, SebuluSubdistric and Kutai Kartanegara regency, East Kalimantan Province.Experiment design using a factorial 4 x 4 in a random design group (RAK), with consists of two factors experiment and three group. The first factors is the cow manure (P)this research consists of 4 levels : without cow manureorcontrol (p0), 5 ton/ha cow manureis equel to320 g/plot (p1), 10 ton/ha cow manure is equel to640 g/plot (p2), and 15ton/ha cow manure is equel to960 g/plot (p3). The secondfactors is theconsentrationof liquid organic fertilizer super natural nutrition (N)consists of 4 levels : without liquid organic fertilizer super natural nutrition(n0), theconsentrationof liquid organic fertilizer Super Natural Nutrition 1 ml/l.water (n1),consentrationof liquid organic fertilizer Super Natural Nutrition 2 ml/l.water (n2) and thenconsentrationof liquid organic fertilizer Super Natural Nutrition 3 ml/l.water (n3).The result showed that cow manure treatment (P) is significant effect plant height at 10 days after planting. The very significant effect plant height age at 20 days and 30 days after planting.Number of tilers for hill and weight of the crop per plant. The highest treatment  weight of the crop per plant is p3 (dosage cow manure 15 ton/ha equel 960 g/plot) is 69,32 g/plant and the lowest weight of the fresh plant in the treatment of p0 without cow manure or control is 40,00 g/plant.Treatmentof liquid organic fertilizer Super Natural Nutrition (N) does not significant effect with number of tilers for hill. The Significanlyt effect plant height at 10 days after planting.Very significantly effect plant height at 20 days and 30 days after plantingdanweight of the crop per plant.The highesttreatment  weight of the crop per plant is n3 (concentrationpupuk organik cair Super Natural Nutrition 3 ml/l.water) is 65,25 g/plant and then The lowest treatment weight of the crop per plant p0 (control treatment), yaitu 46,70 g/plant.

Abstract

The aims of research were to determine the effect Bokashi fertilizers and varietas as well as their interaction on the growth and yield of sweet corn, and to determine the proper dosage of Bokashi fertilizer to produce maximum production on certain varieties.The research was conducted starting from March 2016 to July 2016, from land preparation up to the last data collection. It was carried out at Jl. Pendidikan, North Sangatta sub district, East Kutai District. The research using Random Block Design (RBD), with 2 factorial and 3 replications. The  first factor was Bokashi Fertilizers (B), consisting of four levels, namaly : no Bokashi application or control (b0), 10 tons/ha equal to 3,5 kg/plot (b1), 15 tons/ha equal to 5,25 kg/plot (b2), and 20 ton/ha equal to 7 kg/plot (b3). The second factor was the maize varieties (V), consisting  of there varieties, namaly : Bonanza F1 (v1), Sweet Boy (v2), and Sweet Corn (v3).Results of the research showed that the Bokashi fertilizer treatment has no significant effect on the age of male flowers and female flowers emerge. But it had significant effect on the production of cobs per hectare. And it had very significant effect on the plant height at ages 15 days, 30 days and 45 days affer planting, cob lenght and cob diameter. The highest cobs production was attained at the b1 treatment with 7,68 tonnes/ha, while the lowest one was attained at the b0 treatment with only 7,48 tonnes/ha.Treatment of varieties did not affect significanttly on the plant height at ages of 15 days, 30 days and 45 days after planting, age of male flowers and female flowers emerge, cob length, cob diameter and production of cobs per hectare.Interaction treatment had no significand effect on the plant height at ages of 15 days, 30 days and 45 days after planting, age of male flowers and female flowers emerge, cob lenght, cob diameter and production of cobs per hectare.

Abstract

Teknik budidaya kopi berperan penting terhadap produktivitas biji kopi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi mengenai pengetahuan, dan tindakan petani dalam budidaya tanaman kopi di Desa Genteng Kecamatan Sukasari Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei langsung dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur untuk mendapatkan data primer, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi pemerintah. Pemilihan lokasi survei dilakukan secara terpilih (purposive). Data yang diperoleh disajikan secara deskriptif dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan χ2 (chi-square). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 66,67 % petani kopi berada pada usia 15 – 49 tahun (sangat produktif), dengan tingkat pendidikan 63,33 % lulusan Sekolah Dasar (SD), dan tanggungan keluarga 2 - 4 orang.  Rata –rata luas kebun kopi setiap petani adalah  7.500 m2 dengan usia tanaman rata-rata 4 tahun dan menghasilkan penghasilan rata-rata Rp.5.710.619 /KK/ha/tahun.  Sebagian besar petani (78%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang budidaya tanaman kopi, sedangkan 18% petani yang memiliki pengetahuan sedang dan 4% petani memiliki pengetahuan rendah namun  hanya 54% tindakan petani yang telah menerapkan teknik budidaya kopi yang baik sesuai dengan anjuran. Tingkat pengetahuan petani berkolerasi dengan usia dan pengalaman usaha tani sedangkan tindakan petani berkorelasi dengan tingkat pendidikan.

Abstract

In order to support the development of Aquilaria microcarpa and Aquilaria beccariana plants, specifically there is a need for research on the potential of stands in an area by considering the factors that influence the genetic abilities of individual plants that interact with the environment, including: soil or site factors, climate factors , topographic factors, plant species and animal disorders.The aim of this study was to determine the increment of diameter, height and volume of Aquilaria microcarpa and Aquilaria beccariana plant species when the plants were 8 years old in 2014 to eleven years old when the study was conducted, namely in 2017.This study uses Primary Data in the form of diameter and height measurement data that have been analyzed to produce the amount of increment and average, diameter, height and volume of plant species of Aquilaria microcarpa and Aquilaria beccariana determined as many as 50 plant samples. Determination of the sample based on the order of the population plants that have been numbered, this selection technique uses the principle of proportional sampling (systematic proportional sampling). While secondary data is obtained through the activities of collecting existing data or documents from both the library and information obtained from relevant institutions in the research needs and conducting literature studies.Based on the results of the study, it was found that the increments of Aquilaria microcarpa and Aquilaria beccariana species at the Arboretum of the Dipterocarpa Forest Ecosystem Research and Development Center in Samarinda varied. Abstract

Effect Of Various Types Of Liquid Organic Fertilizer On Growth And Yield Of Green Eggplant (Solanum melongena L). Research on the effect of various types of liquid organic fertilizer on growth and yield of green eggplant (Solanum melongena L) was conducted on February up to May 2018 at Agrotechnology  Experimental Farm, STIPER East Kutai.A single factor of completely randomized block design were used in this research, and analysis of variance were used for data analysis and for advance by a Duncan's test, on a significance level 5%. The treatment is giving various types of LOF (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) from goat manure, cow dung and chicken manure. Each type of LOF had six replication. Obtained data were analyzed by analysis of variance at a significance level 5%. The research results showed that application of various types of liquid organic fertilizer was non significant on plant height, number of leaves, flowering age and weight of eggplant.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know hormone Auksin IAA response and onion extract to the ability live of shoot cuttings Shorea parvifolia Dyer.This research using by Completely Randomized Design pattern by 3 x 3 factors and every repetition contain 30 cuttings with the hormone treatment or regulator grow  essence auksin IAA (A) by 0,1 gr/ml close, onion extract (B) content by 100% and didn’t by treatment or control (O).The result of this research are : (1) the influence of regulator grow auksin IAA essence and the onion extract to multiplication cuttings meranti sabut (Shorea parvifolia Dyer.) that indicate using hormone auksin IAA is the best with 91,11% presentation live by onion extract have 87,78% while presentation live and did not by control have 85,56% live presentation. (2) the influence of regulator auksin IAA essence and extract onion to multiplication cuttings meranti sabut (Shorea parvifolia Dyer.) to the sum of root, the long of root, the sum of new leaf and the new shoot are different and not real.
