Abstract

The Holy Book of Koran have secrets contained in the al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah the letter opener. Not a few scholars who claim that al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah including part of paragraph mutashâbihât meaning known only to God. However, many Muslim scholars or Orientalists who try to uncover secrets about the intentions of al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah. Among orientalists who participated in the secrets behind al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah is Theodor Noldeke. In his book, Geschichte des Qorans, Noldeke view that al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah not part of the Koran. Noldeke assume that al-hurûf al-muqatta?ah who are in the early surah is the initials of the names of the authors of the Koran. The initials have been used prior to the codification process in the future ?Uthmân. the letter also as a symbol mushaf their disposal. For example Alif-Lâm-Râ are the initials of al-Zubayr, the letter Sâd for Hafsah, Kâf to Abû Bakr, and Nûn to ?Uthmân. This paper will attempt to explore and criticize opinions Noldeke in more depth

Abstract

Muhammad b. ?Alî Muhammad b. ?Abd Allâh al-Shawkânî al-San?ânî. He was born in the Hijrah in Shawkân village, Yemen on Monday 28 Dhû al-Qa?dah 1172 H and died on Tuesday, 27 Jumâd al-Akhîr 1250 H at the age about 78 years. Al-Shawkânî grew up in the San?a city, it is the capital of the republic of Yemen now. He study first time about religion from his father, then from renowed scholars in San?a and its surrounding, he was known as a scolar who mastered the various branches of religious sciences. Such as tafsîr, h}adîth, fiqh, us}ûl al-fiqh, history, science of kalâm, philosophy, balâghah, mant}iq etc. the main issue in this article is how political thought in the book of tafsir Fath al-Qadîr is the work of Shawkânî. At the end of article, the authors found that the intended political thinking in the study of Fath al-Qadîr is about constitutional ideas. These ideas about the constitution is limited to the concept of leadership and deliberation, the concept of the right of citizen to obtain justice, and the concept pf the right of citizens to live association and assembly

Abstract

To reconnect the Islamic religious sciences with science world needed a multi-disciplinary group involving Islamic scholars want any worldly Muslim scholars. Koran can be a source of inspiration or a source of known science knowledge without having to be stuck on a wall of separation between the proclamation creator of the science of Islamic and non-Islamic. Interpretation is not just an attempt to read the text, but it should be a transformation efforts and solutions to social problems of life. It required a tool, namely the nature of philosophy or theory and social sciences related to the study of interpretation in question. Abstract

This article will examine the meaning of the word in the Koran jâhilîyah mentioned as many as 24 verses in 17 letters with various forms of the semantic approach. This approach is an option given the existence of this word has been around since pre-islamic Arab past, as evidenced by the presence of all jâhilîyah lyric. In addition, the commentators also provide a diverse meaning to the word. Ibn Jarîr al-T{abarî that in fact as a classical commentators, stating that the meaning of the word refers jâhilîyah person who has committed a disgraceful act or any person who commits sin intentionally. While Sayyid Qutb see it as the opposite of ?ilm and ma?rifah. In view of Quraish Shihab is jâhilîyah is not only opposed to the word ?ilm but also in the sense of losing control of himself, so that actors do things that are not fair, either at the instigation of appetite, temporary interests, or parochialism. Abstract

  This paper will examine clarification Muhy al-Dîn al-Darwîsh against charges orientalistabout the authenticity of the Koran. Today, these allegations go back voiced by the Egyptian Coptic priest Zakaria Batrousin his book Tasâulât Hawl al-Qur?ân. One of the accused is the assertion that the Koran contains errors and defects in terms of language, as it is considered contrary to the rules nah}w. From here finally Zakaria concludes that the Koran is not the work of God, but a bouquet of Muhammad, because God could do no wrong. What does Zakaria is a fragment of a long journey Orientalist in reviewing the Eastern world, especially the Islamic religion who has written neatly in history. By writing the book I?râb al-Qur?ân al-Karîm wa Bayânuh, al-Darwish wanted to prove that what is alleged Zakaria just nonsense. This book is written with a light and easy to understand language readers, especially for the orientalists who lack the ability to understand the science nahw and Arabic literature

Abstract

One of the causes is not the end of the study the Koran is the Koran contains many possible meanings (Wujûh al-Ma?ânî) continuous potential can be explored and interpreted in accordance with the methods and tendencies interpreter. Therefore, no wonder the result was rich in meaning and interpretation is different, so lure the attention of others to re-refine and refuse to offer a different perspective. This viewpoint difference is attributed to the possibility of the many meanings of the Koran, also due to socio-cultural and areas of specialization of each interpreter. Abstract

  The word is strung into the verses of the Koran is a divine sentence a similar level of fluency and beauty of literature between one verse with other verses. Although the Koran uses mutashâbih al-lafz and tikrâr, the choice of words is representative of the context is going on. This means that the choice of words shows the detail of information that occurred and the repetition of words not followed essentially the repetition of meaning, but brings new meaning different from the first words that are complementary and not interchangeable. This rule is brought to Ibn al-Zubayr al-Gharnâtî trough his creation, Milâk al-Ta?wîl al-Qâti? bi Dhawi al-Ilhâd wa al-Ta?t}îl fî Tawjîh al-Mutashâbih al-Lafz min Ây al-Tanzîl. This creation became a real reflection of insight cleric Granada, which uses the method applied research (al-manhâj al-tatbîqî al-tahlîlî) in every discussion. This article will explain the interpretation of Ibn Zubayr on the causes of differences in editorial verses of the Koran, known as al-lafz mutashâbih.
