Abstract

Abstract Abstract: Learning with the use of instructional media that is not appropriate is still often the case, so learning is not in line with expectations. This is what happened at Pematangsiantar FKIP UHN Senior High School. This article aims to provide an overview of the use of Adobe Flash CS 6 media in the learning process at the FKIP UHN Pematangsiantar Campus. Adobe Flash CS 6 is used for making animations that are equipped with attractive displays in the form of applications to design and create interactive learning media. Student learning outcomes in writing the paragraph description at the pretest stage of 30 students 11 declared complete and 19 students declared incomplete with a mean score of 58.02 and at the post-test stage of 30 students 26 students declared complete 4 students declared incomplete with an average value 83, 35. This proves that learning media by using Adobe Flash CS 6 can improve learning outcomes in writing paragraph descriptions for grade X students of the FKIP UHN Pematangsiantar campus.  Keywords: Learning Media, Adobe Flash CS 6, Paragraph Description

Abstract

 Abstract Angkola Batak Language (BBA) is one of the regional languages that is still actively used by its speakers. In BBA there is a genre of language use known as proverbs and expressions. The proverbs and expressions in the BBA are known as natural language use genres which can also be found in various languages. Proverbs and expressions are universal lingual phenomena that are realized differently in various cultures. By applying the Natural Semantic Meteoric Approach (MSA), this paper describes the reflection of meaning in the proverb and BBA expressions that describe the universality and uniqueness, as well as the dynamics of its use by the Batola Angkola community which is compared with similar forms in Indonesian. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the meaning of the proverbs and expressions in BBA is a cultural product of universal language use. The lingual facts used to compose the proverbs and expressions in the BBA show the phenomenon of universal language cultural meaning. That every language has lingual forms which are universal cultural language phenomena is also found in the proverb and BBA expression.  Keywords: maxim, expression, Angkola Batak language

Abstract

Abstract  The purpose of this study is to describe language disorders (motor aphasia). The details of the purpose of the study are to describe language disorders (Motor Aphasia), to describe the causes of language disorders (Motor Aphasia), to describe how the use of language in people with language disorders (Motor Aphasia). The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that 56-year-old aphasia sufferers who are the subjects of this study can tell news, question, command, and single sentence sentences. Aphasia patients aged 56 years in general are able to speak sentences in the pattern of SP, PS, PK. KeyWords: Interference, Language, Aphasia

Abstract

 Abstract  Pierre Bourdieu's thought has become an alternative to analyzing the battles waged by the author in the process of ideas, writing, to publication. This reason becomes the basis and consideration that literary studies can enter many domains, not only in literary works but also in authors, society and publishing. Pierre Bourdieu offers the concepts of habitus, capital, realm, and practice. The description method and application method are used to understand Pierre Bourdieu's concept of thought and application to continue the literary work. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of picture and picture learning models in writing essays of class IX students of Medan Ulumul Qur'an Public Private Class IX. The method used in this study is an experimental method that is the post-test only design group method. The instrument used to capture the assignment data is writing an argumentation essay. From the data processing results obtained the average experimental class was 78.09, while the average control class was 71.66. Thus the value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. After testing the hypothesis obtained = 23.81 at a significant level a = 5% from the distribution list t dk 40, then obtained = 2.021. If the price is compared with the apparent price> (23.81> 2.021), it can be stated that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis(Ha) is accepted. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of picture and picture learning models in writing argumentation essays is more effective than expository learning methods. Keywords: picture and picture learning model, writing, argument essay

Abstract

Abstract South Tapanuli is one of the Regencies in North Sumatra Province. Ethnicity from this district is called the Mandailing Batak ethnic group, which has various customary activities. Horja godang is a traditional wedding ceremony ceremony for the people of South Tapanuli, where art activities are included (margondang) accompanied by manortor (dancing). Tortor who danced in this activity there are several stages, namely tortor Suhut Bolon, Tortor Kahanggi, Tortor Anak Boru, Tortor Kings of Torbing Balok, Tortor Panusunan Bulung, Tortor Naposo Nauli Bulung, and Tortor Manora Pule. In the presentation, the panor is determined by the kinship system (transfer of natolu) including the order of tortor that must be done. The research method used is a qualitative method. The form of presentation in writing is descriptive analytic. Using this method the results of the research will be described and analyzed with a primary focus on the cultural and social fields. The results of this study are to find out how the procedures for organizing a party for the community of tailings with the customs that apply in the area.  Keywords: Custom, Party, Horja

Abstract

 ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan: (1) pemerolehan sintaksis anak usia lima tahun saat menceritakan kembali dongeng nusantara yang didengar, (2) jenis kalimat yang kompleks yang diperoleh anak saat bercerita, (3) frekuensi kalimat tunggal dan kalimat majemuk yang dihasilkan masing-masing anak, dan (4) implementasi pemerolehan sintaksis di PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, rekam, dan catat. Uji validitas dari sumber data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Bagi Unsur Langsung (BUL) dan diperkuat dengan teknik lanjutan berupa Teknik Ubah Ujud. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemerolehan kalimat tunggal dan kalimat majemuk sudah sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan usia mereka . Penggunaaan satu kata dan dua kata masih sering dihasilkan oleh anak-anak. Mereka juga menggunakan kalimat pasif pada saat menceritakan kembali dongeng. Verba yang mereka gunakan berupa sufiks {di-} dan afiks{di-in}. Pemerolehan sintaksis dengan menceritakan kembali dongeng yang didengar dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan standar kompetensi yang ada. Abstract

Abstract This thesis entitled "Meaning of Life on the Leading Character in Mansell’s Three Amazing Things about You and Oesman’s 728 Hari : A Comparative Literature Analysis ". This thesis discusses about meaning of life that can be seen by three areas of activity. There are two problems that focused in this thesis; meaning of life portrayed in the novel Three Amazing Things about You by Jill Mansell and 728 Hari by Djono W. Oesman and the similarities and the differences of meaning of life portrayed in the both of the novels. The method of research that is used in this thesis is qualitative method. Both of the novels are the primary source of data by using theory logotherapy by Viktor Emil Frankl and theory comparative literature which is will be compare in this study. The purpose of this thesis is to find out how meaning of life and how the similarities and the differences of meaning of life are portrayed in the both of the novels. From this research it is found that meaning of life can be prove from three areas of activity that potentially contain values, they  are, creative values, experiential values and attitudinal values that portrayed in both of novels. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berlatarbelakang dari permasalahan bagaimana masyarakat aceh khususnya Kota Langsa masih mampu mempertahankan kearifan lokal dan budaya lokal ditengah gempuran terpaan media massa. Kearifan lokal yang masih terjaga mampu menangkal dampak negatif terpaan media massa sehingga dapat dijadikan sebuah model literasi media, baik melalui pendidikan literasi media maupun gerakan literasi media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menganalisis nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Aceh pada masyarakat Kota Langsa di media; (2) mendeskripsikan literasi media berbasis kearifan lokal di Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan etnografi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah media yang terdapat di Aceh dan juga dari berbagai literatur/studi pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik kajian pustaka. Teknik kajian pustaka membuktikan dan menjelaskan secara lebih rinci data yang terdapat pada media sebagai sumber data. Teknik penganalisisan data dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) mendeskripsikan data yang menggambarkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Aceh di media; (2) mengklasifikasikan data; (3) menganalisis data; (4) mendeskripsikan model literasi media berbasis kearifan lokal Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, kesadaran masyarakat Aceh khususnya di Kota Langsa melalui kearifan lokal dalam literasi media belum mampu memaksimalkan potensinya sendiri disebabkan masyarakat masih menjadi pengguna media yang pasif serta kurangnya dukungan dari pemerintah dalam membentuk masyarakat cerdas bermedia. Kedua, model literasi media yang digunakan adalah model berbasis kearifan lokal meliputi 4 elemen yaitu kemampuan mengakses, menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan memproduksi pesan.  Kata Kunci: Kearifan Lokal, Literasi Media, Masyarakat Aceh

Abstract

Abstrak  Sastra menggambarkan kehidupan suatu masyarakat, dan melalui karya sastra pula identitas atau peradaban suatu bangsa dapat dikenali. Melalui karya sastra kita dapat mengidentifikasi perilaku atau moral suatu bangsa. Seiring berkembangnya zaman, sastra mulai banyak dilupakan bahkan kurang diminati oleh generasi muda. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pengaruh perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi yang telah mengubah segala aspek kehidupan yang ada di dunia. Di era globalisasi seperti saat ini kemajuan dan kecanggihan dunia teknologi informasi semakin pesat. Era digital merupakan istilah yang di gunakan dalam kemunculan digital, jaringan internet khususnya teknologi informasi komputer. Media baru Era Digital sering di gunakan untuk menggambarkan teknologi digital. Dalam hal ini internet secara tidak langsung telah mengubah generasi sekarang menjadi generasi digital yang tumbuh dan didampingi dengan informasi-informasi, alat-alat canggih, dan menjadikan generasi yang desosialisasi atau generasi yang lebih suka menyendiri karena sudah merasa senang dan tenang dengan dunianya sendiri. Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, maka penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prinsip pembelajaran sastra di era digital. Perkembangan era digital diharapkan dapat membawa dampak positif terhadap kemajuan pembelajaran sastra di lingkungan. Baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar lingkungan sekolah. Pembelajaran sastra menggunakan perkembangan digital diharapkan mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar remaja untuk menulis dan berkreativitas. Untuk itu perlu menyikapi hal ini dengan baik yakni dengan melakukan upaya-upaya yang harus dilakukan agar era digital membawa manfaat bagi setiap aspek kehidupan.  Kata kunci: Sastra, era digital, dan Pembelajaran sastra era digital
