Abstract

The research is motivated by the lack of knowledge and skills of farmers mothers about parenting. BKB caders explained that farming families are not applying the results of counseling was carried out in BKB activity in daily life. The purpose of the study to determine the benefits of counseling BKB results in the care of infants in women farmers in the Keboncau Sumedang. The method used in this research using descriptive method with a population BKB active participants in following the extension BKB totaling 76 participants. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling of 33 people with certain considerations that mothers of preschool children (3-5 years), a mother who worked as a farmer, and a mother who participated in BKB. The research instrument used is a checklist with questionnaire technique. The results showed that the benefit of the results of BKB counseling in parenting a toddler in women farmers in general are at a very helpful and useful criteria. Recommendations submitted to BKB cadres to further enhance knowledge and skills regarding BKB programs by exchanging ideas with other cadres and attending seminars related to BKB program and to mothers farmers can be used as a basic idea to further improve the care done to their children especially in development aspect Children according to age of development.

Abstract

This research is background by limited of student skill in mastery of foreign term. Using in intructional media of public area subject is limited, in oder to need inovative instructional media that help student. This research purpose to create interactive bilingual offline media as instructionall madia that help student to mastery foreign term of public area subject. This reearsch uses research and development by PPE model is planning, production, and evaluation. At design stage of interactive multimedia assisted with flow charts and story board to facilitate production process. The production process is carried out based on the design has been created. At this stage of the development of interactive multimedia software supporting mainly using Macromedia Flash 8. Participants in this research are two media expert to expert judgment interactive multimedia. Expert judgment for offline interactive multimedia bilingual by first media experts on feasible criteria with some suggestions for improvement. The results of the second phase of expert judgment criteria are eligible without revision after repair. Repairs carried out in accordance input from media experts. The end product of this research is a CD Interactive. Recomendation for next  researcher can research of implementation in interactive bilingual offline multimedia for mastery of foreign term of public area subject or about interactive multimedia from other subject in hospitality acomofation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of students ability in making bed on the Industrial Practice (IP) implementation that has not complied with hotel’s Operational Standard. The Aim of this study is to obtain students work skills in practicing stripping bed, and making bed. The research method used in this research is descriptive method, and use instrument in the form of performance criterion by using scale four. Sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling. The research result of students’ work skill in making bed based on hotel’s Operational standard includes two stages implemented by students consist of preparation stage or stripping bed, and the process of making bed. The students’ skill in  preparation stage or stripping bed is more shown in the preparing practical equipment aspect that is preparing linens for making bed. The students’ skill at the implementation stage of making bed is more indicated in  process of making bed practice implementation. Most of the students gain very capable results according to hotel’s Operational standard, meanwhile there are still some students gain  capable result and less capable result in making bed in  Industrial Practice implamantation in hotel. The result of this research is expected to be used as input for Family Walfare Study Program of House Keeping concentration students who will conduct Industrial Practice in the future to be able to maintain the ability in the of making bed practice according to hotel’s operational standard.

Abstract

This research moved into the problem of not maximizing the utilization of the remaining pieces of wood practice Kriya Kayu students in SMKN 14 Bandung. This study aims to design a product of Eco-Creative based wood craft as a learning medium on product design subjects in SMK Negeri 14 Bandung. This research uses Research and Development (R & D) method through Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation phase. The study sample consisted of two media instructional experts. The findings of the research results show the learning media materials from the utilization of waste wood pieces to produce learning media for Kindergarten in the form of pyramid numbers and the arrangement of geometric shapes are at very reasonable criteria. Media pyramid numbers and arrangement of geometric shapes that have been designed to show feasibility as a medium of learning from the aspect of identification, goals, visualization and function are at very reasonable criteria. Recommendations that can be submitted for product design subject teachers are expected to utilize and process waste wood pieces into a medium that can be used in the learning process. For later researchers to be developed into a medium used for the learning process of preschoolers or develop other types of learning media.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan sekolah yang berorientasi pada dunia kerja dan merupakan pendidikan yang berbasis bakat, minat dan keterampilan sehingga menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten di bidangnya. Dalam kurikulumnya, selain menyelenggarakan pembelajaran di kelas, SMK juga menyelenggarakan program Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) yang diselenggarakan secara block placement. Peserta didik yang akan melaksanakan PKL, hendaknya memiliki kesiapan dan bekal teori yang cukup, sehingga PKL dapat terlaksana sesuai dengan tujuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tentang pelaksanaan PKL oleh peserta didik sebagai caregiver di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Bandung yang berkaitan dengan aspek pelayanan, penjagaan/pemeliharaan dan rekreasi/olah raga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sampel total yaitu seluruh peserta didik SMK Negeri 15 Bandung yang melaksanakan PKL di PSTW Budi Pertiwi Bandung yang berjumlah enam orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan daftar cheklist dengan metode Skala Guttman. Hasil temuan menunjukan bahwa: (1) lebih dari setengah responden/peserta didik melaksanakan kriteria unjuk kerja pada aspek pelayanan, (2) kurang dari setengah responden/peserta didik melaksanakan kriteria unjuk kerja pada aspek penjagaan/pemeliharaan dan (3) setengah dari responden/peserta didik melaksanakan kriteria unjuk kerja pada aspek rekreasi/olah raga. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini yaitu hendaknya pihak sekolah menempatkan mata pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan pelayanan lanjut usia pada semester yang tidak bersamaan dengan pelaksanaan PKL.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan analisis lapangan belum tersedianya modul kerajinan yang dapat mempermudah guru maupun peserta didik dalam mempelajari cara membuat karya kerajinan di MTs Nurussalam Ciamis, berdasarkan analisis tersebut maka dirancanglah modul berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL), dengan  melaksanakan expert judgement,  sehingga menghasilkan modul kerajinan berbasis PjBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development dengan pendekatan ADDIE yang telah dimodifikasi oleh peneliti sesuai dengan kebutuhan, sehingga peneliti hanya melakukan empat tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, dan Evaluation. Hasil perancangan modul kerajinan berbasis PjBL divalidasi oleh ahli kurikulum dan ahli kerajinan, sehingga berada pada kategori layak untuk digunakan, ketercapaian kriteria tersebut terdiri dari aspek isi dengan komponen berupa bagian pembuka, bagian inti dan bagian penutup serta menghasilkan modul kerajinan berbasis PjBL. Rekomendasi diajukan kepada guru mata pelajaran prakarya modul yang sudah dirancang oleh peneliti layak digunakan  pada mata pelajaran prakarya pada aspek kerajinan, dan Bagi calon peneliti, khususnya untuk pengembangan modul di MTs Nurussalam Ciamis agar bisa dikembangkan pada modul kerajinan berbahan organik.
