Abstract

Higher education institution must be able to well perform processes of evaluation, planning and management in order to win the competition in this globalization era. To support any effort of the aforementioned, the institution needs qualified and sufficient information supports so that it can probe and predict any potential strength which existed. Development data warehouse and data mining is kinds of solution alternatives which can be done to help organization in finding and understanding hidden patterns from the data provided. Data warehouse is a collection of integrated databases which is used to support the process of decision making. Data mining is a kind of analysis tool which is used to extract any information provided in the data warehouse. The research discussed a problem in designing data warehouse and applying data mining to support the academic system at IBI Darmajaya in representing potential information required for better academic services to learners. The first executed steps was establishing the data warehouse of IBI Darmajaya, then an analysis was conducted towards all saved data in the data warehouse by using data mining techniques. The results of this research is a data warehouse that can represent information to support the evaluation process and acceptance of new students campaign planning to the potential areas and school, advertising media that will be used, monitoring of students’ academic status, evaluation and planning of students’ study plans, and performance evaluation of study program within the aspects of alumni quality and length of study.  In addition, this research also result the application of data mining for finding the rules that used to driving and directing the students enthusiast and study program selection for prospective new students. Abstract

In this paper, we report the benchmarking results of Hyperledger, a Distributed Ledger, which is the derivation Blockchain Technology. Method to evaluate Hyperledger in a limited infrastructure is developed. The measured infrastructure consists of 8 nodes with a load of up to 20000 transactions/second.. The benchmarking of Hyperledger shows better than a database system in a high workload scenario. We found that the maximum size data volume in one transaction on the Hyperledger network is around ten (10) times of MySQL. Also, the time spent on processing a single transaction in the blockchain network is 80-200 times faster than MySQL. This initial analysis can provide an overview for practitioners in making decisions about the adoption of blockchain technology in their IT systems.

Abstract

The development of information system today has led to various changes that significantly taken into account in an organization decision making to obtain precise and accurate information for use. In processing the data of alumni, STIE Prabumulih is still using computerized system. This way brings the lack of development of information includes vacancies information obtained by alumni and students which is neither accurate nor sufficient, hence it is necessary for STIE Prabumulih to have the development of information so that information obtained can be more accurated and updated. Programming language used is the Personal Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and design editor is Macromedia Dreamwaver CC 2015. The application also uses MySQL as its database so it can be helpful in inputting data in which it can be done   more quickly, precisely and efficiently. The study is  a descriptive design that aims to clarify the data obtained and give a detailed description of the existing alumni data collection system at STIE Prabumulih. Keywords: Alumni, website, PHP, MySQL, descriptive

Abstract

This research will build a system or tool (software) for face recognition based image search for lecturers to teach IBI Darmajaya attendance. This study used the face with a normal pose or face with position perpendicular to the face. Facial image recognition method using the 2D-DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform Dimention 2) good image and image database query. The system is expected to replace the old model of teaching faculty attendance Darmajaya IBI. Lecturers who will teach come to PLPP no longer need to put or write down the number of meetings, day and date, subject and sub ​​subject but the teacher just came in front of the camera PLPP automatic scanner and a professor of facial images will be taken then processed by the program, the program will inform the faculty meeting and room number. Abstract

Recently, the main focus in research and development are pointing to multimedia data, including audio. The method used for indexing and retrieval of multimedia data is known as MIRS  (Multimedia Indexing and Retrieval System). MIRS differs from traditional database management system since multimedia data has different characteristics compared to alphanumeric data. In this research a method for indexing and retrieval of audio file is developed and evaluated. The number of samples of the data used in this research are varied, but the sampling rate and the numer of bits per sample are the same. An audio file is represented by a number of features extracted from the file and stored in the system’s database. The features used for this research are average enegy, zero crossing rate and silence ratio. The three features are used for matching between query audio file and audio file in the database either individually or simultaneously. The experimental results show that the succes rate of this system to find audio files depends on the feature used and the threshold used for measuring the similarity between query audio and files in the database.  By using Euclidean Distance, the average energy gives 90% succes rate, the zero crossing rate gives 77% succes rate, the silence ratio gives 90% succes rate and the combined feature gives 90% succes rate. This succes rate percentage showed that the features used to recognize similarity between query audio file and database audio file is appropriate.   Keyword :  MIRS, average energy, zero crossing rate, silence ratio

Abstract

PT. X is a company which operates in electronics and furniture financing. As a finance company, the major concern is how to get as many debtors who have a strong commitment to repay provided financing. Decision Support System is one of the uses of computer technology which is able to help in a decision making. The loan officers are required precision, accuracy and responsibility in determining the admissibility of such financing in order to the management of PT. X wills not loss. One way to determine a accepted or not accepted financing is by building up a system that can facilitate the management in assessing of feasibility of the filling of financing by debtors using Fuzzy Inference System Mamdani method. Abstract

Beberapa tahun terakhir ini, penggunaan e-commerce atau toko online sangat meningkat. Bermacam-macam toko online yang bermunculan di internet, baik berskala kecil maupun yang berskala besar. Hal ini memiliki pengaruh yang sangat penting pada penggunaan waktu yang efektif dan tingkat angka penjualan. Maka dari itu e-commerce atau toko online harus mempunyai kemampuan menilai sarana yang digunakan untuk mengetahui dan mengklasifikasikan niat pembelanjaan online sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan bagi toko tersebut. Niat pembelanja online dapat dilakukan pengklasifikasian menggunakan beberapa algoritma, seperti Naive Bayes, Random Forest dan Support Vector Machine. Dalam penelitian ini perbandingan algoritma dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi WEKA dengan mengetahui nilai F1-Score, Akurasi, Kappa Statistic dan Mean Absolute Error. Terdapat perbedaan antara hasil pengujian, untuk nilai F1-Score, Akurasi, Kappa Statistic menghasilkan pengujian algoritma Random Forest-lah yang paling baik dibandingkan Naive Bayes dan Support Vector Machine. Sedangkan pada nilai Mean Absolute Error hasil pengujian algoritma Support Vector Machine merupakan nilai terbaik dari pada Naive Bayes dan Random Forest. Sehingga berdasarkan penelitian ini Algoritma Random Forest merupakan algoritma yang paling baik dan tepat untuk diterapkan sebagai pengklasifikasian niat pembelanja online, karena algoritma Random Forest yang paling mendominasi dalam mengetahui nilai kriteria seperti F1-Score, Akurasi, Kappa Statistic dan Mean Absolute Error.

Abstract

Information is very important in the relationship between parents and students with school. Needs information on the value of student exams in schools for example as a means of supporting academic activities that are very important to be known by parents of students. Submission of information on the academic value of students in schools is generally done every acceptance report cards. The system that has been generated is the development of web based exam score software designed to report the test scores to students and parents through the website. Web-based exam score software has run well. The software exam scores are implemented using the MySQL database, and PHP Codeigniter as a programming language tool. Keywords: Software Value Test, website, Codeigniter.

Abstract

The process of acceptance of lectures in STAH Lampung has an obstacle which is the duration of the data management process and subjectivity of decision taking especially because some of candidates which do not have different ability. This obstacle impacts in the duration of decision making process for lectures acceptance. Fuzzy logic is used as a way to map the problem from  input to output, the process of decision taking of lectures acceptance is using Mamdani Fuzzy method which is known as max-min method. The input variables that are used are IPK, experience, interview, and the interest variables while the output is final score. The selection process troughs several steps which are fuzzy group creating, implication function application, the rules composition, and defuzzy. This decision supporting system of lectures acceptance selection by using Mamdani FIS is able to give the specific and right score which is suitable with institution standard z ≥ 50 score.Key Words : STAH, Lecture, Decision Supporting System

Abstract

In disbursing loans to the members, the Cooperative Mandiri Utama should consider several things including, the files submission must be complete, been already had  a family, living in the same area with ​​the Cooperative office, already had job security and / effort that is being/has been running. Method of analytic hierarchy process or AHP is often called one of the methods that is used for decision making in a variety of issues such as decision-making (of) major selections, the winer of bidder project, the selection of housing, etc. Method of analytic hierarchy process is easily understood and applied to various types of cases that can be generally described the characteristics that the final result was obtained by calculating the percentage who belong to certain elements of the calculation. The new application system in a data processing Lending Decision Support System on Cooperative Mandiri Utama AHP method has to be used to process credit analysis and decision concludes the creditworthiness so it facilitate the cooperative Mandiri Utama in making decisions on loans made ​​by the cooperative.
